It was a nice, older building in what was once a mansion. The rooms are comfortable and clean for the value, however, the online posting is incorrect.
The room we were given was not as represented online. The posting clearly states king size bed, with living room, and shows the image of a different room. We were given a double bed, in a small room with no sitting area. The posted room had been given to another group, and we were not given a rate reduction, refund, or additional amenities to compensate for the difference in room. While the staff did apologize and were friendly, they blamed the problem on booking.com, and did not seem to understand that providing rooms as advertised is their responsibility.
Hotel has a nice maroccan ambiance good location. Breakfast has good coffee!
Rooms in winter don t have Heating. So it is cold when you are in the room. Between november and march this is a problem. We left early because of this. The staff was reasonable enough to change our reservation without paying for the days we did not stay.
Very friendly and helpfull staff. There's a nice terrace to have breakfast. The location is very good. Easy to park your car In front of the hotel.
There was not enough pressure in the shower.
It was incredibly cold all the time, everywhere with no effort on behalf of the staff to make it better, although they had a heater in the lobby.
I like the decorations and the treatment from the staff, extremely nice people. Nice rooms and backyard.
The TV didn't work, also it's very cold in winter, although they do provide extra blankets.
The staff was most helpful and friendly. They spoke English and seemed to care about all their guest. The breakfast on the patio was nice, especially the Morocan tea with mint.
The bathroom is what they call a wet room. No shower stall but lots of hot water.
Staff would go miles out of their way to help and were very accommodating, fab location, beautiful hotel with great facilities and lovely garden area
The shower wasn't contained so the floor was always wet in the bathroom
Location, size of the room, clean
Staff they aren't at reception when I arrived, no maps, no hot water
Staff welcoming. Nice room, newly decorated but the shower door was not hung correctly so it didn't close. Not a problem for us though.
Breakfast could be improved.
Good location, friendly staff, clean, slept well. What more could you ask for?
Breakfast doesn't start in time for the first ferry to Terifa, but that's not the end of the world.
We stayed here for 3 nights on the first floor. Pretty basic room with ensuite - bed was a bit hard and there is no air conditioning. Breakfast is served in the courtyard at the back of the Pension and is adequate (bread rolls are nice, but hard). For the price this is a good place to stay, the staff were very good and helpful. Location was our prime reason for selecting this pension.
We stayed only overnight so there isn't much we can say.The boy Sayid was very friendly and the room was very comfortable.
Nothing to declare.
The people were extremely nice and helpfull!
The shower was not working properly..the water temperature was either too hot or too cold!but this is a minor issue at least for me :)
Nearby Restaurants were very good though the hotel's location will have you climbing uphill to get something to eat. Hotel breakfast consisted of good bred, coffee and orange juice.
Noise Dirt Renovation of a room across the hall from us led to much noise during the day and a layer of grit on the hallway floors that was never cleaned up while we were there.
Quite friendly staff, breakfast rather basic ,but arab hotels usually are
Steep hill to climb for an elderly person and no lift in building
We liked the friendliness of staff also they spoke english very well. The breakfast was tasty and the teracce is lovely.
We were staying just for one night, so double check if it is a good location for you. For us it was great.
Staff were awesome, friendly, helpful!!
The location couldn't have been better - slap bang in the middle to Tangier. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Lovely weather too.
The only negative was the shower was either very hot or cold. Having said that we managed fine. No complaints and we hope to return next year.
Good central location in between medina / new town. Not expensive, but really basic room.
Terrible hard bed. Not comfortable at all for a person with back problems! Shower hygiene was not ok. Unlike another Riad, tea is charged for 10 dirhams.
Close to beach and port. Short walk to medina
excellent location (approximately 15 min on foot from Medina, few min from the beach, safe neighborhood), good wi-fi, kind staff
we didn't get the room that we booked, toilet was broken and there was so much dust in the furniture and linen that was very hard to breathe (even for my friend who doesn't have asthma), they offer overpriced taxi to airport (you can get 3x cheaper on the street, look for the green cab)
I loved the staff and the courtyard in the back, where a tasty, healthy breakfast was served.
Mosquitos. They were all over the place. The windows didn't have screens and I got bitten every night.
We were given a bigger and more expensive room for the same price due to some booking mistakes.. The garden where breakfast is served is very pleasant and spacious. Vey nice staff at the reception.
Staff were polite.
It was run down, needed attention. You could only have one cup of tea.Pay for a second.Unusual. during our stay in Morocco.Room was poor.toels were awful, only 2 medium towels.Wouldnt stay again.Compared with what we paid in other Hotels price was poor and room was poor.
- building itself - big room - good breakfast in the nice yard - staff (friendly, speaks good english)
- internet went off sometimes
