Very well located, close to everything we wanted to do and see. People in the riad were always very kind and helpful, with special thanks to Mohamed, who has managed to change our first bad impression upon arrival. Linen and towels very clean, smelling good and snow white due to the hard work of the riad's personnel.

We arrived at the riad at early evening and in order to get there, we had to walk our way through the Medina, the path a bit dark, narrow and scary, but we were later assured by a French couple staying in the riad that there was no danger in the area. We stayed in the riad for 6 nights, however, they forgot our reservation for the last night when we came back from the desert and asked us to go to another riad as they had given our room to someone else. Later on, after some discussions, they realized that they had made a mistake and gave us a (very bad) room, with leaks in the bathroom making it almost impossible to use the toilet due to the amount of water on the floor. They tried to compensate it by giving us some gifts, paying the cab to the airport and cutting the night rate to the half.

This was a beautiful Riad that allowed you to escape to peace and tranquility while staying directly in the Medina a stones throw away from all the hustle and bustle of markets and Jemaa el Fna square etc Staff were always on hand and happy to help! We loved it here and would definitely come back to stay again.

Riad Dar Ourika is a beautiful traditional escape from the hustle and bustle of the historic Medina, which is literally a 5min walk away. It is quiet and tranquil and the staff are happy and always on hand when/ if you need them. Our room - Rabat - was lovely as was the daily breakfast served. The only issue I think was that the main shower head in our bathroom didn't work. Though I note that we didn't actually say anything about this because there was a small hand held shower head we could use and we were only there for 4 nights! For the price we paid this was a wonderful place to stay and a bargain - I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

We felt really safe and comfortable in the location and riad, the staff were all very friendly and it was absolutely a great value for money. Room was air-conditioned and the place had a fantastic living area and roof terrace. Thank you so much - we will come visit again soon hopefully!

    Nothing! It was perfect.

Beautiful riad with nice small pool

We got the room at ground floor. The room, toilet, bed is too close to people who take a breakfast in the morning. It was really annoying for us even for them

Really pleasant place to stay. Room was comfortable and charming, the staff very very polite. We had a night porter Mohammed who was always in hand in the night if you are in need of anything.

It was a bit of labyrinth trying to find the Riad and was quite easy to get lost during your first day when your trying to get back during the night.

Our room (royal suite) was amazing, with its own little roof terrace and very high and ornate ceiling. Good breakfast with delicious pancakes.

The pool in the breakfast area is very cold and not that suitable for relaxing.

The staff were friendly, patient, so helpful and polite. The location is good. The decorations were nice & original.

The rooms are very small & not good value for the money, carry cash with you as the credit card system in Morocco in general isn't good so it is better safe than sorry. The maze to reach the hotel can be tricky, especially on the first day but people are friendly & will be willing to help you find your way.

Very good location, staff were fabulous. Loved the idea of a Riad as not sure what they were.

Not sure of the cats, one came in to our room and marked its territory!

The staff was very kind, hospitable, fair minder, and they do their work with Joy. Also, the riad itself was so beautiful. Great breakfast, beautiful rooms, nice showers.

There was nothing we didn't like. I hope to go back as soon as possible.

Classical Riad well located with very friendly staff. Excellent breakfast. The hotel arranged for us a car with a local company at a great value. The car was brough to the hotel and we could then deliver the car at the airport.

The pick up arrangement did not work out so well in two occasions. The company used by the Riad to pick up travellers from the airport not very proffesional. They were late and had not posters. Both my man and myself who arrived in two different flights had to call the Riad twice to find out what's going on. Better to catch a taxi to Sidi Abdelaziz and then call the hotel to pick you up.

The staff were really welcoming and friendly throughout the holiday! The breakfast was lovely and we were even able to have it on the terrace. We were also given mint tea and the odd cake or two on the house. Once we checked out they looked after our bags and let us use the facilities until our train. There was also chance that we would have had to extend our stay and when we explained this , the hotel staff were flexible and obliging. Overall the hotel was great value for money and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Beds a bit uncomfortable and room a bit noisy when it rained, but what can you do! It was still really lovely.
