Manager was very nice. We arrived too late at night and he took us to the Riad
Although accessed via narrow, dark passage from street, very clean, neat and picturesque riad once inside. Stayed in Izorane db room. Good wifi signal in room. Bathroom nicely laid out with partially enclosed shower, lots of hot water; man- sized towels incl wash mitts, floor mat. Queen sized bed, firm but comfortable, with extra blanket in large wardrobe closet. At least 3 outlets available for use for chargers etc. Great A/C. Next flight up is a nice sized very pleasant terrace to sit outside, with tables and chairs – can have breakfast here. Couple of padded sun loungers and an enclosed section with long sofas and a flat screen TV also on terrace. Breakfast included with room rate consisted of excellent fresh orange juice, otherwise only breads with jams/honey and a fried flat bread, plenty of good tea/coffee served 8;30-9:30am. As noted by others, no variation. Excellent location, 5 min easy walk to the main market square and inside Kessabine Souk. Riad offers tours/excursions bookings, and dinner @12 Euro pp although didn’t use either. Plenty of places to eat/drink very near including touristique larger restaurants/bars if desired. We found the only place to buy own liquor was Carrefour about 40 MAD petit taxi ride from the main square – once there, it is also a pleasant about 45 min walk back going thru the lovely landscaped shady Cyber Parc; arrows to main square easy to follow. Cost about 40 MAD petit taxi to train station also - 10 min drive. Definitely recommend Riad Pamella.
Minor: Only toiletry provided is small hand soap. Dim lighting in bathroom. No 'patio' from room as in N.Am. terms; only an opening window looking over the courtyard and door opening to hall overlooking courtyard. Up narrow flight of stairs so mobility challenged beware. No TV in room as listed – out for servicing we were told and not available for our 2 nite stay. TV on terrace also not working. Only about 1 ft of space either side of the bed; room relatively small, with a wardrobe available, but won't fit open mid-sized suitcase. Manager in charge spoke little English but very nice - there was usually someone about who could help.
I like almost everything to be honest except for the breakfast which is the same every morning. I expected a little bit of change. To overcome that, u can buy avocado just outside the riad for almost free. The place is clean, the Wifi was excellent. Adam and the other lady were helpful and can speak good english and french. I recommend this place....
The breakfast can be improved...
Everything. Only a couple of minutes from the main square, in the middle of all the action but no noise once inside. Perfect base to explore Marrakech.
Great location, RIAD with beautiful roof terrace, friendly staff
not all staff spoke English, last night our breakfast was forgotten as we had to leave at 7am the hotel; air-con was loud and not well adjustable
The Riad has a good location, although it's be hard to find the first time ( In Marrakech everywhere is hard to find in the Medina the first time). The staff were great, very friendly and helpful. I really recommend this place to stay.
Nothing, everything was perfect
Leuk personeel, die goed voor ons zorgde. Schoon.
Location is really good though first time you might get a bit lost. The staff was very nice and friendly. It is good value for money.
The only downside is breakfast. There were only 'sweet' things. Would be nice to have a bit of variation - maybe add some sort of cheese and some chicken/turkey breast slices.
Absolutely everything at the riad Pamela, staff couldn't be more helpful, the food wonderful. One of our best holidays.
The riad is in a perfect position, very close to the Plaze Jamaa el Fna, (attention, very difficult to find, because there is no sign in the main street). The service was excellent and the staff very kind and accomodating. Breakfast very tasty and abundant. We certainly suggest this riad
nothing, everything was perfect
Great location and price!
Nothing to report
The Riad is very close to the Jamaa el Fna which is within 10 minutes walk.
There is no name of the Riad in front of the door so it is difficult to find for first time visitors.
Only 5 rooms, quiet, friendly and helpful staff, only 2 mins from the main square, lovely roof terrace. Will do hammams on site if asked.
Breakfast only bread, butter and honey - could do with some cheese, salad, fruit, egg or similair. Difficult to find (not signed from the Main Street or at the door). You can only get the wifi signal in the communal area on the ground floor.
We found the Dar Pamela riad to be in a vey good location with welcoming and helpful staff. The house is decorated in traditional Moroccan style and very clean throughout. We would be very happy to make a return visit here.
Nothing I could complain about.
Friendly staff, good location near Djema El Fna Square, immaculate rooms, very quiet but I had an upstairs room...could be noisier if you stayed downstairs.
Breakfast, though beautifully presented, far too basic, for the price of the riad I would have expected more than just bread and jam.
Kindness of Adam and Djemila which had really taking care of us during our stay. Best location very close (5 minutes walking) to Jemaa El Fna place.
No possibility to pay by credit card. Only cash. It could become a serious problem for long stay considering limitations for cash withdrawal using ATM with Visa & Matercard.
It was the perfect riad to stay in for the week we visited Marrakech. Really close to the main square in the heart of Medina is the perfect location for experiencing the real life of old Marrakech. The staff was absolutely delightful and friendly, the riad is clean has all amenities even a spa that you can use. Decorated with Moroccan art, that gives it a specific local flavor. It felt like we stayed in a Moroccan palace. We loved our stay, and would go again.
Nothing I could complain about ;)
Very beautiful hotel with modern facilities such as TV and hair dryer! The owner is very nice.
The ambience in the Riad was lovely. Adam and thr lovely staff who were there were amazingly hospitable. The Riad is so close to the hustle bustle but is so peaceful and tranquil inside.....loved it thank you.
very friendly staff, extremely helpful nothing to much trouble. very clean and location good. petite riad but so peaceful. and relaxing.
Staff were lovely and polite. Rooms were cleaned everyday. Price was very reasonable Breakfast included
It could get very noisy at night, th e first 2 nights were lovely and quiet but from the 3rd to the 7th night from about 1am onwards it sounded like people were running up and down a metal staircase - for hours, but it was not in our riad it must of been one next door.
Staff is very helpful, location is excellent in the center of the Medina close to the souhks. Nice room with Wifi.
