The breakfast was amazing the receptionist did all he can to make my stay feel memorable

My room was downstairs and very near to the reception so the noise of people coming in and out was annoying

The staff are warm, friendly, and hospitable. The bed was comfortable - I slept like a log. The natural soaps for bathing were a plus.

There room was not sound proof; we could hear others' phone conversations, foot steps, and bumpy movements.

    Location, nice and helpful staff.

Small room, but in accordance to the price (and indeed it corresponded exactly to the photos) - what you see (and pay) is what you get and it is fair.

Very beautiful rooms and interior design, better than the pictures here. Very helpful good English speaking staff. Nice location in the Medina. Great breakfast! And the beautiful view from the terrace.

It's a bit difficult to find, so therefore check it out before you arrive.

Our third (and last) Riad in Morocco. And what a treat! The host Hamid was super friendly, speaks many languages and makes people feel at home here. The room was small but very cozy and beautifully decorated. The airconditioning worked very well and internet was stable and fast. The bathroom was in a different room but could be locked and was also very beautiful. A large mirror and fixed showerhead (the previous riads didn't have this!). Spacious, cozy, sheltered roof terrace was great for breakfast, afternoon tea and evening drink.

Can't think of anything that I didn't like in this place.

I stayed here for a stop over to catch a plane next day. Dar Rif definitely surpassed my expectation. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room was big enough with enough bathroom space and A/C. Wifi was strong enough in the room. There is a rooftop with a nice view. My room was right behind the front desk but it was very quiet. The location is very convenient wherever I go. I asked to arrange a taxi to the airport. It was 170 dirhams. It was the end of Ramadan celebration day but the taxi driver came 5 minutes before the promised time, and drove safely. It seems that Dar Rif has a good relationship with that taxi driver, very reliable.

There was no window in my room so it was a bit depressive.

Located in the medina, just behind the Continental Hotel. Very much on hand for the Petit Socco etc. This is a traditional medina house, so cool and dark inside but with two great roof terraces. Nice bed, good bathroom and air-con. Houda and Abdul and the ladies in the kitchen couldn't do enough for us and I was sorry to leave at the end. Breakfast, with fruit juice, coffee and fresh rghaif, was excellent.

    TV remote didn't work!

Everything! Great location in the medina and close to the beach. Beautiful, clean room even though it was small. Private bathroom across the hall was very clean and functional. Staff were wonderful and very happy to assist with whatever we needed.

Nothing, this was a lovely place to stay.

A place full of stories, the hotel an oasis of calm, cool and order in a chaotic city and mysterious. Receptionist: Houda, one of the most beautiful women found in Morocco, Abdoul one of the most enthusiastic and a poet of words. Deserves conversation with both

Missing view from the windows but that's understandable in that crowded urban...

Short taxi ride from the port. Very reasonable (2 euros). Great staff and very welcoming. A nice start to our trip to northern Morocco. Great terrace! Eat at Hamadi's (restaurant) if possible. Amazing decor, music and awesome food! The hotel restaurant is also quite good. Nice long walk in the Medina close by. Very fun! Zul & family.

Steep stairs to room, but staff helps with luggage, so manageable.

Exotic traditional decor right in the middle of the medieval medina. Breakfasting and suppering on the rooftop is wonderful.

It is hard to find and we were plagued by "guides" demanding a fee for unrequited services. So be prepared. Get a taxi from the port, or walk as we did but print out a map first, which we did not do, or have net on your phone to guide you with googlemaps. Girls, be prepared for men to make advances to you. Their attitude to women is not western.

We stayed here in a double room on the beginning of May. The staff is really helpful. He took us to a good reastaurant and helped us to go to Tangier Port with our luggage. The room is clean and has everything we need. The breakfast is pretty good!

We are satisfied the stay! One thing is that he staff said Tangier Port were 5min walking distance from the hotel but it took 10-13min to get there.

The location is super convenient to the port and a 10 Dh ride to the train station.(1$) the decor is awesome. The breakfast is very nice. Kamal who works the desk and kitchen and anything else you need. He speaks French , Arabic , and Spanish. Unfortunate if you don't speak any of the three bc he is a really great guy. Huda the girl who works there and speaks perfect English is also a pleasure and very helpful. I definitely recommend this hotel for anyone. Thanks so much to the staff ! Shukran Merci Gracias Thank you

The place is clean and friendly people.

Is not a fit place for people with claustrophobia , as well spaces being very small are very closed , they should be top 3 floors to get to the terrace and get fresh air . The bathroom has no door , which makes it a little uncomfortable the stay, instead there is a shower curtain that separates the bathroom from the bedroom , it followeth that incorporate sliding doors not to occupy more space . The bathroom only had soap for washing , no inluyen other utensils as shampoo and conditioner. In our case it was a martyrdom arrived, as it was our first visit and the driver left us elsewhere. It is recommended that your arrival to advise you how to get to attend . Additionally take a visit to Chefchaouen and Tetouan for the day , do not think that is a tour in our case we only had one market where we were taken to see a carpet salesman who insisted on showing us the places where dispatched its sales , additionally insist on taking to give him a price to pay for their goods , the problem is that if you do not speak Arabic or French conversation becomes tedious , because although they make offers in Spanish the rest of the conversation is carried on another language , resulting in unpleasant occasions because nobody translates what they are really saying. We insitimos they were not going to buy anything which they find it a bit odd as they make the comparison with other tourists ... Then we had a place of spices and that will end the visit to Tetoan . The next town was more pleasant to visit as it still is not as tourist and we were driven to the markets to buy .

Just fantastic. Two young people, working there with passion and love for their job. We actually feel at home. Both make everything for a convenient stay. Tasteful marocain breakfast served in the beautiful terrace overlooking the Tangier port. Clean Riad in walkable distance from the port. 10Min. Very close to continental hotel. Follow the signals.
