Friendly and helpful staff Lovely food - the best breakfasts we had in Morocco Good location for exploring Medina Tasteful and comfortable bedrooms
Great location, friendliness of Jamilla and the hotel staff, beautiful riad, simply and cleanly restored, amazing meals
The riad was beautiful and very modern and clean. We were served a fresh breakfast each morning and we also took the opporuntiy to have some of our evening meals at the riad cooked which were the best meals we had during our stay in Marrakesh. Jamila and her team were very attentive and always so polite and happy. They made our visit really comfortable and shared their knowledge of the area. I would highly recommend the Dar Rocmorra to anyone visiting Marrakesh and I hope to go back and stay at this riad in the future.
A sanctuary amongst the hustle and bustle of the medina. Wonderful breakfast
Excellent Food cooked by Jamilia, impeccable service, wonderful people working in the riad, comfortable, beautifully decoated room, witty and friendly other travelers, the genuine warmth of the owner Julie, superb location
Helpful and caring management and staff. Roses and rose petals. Beautiful place to be in. Good breakfast. No disturbance by traffic. Walking distance to main attractions.
Location fantastic - close to centre Amazing Food Service was perfect - nothing was too much trouble I would certainly recommend 10/10 - Perfect and we will return
Absolutely Nothing - a perfect location
Jamila, Jelil and Latifah looked after my daughter and I very well, personal service but very unobtrusive. Jamila gave us lots of advice on where to go over the Eid weekend that we stayed and cooked 2 excellent dinners for us. Jelil served us breakfast each morning on the terrace with a smile........
Some people may find the approach to the riad a little off putting as it is down a lane but we were assured it was safe and were not worried whilst we were there.
This is a lovely riad, very peaceful and relaxing. Maintained to a very high standard, good music, excellent food.
Very clean and comfortable rooms, excellent air conditioning. Staff were incredibly friendly, approachable and helpful. Food provided was ample and very good. Would highly recommend to anybody else traveling and will visit again if I travel back to Marrakech. The accommodation is relatively easy to access by taxi with a short 200m walk from the main street. The owners of the hotel are incredibly helpful and accommodating, they were really a highlight of the trip. All facilities were very clean and well presented. It is only a short walk down to the main square (Jamaa El Fnaa), however the hotel is very quiet and sleep was very easy.
Location Room, although described as bijou it was surprisingly roomy well decorated and finished to a high standard Quiet Professional staff Food was excellent
Nothing. No issues or problems whatsoever. 200 character minimum so now filling.
Beautiful Riad with lots of attention to detail. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great rooftop terrace and very good breakfast. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was easy to explore Marrakech from there.
Airport transfer a little bit pricey but worthwhile since it would be hard to find the place the first time on your own.
Friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful styling. Amazing food (especially the breakfasts) Very relaxing environment. We had a great time. Would definitely recommend.
We had a great stay at Dar Rocmarra. The staff is really warm and helpful. This small Riad has only 5 rooms, but they are clean and cozy (daily cleaning and fresh towels). It's within walking distance from the souks (main bazaar area) and Jamaa el Fna, the centuries old market square. The breakfast is great.
With only 5 bedrooms this delightful Riad was a quiet, cool, calm oasis in the bustle (and heat) of Marrakesh. The facilties were excellent, beautifully kept. The service from Jamilla. Jamil and staff was excellent. The Ryiad is really well located for visiting the city sights.
There was nothing, we knew we had the smallest room but it was perfectly adequate and we used the communal areas just as one would in your own home!
It was like a dream come true. Extremely nice staff, making you feel welcome and at home! Thank you Jamilla!
This is a beautiful small Riad away from the hustle and bustle of the city but close enough to walk. My daughter and I had a gorgeous suite. Breakfast was fabulous.
My one concern about the room was lack of auditory privacy. Instead of a real door, there was a rod iron door with a curtain. That meant that we could hear everything in the lobby, kitchen, and front door area, and they could hear us! We found ourselves whispering constantly. At the end of our six night stay, settling the bill was uncomfortable. I was unaware of some charges (I had asked in an email if pick-up from airport would have a charge, and I only received the reply that "our driver will pick you up", implying no charge, but there was). In addition, I was asked to pay 900 dirhams in cash for an excursion with the driver I had been using all along, even though the other days of driving I could charge on a visa. It was an odd request since most of the bill was charged, and I had to make a special trip to an ATM to get the cash. Not sure what that was all about, but it made me uneasy. In the future, I would book with a driver directly.
Great location. Wonderful building. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Would happily recommend.
This place was a great place to escape the craziness that is the Medina. Beautiful and hidden, every time we canme through the door it brought a smile to our faces.
Style, location, comfort.
The bathroom had no door, just a heavy curtain. We stayed one night, arriving in the evening, and wanted some time to see the city. Check out was at 12 next day, so we asked the manager if we could leave our baggage (two small cabin bags) and pick it up a bit later. She refused point blank, despite not having any other customers. The member of staff in charge of discharging us kindly gave us more time. Hence the "good" for staff. Otherwise it would have been "poor". We have never been denied this goodwill gesture at any hotel before.
Lovely, warm staff Beautiful building and grounds Clean rooms Delicious meals
The staff are wonderful, very helpful and very friendly. We were welcomed with hot mint tea and some delicious biscuits. The fireplace in the evening is great.
Can get a little bit chilly and damp during the time when we visited (February).
Booked a 4 night stay. The Hotel is tucked away in the back streets if Marrakech. The initial walk through the narrow alleyways to the hotel was initially a little disconcerting, however, don't let this put you off as once you open the door you enter a quaint courtyard with a water feature surrounded by rooms on 3 levels and a lovely roof top sun bathing area. The staff were very intentive and hugely informative. We were given a free upgrade to the suit which was fantastic. I am fussy but could find little to fault this ideal city break location.
The fumes from the log fire permeated throughout the building. Only a issue during the occasional winter evening when the fire was lit.
