Room spectacular Swimming pools great Hotel staff very friendly and helpful Shuttle bus driver excellent
Ridiculous times of the shutte bus. Would go back to hotel but sadly put off by expense of the city, feeling that we were being ripped off all the time and the quality of the food that we paid extortionate prices for.
The hotel had an ambiance of a private home. The sculptures in the grounds exemplifyed an international modern and traditional feel. So close to the center of Marrakech yet blissfully quiet and calm.
Poor internet access.
Set in the quiet plantation and surrounded by birds and trees the hotel offers peace from the chaotic city. The pools and gardens are elegant and intriguing. The staff very helpful and the spa calm and relaxing. I would recommend this hotel to couples who want to get away from it all.
Staff (so friendly and helpful) Service Indoor Pool Breakfast The free upgrade to Junior suite The giant Tub in our room fit all three of us every morning (our two year old loved it).
We came in December (off season) so the hotel was very very quiet. The weather was cold at night but the AC was capable of heating it up no problem. However, if you dont like to sleep in AC noise ask the staff for an electrical heater.
Hotel is beautiful
Wifi is poor, good network coverage but bandwidth is simply a joke. Works only early in the morning and slow.
Dar Sabra is unique in everything, the style of the place, the services, the location, every thing was just perfect. My wife and I used to say: we visited two places; Dar Sabra and Marrakesh.
It is better to arrange for transportation in your first arrival with them, or you need to use your google maps. The location is a bit difficult for taxi drivers.
We loved the fabulous decorations, the arts, the nice and individual furnished rooms, private large gardens under olive tress and palms, the different pools, tennis court, little sport studio and wellness... and the open atmosphere. Everybody over there where nice and friendly- so incredible helpful and congenial! And all that in english, fresh and sometimes in german language. A place for lovers, singles, families, children, younger and older people... A place to stay over night up to a week or even more.If you want to see Marrakech - you get fresh air and calmness in Dar Sabra... just a few minutes by car... And three times a day, the driver picked you up and attends you to the old or new city!Activities near by and easy to arrange...
We can not say that we did not like... A few little things could be more colorful... like the breakfast... more fruits and Tea from the area... or the dinner menu... we missed real Marrakech foot... A little shop ... or just a cabinet with most important things like tooth brushes or typical last minute things to bring home.....
This is an extravagant house in a very quiet environment. The accommodation is fancy and the staff is extremely kind, attentive and helpful.
Lovely tranquil place so relaxing. Great pool and staff couldn't do enough for you. Spa great and rooms are all amazing. We would definitely stay there again, great value for money, everyone there enjoyed there time there.
Quality of food varied from meal to meal depending upon the chef. Even chips were served under cooked in one meal. Food choice limited, breakfast menu should be expanded.
Styling was lovely. Open space and garden were very welcome after the busy medina. Our suite was amazing with it own private pool and garden.
Food was not good. Drinks were expensive
From the moment you enter Dar Sabra, the staff is extremely welcoming. Hassan and Denise were wonderful, warm, friendly and helpful! They helped us with excursions, reservations, transfers...whatever you needed, they went out of their way to make sure you were happy. The entire staff was great with children as well. Dar Sabra was like a quiet oasis away from the medina. Wish we could have stayed longer. Would recommend to everyone!
Nothing....loved everything about it!
Peaceful location, wonderful interiors and stunning architecture
Food was good but a bit more variety would have been nice.
Environment was amazing. Staff very very cool and great with children. Spa was gorgeous. Room was good.
Menu should be varied a little more - does not change daily.
Was all good actually , going back tomorrow
Fantastic staff - every single person was friendly and welcoming. The junior suite was the ultimate in luxury, absolutely amazing. We were treated like royalty and would have no hesitation in returning. Thoroughly recommended.
As Dar Sabra is situated on the outskirts of Marrakech and we were having a rest and relaxation break, we ate at Dar Sabra each evening. The food was good, but the menu limited with only one choice of fish and no vegetarian main course. The staff would have made something to order but it would have been nice to have a slightly wider choice.
