Score from 109 reviews Excellent
Beautiful decor, nicely furnished, large rooms, hot showers, very quiet, very friendly and helpful staff, great location just inside the 'blue gate' of the old medina.
An unpleasant smell in our room, maybe from the bathroom?
Fantastic riad in the medina, easy to find, very close to many points of interesse.I've spent 3 nights here and I could not have asked for better, the staff is sensational and one shall know how to make you feel like at home, breakfast excellent and abundant, comfortable beds and rooms very clean and spacious, well cared for even cleaning the laundry that smells as anywhere else, everything for a reasonable and honest price... if you go to Fes I recommend to stay here!
I highly recommend this riad. The lodging was clean with steady hot water supply and close to the center of the souk. The staff was very friendly and professional. I was so impressed that they responded to my inquiry about my lost item so responsively and timely and I could successfully retained it. When you stay here, you are in good hands.
The riad is perfectly located in the medina to be able to navigate both main streets. The staff were very helpful with anything we needed. The restaurant associated with this riad is a short walk away and was my kids' favorite place to eat in Fes. We would stay here again if we return to Fes.
Our only negative experience was with our medina guide. He became much less engaged once he figured out that we weren't going to buy anything from the places he took us (which were extremely touristy and priced higher than places we had already been). I had read this is common among the medina guides so I wasn't surprised--just disappointed. Our guide for our daytrip outside of the city, however, was great. He was very knowledgeable about his country and didn't include any high pressure places in our itinerary.
Beautiful Riad. Lovely helpful owner and staff, speaking english. We stayed with three adult and had a large room upstairs.
I wish we could have stayed longer. Tall people watch your heads, i placed scarfs by the doors/arch so we would not bang our heads again. Bedsheets are clean but I feel the blankets could do with a wash. Do not turn on the fan by the toilets it really stinks.
We arrived late on a evening and were treated with a fantastic welcome by the staff especially Idriss, Bushra and the lady who did the cooking. The room was beautiful with all amenities supplied. The terrace has a lovely view. And the whole riad is beautifully decorated in a traditional Morrocan manner. We were a family with young children and the staff were so good at interacting with the children and gave them a tour of all the different rooms in the riad. We left early morning and they left us all our breakfast on the table and especially thought of the children with the items they included in the pack. Definitely recommend this as location is right near food restaurants and off one of the two main streets that run right through the city. We would definitely stay here again. :-)
Perfect location in the old medina - so close to the Bab Boujeloud that we found it easily ourselves! Wonderful staff, especially Boushra and Idriss who are the most friendly people we met! They gave us great advice for food and provided a great official guide to show us through the medina. Rooms were spacious, clean and cute. Wifi worked quite well too.
Nothing - we stayed 3 nights and it was absolutely wonderful!
Location good , nice Riad hotel .. Thnxx to Hassim
Fes is beautifull but many fake guide around you . I dont feel well this time . May be hotel can give little information about Fes and that situation ..
The riad is centrally located between the two major streets of the Fes medina, meaning that all the major sites and shopping are right around the corner. The staff of the riad were always available for questions and to helo.
The first floor bathrooms have windows that open into the courtyard - pretty normal in a riad but still a little awkward if you're in one of those rooms.
Very good location. You can easily locate this riad in the medina. Hot water bath is good. Very big room. Great breakfast. Very nice staff. Great! Must choose this riad in Fes. You will have no regret.
Beautiful room with four-poster bed and heaps of character. Staff were helpful and welcoming and the riad is well located for shopping, dining and exploring the Medina. Two great cafes/restaurants just around the corner: Chameau Bleu and Cafe Clock.
beautiful hotel, good breakfast, friendly staff, very nice terrace
room was a little damp because of lack of ventilation in the shower
the stuff was warm and nice the rooms was nice and clean i got the room for my parents down as we asked the breakfast need to change a bit i would add more vegetables but maybe this is Morocco .
the breakfast need to change
Staff was very friendly, it seemed like we stayed at our family's or friend's house. Royal breakfast :)
Someone might find it difficult to find the place but if you stick to the map you will find it easily.
A very clean oriental and beautiful hotel of your Moroccan dreams. The team of Idriis is very sympathetic and help in daily questions in any kind! Espacially for pairs, the best deal!
Terrace is pleasant and room had more space than we needed
Staff very disorganized and only attentive when they wanted to sell something....cooking class, restaurant (with commission) etc. Owner Aziz was like person in big hotel -overly friendly because he has to be: not genuinely helpful.
Lots of noise and smoking in the central area late into the night, not peaceful at all. Flimsy doors on ground floor that did not close properly.
Clean rooms and lots of breakfast.
Electricity wiring in shower looks bit unsafe and the breakfast were 1 hour later than agreed.
Location and breakfast is good. personal is friendly
we were put in diffrent place at first night as our room was still occupied. that place was not as good as our original place. It was not a pleasent start, although employees did their best to recover afterwards.
Unbelievably helpful staff. Good physical structure. Equipe extraordinária, muito prestativa. Boas instalações.
Wi-fi gets weak outside the main courtyard, but that's commonplace in riads inside the medinas of morrocan cities. Probably because of thick walls. Wi-fi enfraquece bastante dentro dos quartos, com janelas fechadas, mas parece ser um traço comum nas hospedarias desse tipo.
Good experience. We departed really early and the staff left us out a take away breakfast. Good price.
Winter is pretty chilly in Morocco and the rooms are cold. Other places we have stayed in have small electric radiators or some kind of aircon heating. Nothing here; that said lots of blankets provided. The pillows in the large suite were awful. Large lumpy masses we threw on the floor. Being situated in the bazaar, a very easy fix.
The warm greeting and the excellent breakfast.
The staff were a bit preoccupied at times.
Very good location, breakfast was nice
Staff was like in a big hotel --> friendly because they have to. Room was small and the washingtable was lose. Shower was leaking ( the whole floor was wet when someone took a shower).
The staff was amazingly helpful and the breakfast was delicious. Great location and all around fantastic experience.
