We had a wonderful stay at Dar Victoria. The owner was delightful and helpful in directing us around the maze of Fes. Breakfast was delicious and our room was beautiful and comfortable. Directions on how to find the Riad would have been helpful before our arrival. Fes is not an easy city to navigate at first try!! |

This is an authentic Dar (a Riad without a garden) dating from about 1750. It has been lovingly restored, modernised and is beautifully presented by the manageress, Christine and her staff. Hospitality, in its original sense, is the key word here. This is not a hotel, there are no coffee making facilities, TV's, fridges, etc., in the rooms and there is no lift. If you want coffee or tea, at any time, just ask, and a member of staff will bring it to you, on a silver tray. If you require help with your bags, or anything else for that matter just ask. Breakfast and dinner are 'en famille' with the other guests, and gives everyone a chance to meet each other and make friends. The food is original Moroccan family cuisine and is first class. Breakfasts every day were different and it was always a delight to discover what was on the table each morning (home made beetroot jam for instance, wonderful). The peace and tranquility provided is sublime and Dar Victoria is without doubt one of the nicest places I have ever stayed in. |

The Dar Victoria riad was beautifully restored with all the original features carefully preserved - but the beds and bathrooms were all of a very high modern standard and comfortable + air conditioning in each room. The hotel is run brilliantly by Christine,a lovely French lady who designed all the wonderful menues and has made a different jam for every breakfast. Every night a different set menue with delicious salads and soups to start, followed by interesting and unusual main dishes and sweets. The staff were lovely and because the meals are eaten round a large table in the centre of the building one gets to know the other guests, which made for some very interesting evenings. A great place to stay. |

Gorgeous rooms, extremely clean, very helpful staff, would definitely go back and recommend it to my friends if they want a fancy riad I thought the in-hotel services were a bit too pricy |

El hotel esta muy bien situado, no tienes ningun problema para llegar andando a la medina. Esta decorado con mucho gusto, el hotel es precioso. Christine la dueña es un autentico encanto, si necesitas información o un guia o un conductor te lo proporciona, pero sin presiones solo si tu se lo pides. Si lo pides puedes cenar en el hotel, nosotros cenamos un cous-cous estupendo. Los desayunos son estupendos, tienen mermeladas variadas (limon, tomate, melocoton, fresa, membrillo....) tambien preparan un bizcocho muy bueno y una especie de creps o tortas que estan buenisimas, ademas de fruta, yogurt, cafe...Todo el personal es muy amable y te ayudan en todo lo que necesitas. La verdad es que es una elección estupenda para pasar unos dias en Fez. Nada todo me ha gustado. |

La squisita accoglienza della signora Christine e di tutto lo staff. Colazioni gustosissime con prodotti locali. Atmosfera e autenticità. Per raggiungerlo chiedere al tassista di portarvi nella Medina e di lasciarvi di fronte al Cinema Al Amal, il riad si trova a 100m. |

Absolutamente todo perfecto, el personal en general es encantador, extremadamente amable, nada es un problema, Christine te ayuda y aconseja en lo que necesites, el dar es precioso, la habitación decorada con muchísimo gusto, hasta el más mínimo detalle, muy bien ubicado, está a 3 minutos de una de las puertas de la medina y es fácil de encontrar. Desayunas de maravilla...Volveríamos sin duda alguna. La puerta del baño es de celosía, resta intimidad. |

Ein wunderschönes Riad in gut erreichbarer Lage in der Medina von Fez mit sehr persönlichem Service. Die Fenster des Zimmers Topaze orientieren sich zur Gasse und daher ist es abends und morgens ziemlich laut. |
