An excellent multitalent host in an inspiring Riad. Very nice rooms and excellent service.

We liked all of it. Our (bath) room was a bit smelly (sinks /sewage in an old medina probably.

Nice Dar in slightly outside Medina, but still very good location. Car park 200 m away.

This Dar has a good location inside Medina Fes-el-Bali, but at the same time easily accessable by car (100 meters from the car parking to the door) and has a car parking zone, thus being a good location for those travelling by car and rather easy to find. The Dar is owned and run by a very nice french woman, thus giving a kind of "european style of service" to whom it might be important, but the house itself is an excellent example of interesting moroccan design and architecture. The owner is very friendly. In general a very nice place. One more comment: pay attention (while choosing the room) to the information where the windows are orientated. Not every room description has this information (this shall be probably added). It is better to have the windows inside the courtyard, since if you have windows to medina street, street noise and kids' shouting will not let you sleep rather late. Windows do not prevent noise. I guess, the small Coraline room is cheaper due to this fact also. This is actually a common problem of many private mini-hotels in the medina, thus not being a defect of particularly this house.

The only thing I didn't like is a strange construction of the bathroom. A net-door do not isolate the pot from the wash-basin, and the threshold in the shower is made in the way not preventing the water to come out making it a little marsh. All the rest is good.
