Rooms were clean and comfortable. Lots of hot water. Space heaters and electric blankets were an added touch for the colder winter weather.

Safe, clean, fliers left in the room were very helpful, cooking class was fun, wifi was wonderful, breakfast very good, food very good and plentiful in the evening, all around i have no complaints!

From the moment I arrived I felt very welcomed. I was given tea and pastries on the roof top terrace which has views out towards Volubilis. I also arranged to have dinner at Dar Zerhoune, a chicken tajine which was outstanding. It was quite cold at night and the host at Dar Zerhoune turned on a small heater in my room along with an electric blanket so I would have a comfortable sleep. The service and quality of Dar Zerhoune was impressive, as was the location. I would recommend both Mouley Idriss and Dar Zerhoune without hesitation to anyone visiting Morocco.

I loved everything start to finish here. The beautiful decor, blending classic Moroccan style with modern simplicity, is superb, and the roof terrace, with stunning views of the town and surrounding hillside is spectacular. My room was large, with the best sheets I have had anywhere in Morocco, and incredibly comfortable. The black soap in the bathroom was a womderful touch. The caretaker here was incredibly sweet, from serving me mint tea and dates as soon as I arrived to handling my laundry, and fulfilling my request for a vegetarian dinner. The food was simple but delicious, and clearly prepared with a lot of love. I've been on th road for two months across Asia and Africa, and this was by far my favorite place I've stayed in this current runs of travels. I'm so excited to know that Rose, the owner, has plans for more inns in northern Morocco, with the next one slated for Fez. Can't wait to come back here!

The town is attractive and the hotel is well located We ate a good dinner there

The hotel is a walk from the taxi drop off point and we would have appreciated being met by someone from the hotel Instead we were picked up by a tout After staying elsewhere we did not think that the hotel represented good value for money

Clean rooms, comfortable beds, good value for money, great bedside reading lamps (a rarity in Morocco), location made it easy to walk about the town, lovely view from the terrace, delicious food, especially the evening meal, good directions on how to get to Moulay Idriss and map of how to get to the dar.

When the owner is not there, a hustler named Rachid is in charge. Be very skeptical of anything he says. He's the only one who speaks English. Our booking was apparently lost as he wasn't expecting us. As for the dar, the door to our room couldn't be locked, there were no windows to the outside so it was quite dark, just a curtain for a bathroom door, everyone can hear everyone else, but these things are typical of a backpackers' guesthouse.

The staff not well trained. Bed broken. House not well warmed. Not enough hot water....

Offer to buy wine and enjoy on terrace, cool rooms nice when weather outside so hot

Good location, great rooftop terrace with view over Moulay Idress and out to Voulbilis, comfortable lounge area. Hajiba cooked delicious food and went out of her way to make me welcome.

Only negative was street noise until late at night. But this is Morocco!

The staff is very kind, specially its owner that, even though she's not there, she's taking care of the arrangements by e mail.

the room was extra cold. It was winter and there was a heater and hot bottles but weren't enough. From my experience of travelling in winter in morroco,everywhere is like this.
