By the time we arrived, checked in and explored the hotel and grounds, lunch was no longer being served. I asked if there was any food available and was told there was nothing I could have, so I had to wait 3 hours until dinner was served. There is nowhere in the local area to buy any food. For the standard of the hotel I would have thought some kind of food service would be available between meals, even if it is just snack and fruit. Dinner was terrible. Very tough, inedible meat in the mixed grill. The noodles in the stir fry weren't cooked properly and were hard and the creme brulee was awful and none of our party of four could eat it. No other options for eating unless you hire a car. At 250 dirhams a head it's a lot to pay if the food isn't edible! Two of our party, myself included, had terrible stomach upsets after eating here.
Beautiful hotel in a beautiful setting with stunning grounds. Our party of four stayed just one night in rooms 4 and 5, which were huge with the biggest beds I've seen! We had a good size sitting area with large tv, and big bathroom and an outside area with table and sunloungers. There are lots of little areas in the grounds with chairs and loungers so you can hide yourself away from the world for a while! The staff are all very attentive and helpful. My daughter and I went horseriding at the hotels stables and had a fantastic time. We booked to go out for an hour and ended up riding for an hour and half, up in the mountains. Beautiful horses who looked after us well!
