The hotel itself looks superb throughout. Room facilities are excellent; absolutely no complaints about comfort and cleanliness. I got and excellent rate - €52. Location is excellent, with easy access to airport, and some good restaurants in the neighbourhood. My room was on the 5th floor but the noise from the basement disco was so powerful it kept me awake until 2 pm. Also the receptionist was quite curt in her replies to any enquiries. |

The room was quite spacious and there was a nice terrace. The area at the pool was nice to spend a quiet evening. Nice staff, very helpful. The hotel lacked some maintenance. There was a lot of noise coming from the street and although we were at the top floor, there was no way to sleep with the terrace door opened. There was no minibar in the room, and during the evening there was no service in the pool bar.... |

Stayed with my Mum for a week and had a wonderful time. The hotel is a bit of a faded beauty, but we had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The room had 2 double beds and the balcony with view over the pool was great. Super white clean sheets and towels. The swimming pool is superb, huge, very clean, loads of comfy sun loungers and huge parasols. Breakfast had a decent selection. The spa is lovely inside and the gym has new equipment. Small shop to buy water 5 mins walk. You can walk into town but it was so hot we took a taxi, never paying more than 30 dirhams, sometimes a caleche home for 40. The soft furnishings (curtians, carpets etc) are a little tired but it didn't detract from the comfort of the hotel. Nothing to do with the hotel but the taxi drivers outside are very cheeky, they can be a bit aggressive, will tell you that where you want to go is closed and suggest somewhere else (usually a shop) and try and charge you a fortune. Just be calm and repeat yourself till they "remember" it is open, we never paid more than 30 dh for any journey. |

Proximity to centre (cheaptaxis if you canavoid being ripped off). Very quiet. Clean rooms. Shabby exterior (pool), sorely needs upgrading. Poor and expensive food. Need to be attentive about change. |

The swimming pool was heated. Room service was almost impeccable. It used to be a nice hotel but it now looks 'tired'. Be aware of menu a la carte! I would say that in general if there is music in the restaurant the food will not be the best as you are actually paying for the musicians and not for the food. The staff pressurised the client to order lot of food. The staff forces you to order your dessert together with the appetizer and the main course. |

The garden and pool area is lovely and spending the day by the pool was a very relaxing experience. Most of the staff were very pleasant (although one of the barmen was a bit terse!) and the food was fine. The hotel is in a pleasant residential area and was walking distance to the centre of town although its a bit of a hair-raising walk in places cos of the traffic and diversions. This is obviously a hotel that was incredibly grand when it first opened and although still lovely they need to refresh it by buying new blankets for the beds (at present they are a horrible muddy brown as are the curtains), new curtains and generally making it a bit more chic. It wouldn't take much to do it. |

Helpful staff . The taxi driver who the hotel booked for me to go to the airport wanted 125 dirhams whereas the hotel had arranged it for 100 dirhams. The same happened when I booked a taxi for agreed price of 200 dirhams and found taxi driver trying to say fare was 400 dirhams at end. It would be best if hotel could keep recommended taxi drivers who do not act in this way!! |

This was an excellent hotel to spend a night before a morning flight back to the UK. Facilities were all you would expect from a four star hotel but at a fraction of the price. Though it was a new build the hotel offered a distinctive Moroccan character. Lovely bar and Moroccan restaurant. Service in the restaurant was rushed. Partner's main meal was served before I had finished my starter. We were not asked if we wanted dessert, just presented with the bill, which we had not requested. Door was closed very noisily behind us as we left. This was at 10.15 pm in a restaurant which is not supposed to close until 11.30. Breakfast was not good. |
