I liked the swimming pool facility and the garden. Breakfast was good served near swimming pool Room was warm and air condition was not properly functioning. When I ask to prepare air condition the receptionist indicated that cooling switch will be turned on in June.

Good location, and just far enough away from the old town to be an oasis. There are two parts to the hotel, the Es Saadi Palace being the other, and I felt that the photos and descriptions described and depicted the Palace rather than the Gardens & Resort hotel which is more of a 4 star hotel.

I found only one person ready to give proper answers and clear indications : the concierge ! The service is very poor : the waiters are bored by clients, the kitchens are noisy and too close of the breakfast places, the bees are annoying during breakfast in the pool area, service for the car is non existing when they are "car services" everywhere else... We just slept in the hotel : arriving late and getting out fast ! There was no access possible to the palace sport room due to a full reservation, but it was never mentioned during the reservation and no other option was offered to compensate ! The access to the spa (sauna and hammam) is not free when it is free in most 4 stars hotels !

I have stayed in Es Saadi for four nights (8-11 Nov 2012). It was enjoyable relaxing stay. Most I liked was the surrounding of the hotel where it was enjoyable to take a walk every morning. The path was surrounded by palms, olive and cider trees along with roses and many other shrubs. Breakfast was taken in the garden with good variety of selections. I found staff helpful and eager to asset when they understand your demand. Night sleep was comfortable and quiet. I will for sure stay in this hotel when visit Marrakech again. Everythings was good

It is well suituated and the wifi in the rooms works well. And the swimming pool is heated ! The quality of the ice cream they serve is not up to scratch for a quality hotel. I mentioned this fact to management

The hotel is fine. The only gripe is. I preauthorised my stay with a credit card but I wanted to pay by cash. However when I came to check out, they had already taken payment without my permission. This left me with £300 in Dirhams I then had to pay to change back to Sterling.

Hated the hotel. The hotel shows Photos of the palace and not the actual hotel. They are separate buildings and you cannot go into the pool area of the palace which is obviously much nicer. It is very misleading. You think you are booking one place when in fact they put you in another with a smaller pool and smaller bar. I had booked a room with extra bed for child and although my booking confirmation gave me the final price, when I went to pay I had to pay extra for the bed. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. I had stayed at the golden tulip hotel in Marrakech before this one and all in all it's a 1000 times better and cheaper!

Did like the location - hotel is equally close to medina and new district. Concierge was good recommending nice restaurants. Casino on the territory of the hotel complex was nice. Hotel is a bit dated overall, but with good up keeping. The main concern is that Es Saadi palace (really new and luxury hotel) is on the same territory and occupies most part of it, so if you stay at gardens&resort it leaves you with small piece of place just around pool. Breakfast is also 4 star.

Thera aren't any real pros and cos to point out. It's a 5 star Hotel a little passed its time, but still, its confortable, with a nice swimming pool, good food and friendly staff. Nothing really impressive, though.

Room was comfortable, clean and light. Grounds are extensive and beautiful. Pool was large and clean. Spa facilities were good. Breakfast, included in room price, was excellent. Staff was responsive and helpful. Hotel was relatively empty at the time we visited so perhaps the service might not have been quite so responsive if they were busier. 15 minute walk from Jamaa el Fna. Their recommendations of restaurants leaned towards the pretentious and overpriced.
