Room size, service at check in, room comfort and cleanliness. Helpful staff, good breakfest spread, good pool and ground. Good spa service,
Location was perfect. Close to souk shopping and great restaurants. Gorgeous pool. Hammam treatment and massage in spa was world class. Staff very attentive. Truly palacial hotel. We travel all over the world and this stay ranks among our best ever.
no complaints whatsoever!
Beautiful grounds and room Amazing pool Attentive staff Proximity to restaurants/bars and the main square Nice welcome when we arrived (tea and cakes!) Breakfast - fabulous selection
Air-conditioning not very effective in room Limited restaurant choice at resort
Hotel facilities ,staff, pool bar staff excellent, room excellent a few minor points but overlooked by overall stay.
Poor Wi Fi Connection sparodic at the best of times tea and coffee machines not available in suites :-(
Large spacious rooms. Free taxi for return journey to the airport. Large selection of food available at breakfast. Attentive reception staff.
Few other guests made the atmosphere seem rather soulless. More staff than guests.
The pool was clean. The breakfast was superb. The staff was so nice. The grounds are beautiful.
They didn't have an iron so you have to pay for your clothes to get ironed. And they don't have clocks in the room. We never knew what time it was.
The pool is outstanding. The hotel is an enormous, cool, haven of tranquillity safely away from the craziness of the medina and yet a 20 minute walk. Breakfast superb - fruit juices freshly squeezed. Rooms are enormous and gorgeous.
Installations Staff at Egyptian bar was fantastic
Staff at the pool was not friendly nor willing to work. Took over 1 hour to have some sandwiches delivered.
Pool service and facilities excellent food in restaurant very good and staff attentive
No toilets on ground floor difficult for those with stair problems. Limited choice for evening eating. No non smoking areas in particular in eating areas.
Superb swimming pool in large grounds. Access to the spa included with room. Friendly helpful staff.
Had to chase from time to time to get certain housekeeping items attended to.
The location is very good.
There was some noise from the renovation and I couldn't sleep well. The hotel is pretty old. The door key can get impossible to fit in the hole! It was very annoying and I don't drink. I can't imagine a drunk person trying to get in her/his room in the middle of the night!
Very nice hotel. I recomend it. Good location and good staff
Very nice rooms in palace, beautiful garden with pool. Very helpful staff.
- Some of the rooms in house nr 3 of Es Saadi palace are below the dinner restaurant/2nd floor (noise around 10/11 pm) or above/close to the breakfast terrace (cleaning noise at 4 or 5 am in the morning) so try house nr 1 or 2. - Very busy traffic on road outside the garden, much less noise on ground floor level (although then without mountain view)
Fantastic hotel fantastic staff booking to go back ASAP
Great hotel with peace and quite.
In the evenings the bar was deserted!
Pleasant friendly staff in common areas , pool etc ..
No organisation at Breakfast - staff running around aimlessly as there is no supervision of staff duties .
The pleasant way of life in the luxury surroundings. Nice rooms with excellent service.
The sauna and steam baths were not in proper working order
I loved everything! the entire experience was luxurious and free of any commonplace hickups. I was visiting for business but ended feeling like I was on a luxury vacation instead!
The SPA's dressing room for ladies smelled quite badly both times I was there. The rest of the SPA experience was great, so fixing that problem would make the whole thing a dream!
Staff charming and helpful, spa pool, size and comfort of junior suite, delicious food - all absolutely brilliant!
To be honest, I found the hammam massage very rough, so not really relaxing. Felt like a piece of meat being pounded on a slab!
- I absolutely loved everything about this hotel!
Suite was fabulous, spacious snd comfortable. Daily maid service excellent. Loved the spa and had several treatments there; great spa staff. Good breakfast buffet.
Concierge staff not at all helpful. We either got wrong information or none at all. Front desk staff very unfriendly. Pool waiter tried to cheat us on price of water even though price listed on menu. They pretended it was misprint on menu and wouldn't back down. I complained to manager and got our money back. Ate dinner at poolside restaurant one night and ordered 'gnocchi' with 4 cheeses for 200 dirham (about $25 or 18 Euros). Turns out this gnocchi was shell pasta from a box! Told waiter and he argued it was gnocchi! I wouldn't have minded paying that price for real hand-made gnocchi, but this was a serious misrepresentation. I am surprised that a hotel purporting to be such a high caliber would allow these sorts of breaches. Train the staff better and don't offer menu items that you don't have. Breakfast staff slow and inattentive with getting coffee, utensils and napkins for us. Found fly in coffee jug our last morning.
