- The text in The Booking.com ad (unfortunately this consisted entirely of lies) - Carrefour is nearby (unfortunately bought food cannot be prepared or eaten because of the lack of cutlery and the non-working cooking panel in the filthy kitchen)
The worst experience in an accommodation I have ever had. At booking I was charged 50% of the price and upon arrival it became clear why: - no air conditioning - no sea view - no towels (we borrowed 2 damp personal towels from the concierge) - no bed linen - leaking bidet - the apartment was very dirty and full of ants - this '6 person apartment' was suitable for maximum 4 people - the 'fully equipped kitchen' consisted of dirty dishes, namely, 4 plates, 3 forks, 1 knife, 1 spoon, 4 glasses and a pan too filthy to touch. While the grease-covered cooking panel did not work, the apartment smelled of gas. Upon arrival we were not shown the room and had to take the laundry of the (friendly!) concierge out of the washing machine. When we informed the owner of the shortcomings, he only demanded that we pay MORE that the remaining sum (as mentioned in the booking) immediately. When he unexpectedly came to the apartment the next evening, he summoned us back from a trip to Casablanca to demand money. We agreed to meet him at 10 the next morning. At 8 in the morning we were lifted from bed by a man storming into the apartment and shouting at us in French. He demanded money and claimed that we were 'crazy' to expect the apartment as described in Booking.com and that it is common not to provide towels, bed linen and kitchen equipment. We were given 5 minutes to leave without the return of our payment. Avoid this place at any cost.
