Excelent location (near to jemaa el fna), very friendly and helpful staff, nice rooms and good breakfast! Highly recommended.
Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Good location and the cleanliness of the room was good. The airport pickup arranged by the Riad at a cost of 20 euros saved any hassle.
We had a bedroom on the ground floor next to the courtyard which was also the lounge/seating area. Inconsiderate guests talking very loudly disturbed our sleep late one night. We had dinner at the Riad on the first night. The starter and dessert were not as promised in the confirmation email. The chicken tagine was small and overcooked and we did not receive the promised mint tea and pastries. I think the kitchen was eager to close. However at 20 euros each plus 18 euros for a bottle of wine I think it was overpriced and not good value.
We were very very welcomed by the receptionist who explained us everything about the city and gave us really nice tips! Also, welcoming Moroccan Tea was a plus!
The staff were really attentive and friendly. Although it rained a lot and the water reached the room slightly, just making a part of one of the walls a bit wet, they gave us a new room as soon as we mentioned it. Nice design, breakfast on the roof terrace and a nice lounge for relaxing.
The only things are the wifi was sometimes not very fast, but worked well enough. Get a transfer to the hotel as it is hard to find using maps because they are all small streets, but it is in a great location. I felt safe.
Really loved this hotel. The guys that run it are professional, friendly & caring. The quality of the breakfast and Dinner was fantastic. Can not find fault.
Sometimes the toilet smelt but they are aware of this and have candles burning lovely smells to compensate. You are in a very old part of Marrakesh.
Nicely designed and good location near the square
Breakfast consisted mainly of sweet things a bit disappointing
Staff was very nice. The hotel is very close to El Fna, breakfast was very good, the room was very clean.
It was a bit noisy (walls/ceiling not well isolated).
The location was perfect, right in the middle of the busy Medina and yet incredibly peaceful. The beds were so comfortable I passed out within seconds!
everything is nice
Very nice staff, great location and a good rooftop terrace that you can just chill. They greeted us with some complimentary mint tea and made us feel comfortable.
In Medina, it is difficult to find your way to hotel on your first day, make sure you ask the staff which streets to take before you get there.
Ground floor drainage problems. Not solved by staff. Inconsistent hot water temperature. Airport transfer a potential problem - not an official taxi (insurance?) - excessive charge (€20) - baggage porter (not needed in our case with only hand luggage).
This was a very nice place to stay although I was only there for one night. I came in after a long 3 day bus tour over to the Sahara and back so comfort was important. This is very much a spa place which I didn't get to take advantage of on my short stay. The breakfast on the terrace was very delightful. I might even say gourmet. The desk clerk was very eager to make sure that I was comfortable and taken care of. Good English speaker which I really appreciated.
Very minor things. It was down a long alley with several turns. I had to stop at another Riad to get directions. The sign on the door didn't stand out much but that is par for Morocco. The internet WiFi wasn't working for me but I think the entire city internet was down due to the holiday.
The location, staff and facilities at this road were all of a very high standard
The raid is a modern interpretation of a traditional theme and whilst perfect in every way, that perfection actually worked against the establishment. I personally prefer the more traditional theme found in the majority of raids. Not a fault as such but just a personal thing.
The hotel was lovely and the staff very helpful. The location was great and we were able to walk everywhere we wanted. The breakfast was also delicious. We would definitely stay here again.
No complaints at all!
- Welcoming, friendly staff. - Nicely decorated, romantic looking interior and roof terrace. - Peaceful oasis of quiet in the middle of the busy city. - Location is excellent, though you'll need some help (and some dirham) to find it. - The suite is wonderful, well worth the extra price. The other rooms seemed small. - Great, proactive assistance with medical issues. - Amazing breakfast. Loved the different items every day. - Advice and reservations for excursions at the reception.
- Not too upfront about prices; - Jacuzzi not clean (though its sound in the background was very calming); - Phone misplaced on the roof terrace was not returned until we asked about it.
Excellent location in old part of city friendly helpful staff
Would not have found only we had booked transfer from airport
I love everything about this riad. The riad is like a big spa where you will feel relaxed the minute you come in with the scent and music to accompany you. The location was great. It was near the plaza but just enough distance to have a quiet night's sleep. Breakfast was superb. I love that they have a map of the medina and tips on how to move about marrakech. Staff were nice and courteous. Would love to come back for sure
Wonderful staff-courteous and helpful Excellent bed, airy room(we had a junior suite) quiet air/con.and good bathroom with separate toilet facility. Lovely roof terrace and good breakfast. Would thoroughly recommend as excellent value for money.
Difficult to find at first, but really very close to the main square and souks...just a 5 min walk.
I liked location, room, staff and breakfast!!! Everything was just very good!
Nothing really to add.
Rooms very clean and modern. Staff very friendly and helpful. Hot tub on roof top. Good breakfast. Excellent location in middle of Medina. Me and a friend used the Hammam and had a massage which was very good.
Customer service cleanliness Food (each morning a different breakfast, and the dinner we ordered) Furniture JACUZZI :)
The position is perfect to reach Jemaa el fna or any other attraction in the city centre. But the first day it was difficult to come to the riad, but hopefully we found a lot of guys giving us directions.
staff, hosbitality, understanding.
The room was small but cosy and, most importantly, very clean. We didn't hear any noise during our stay although it was a very busy riad with lots of people going in and out. The location was perfect; close to Jemaa el Fna but still far enough to not hear the music and people at night. Staff were friendly and we loved the tea, almonds and biscuits we were offered upon arrival.
The food wasn't that great. We had dinner on our first night there and we had the chicken tajine - the chicken was overcooked and therefore really dry. Breakfast was ok-ish; the rolls, bread and pastries were also extremely dry but we liked the fresh fruit juice. We also didn't like the fact that the waiter literally asked for a tip for him and the cook while we were still having breakfast.
I can't fault anything about this hotel. It has an excellent location 2 minutes off the big square; our room (a superior double) was very pleasant, comfortable and well equipped: the hotel has a very nice roof terrace open day and night (where breakfast is also served) with pot-plants, shade, a decent jacuzzi, sun loungers (and hats!), cushioned seating, etc. Breakfast is delicious, elegantly presented and freshly prepared: freshly squeezed orange juice, yoghurt, fresh fruit, fresh bread, jams and different freshly prepared pastries/crepes each day - and it's offered from 8.30-11 to cater for all needs! There's an on-site hamman offering excellent scrub/massage services at reasonable prices; and a tremendously quick (and cheap) laundry service. Last but not least, the owner and staff were without exception extremely friendly and helpful and the place just had a nice, home-from-home atmosphere, with excellent attention to detail. I wouldn't hesitate to return to this hotel the next time I visit Marrakech, nor to recommend it to others.
One lady and one gentleman at the reception were great and very helpful. (the lady always smile which is recomforting after a long day being cheated by local vendors)
The bathtube was hot and didnt seem too clean. Very hot on rooftop too.
