This is a great location! It's located next to the train station, also has a taxi stand so you can literally grab a taxi anytime you want. And the beds are amazing. Excellent value for money.
One minor thing: breakfast was rather limited and is definitely something that could be improved.
Location is perfect, good for late train
We really appreciated the breakfasts - a good range of choice and we loved the local breads and coffee. The pool was very much appreciated as well. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
We didn't try the other meals on offer as we felt they were a bit pricey compared to what was available outside.
Great location. Efficient hotel and staff were helpful.
- next to the Train Station - relaxed Pool / Garden Area - Bar Staff very friendly - one german speaking TV channel
- Breakfast closes more or less 30 Minutes before as advertised. We needed to ask for new Glasses and Soup Bowls, Tea was empty and they refused to refill it etc... Not worth the money. - the german speaking TV channel was RTL
Wifi works in bedrooms.
Extremely unhelpful staff. At 6pm, a whole long queue of taxi were waiting outside the taxi stand (literally just outside the hotel), the receptionist told us they might not be taxi the next morning. We said we needed to get a taxi at 5:30am in order to catch the flight. He said, there won't be any taxi and he can't book a taxi. I asked if he could just go outside and ask one of the taxi driver if they would want to pick us up if we pay extra money. He said no, he refused to leave the reception nor asking for his colleague to help. We said, "we will miss our flights because of no taxi, please do something". He reply he is not the person to ask, we said "please find that person". He then called someone over the phone. He then told us there would be taxi outside the stand at 4pm 5pm 6pm. We said "No, we want a taxi at 5:30am". He then said, there will be taxi outside but he can't book a taxi nor go outside to ask a taxi driver ( I was willing to pay 40euro for that 15km ride... it is usually 200MAD). Then we trusted this Ibis staff, and we were outside the hotel at 5:30am, NO TAXI at all. That person lied, and the receptionist at 5:30am was a different person already. This is absolutely ridiculous! If a riad could arrange a taxi why can't an INTERNATIONAL HOTEL do the same. We were waiting and knowing if we missed this flight, we would have to wait for 4 more days in order to catch the next flight. Perhaps that's exactly what Ibis wants. I will never ever stay in ANY Ibis hotels anymore. The bedroom was smelly. It was the A/C that produces bad smell (smells like something in between rubbish and durian). In a few words: A riad is better than this.
Location near the trainstation. Near decent restaurants with low prices. (Try Aladino for instance). Easy to get a taxi to the medina (less than MAD 10 per ride) A very nice garden with swimmingpool.
Our room needed some work. A very shabby carpet. The music in the garden. It would have been nice if it has been quite in the afternoon. If you pay with a creditcard you agree to a different currency conversion plus a mark-up rate of 3%. This is not told and you will find that out on your copy AFTER you have paid. On this copy your acceptance automatically has been filled in. It's not about a lot of money but it certainly is not the right way to do.
Location, swimmingpool, quiet in the big city
Just a little bit friendly
The hotel is much better than expected for the price. The room was comfortable and spotlessly clean. They have a lovely swimming pool with nice gardens
There wasn't anything we didn't like
Location very good. very affordable. Good comfort rooms.
I found way too many hair around room and bathroom.
I liked the fact that is located next to the train station, so if you need to leave early is a good option. The rooms are clean and comfy, internet works very well, so for the money I paid I got a pretty good deal.
Is not very close to the Medina, but then again part of the experience in Fes is to talk to the local people.
The gardens were beautiful, no time for the pool though! Location is awesome, right beside the train station, easy in and easy out!
Wish the breakfast was included, would have made the stay more cost effective as there were Not a lot of options close to the hotel.
Generally good overall, esp the restaurant staff, one tall thin old man, probably in his 50s very warm and wanting to do his extra bit at breakfast.
The young stocky reception manager, 5'7", in his 30s was rude and totally unprofessional. Unwilling to help, no smile. Very evasive and smug. His young female trainee/assistant (fair skinned) just as apathetic. These 2 individuals, esp the reception manager shamed the hotel as I noticed the manager was as disconnected with other guests.
The beds were super comfy, great pool and facilities. It was clean and super close to the railway station
The staff were a bit slow in the restaurant and at the front desk but we had no problems as such.
Swimming pool. Close proximity to the station. Taxi to the medina costs only 10 Dirhams. Great buffet breakfast.
Location, and with a comfortable bed.
Smokers in the bar. No fridge in room.
the location as i was travelling by train ,just few yards from fes's main train station .the security guard ( with glasses ) was delivering a first class customer service .
i was asked to pay the full amount on check in ,though my booking was secured by card !! so not being able to charge meals and bar to account was disturbing .breakfast too basic for a hotel ,the beef i had for dinner was full of fat !! the shower enclosures had a gap too big to miss noticing .needed to be repaired before being sold as the water escaped everywhere .
Location Comfort breakfast
Staff not very helpful in guiding tourists No map facilities No excursions either available at hotel and staff not helpful in guiding
Nice room, clean and practical.Swimming good.Next t train station.
Breakfast not bad
AC was not functioning well
the location and the back garden
the sleeping and bed, the small size of rooms, bar & restaurant, the parking and those beggers who installed their illigal barrior at the parking, waiting asking for money every time we go in or out. we didn't know how to keep lot of change for them at all times. The place is dead and has no life in it. It needs a proper management which understand the hotel and catering business.
Easy access from train station, to taxis and restaurants
Clean linens and cleaning services weren't available due to hotel shortages
Close to the train station Quiet Good pool
