garden and pool
I liked how close the horel was from the train station
The bathroom was dirty and not ready when i checked in. There was not towels in the bathroom. The bed/s were not made and the sheets and the pillows had stains.
This was a highlight of our trip. The bed. The bed was really comfy and warm.
Standard of services for IBIS
The counter staff services has room for improvement.
The location was good in the sense that it was just a short taxi ride to the medina
The reception not very friendly. Bathrooms had faint sewage smell. Never enough toilet paper. No hand towels. Was my first stay at an Ibis, the price was much too high for what i got. Will not recommend staying with them. I won't do so again
the closeness to the trainstation
there was no tea or coffee that I could have and I had a bad cold
Disappointed whit the managers so i don't like nothing on my stay at the hotel
The managers are rude so no more next time in this hotel againg
Very clean, had all i needed
Did not go to Fes due to illness. Had for the 2 nights anyway.
The WiFi worked in the rooms, the staff were fun and friendly, it's literally right next to the train station, very comfortable and clean
Food at the hotel is very expensive and there aren't many places to eat nearby so you're kind of stuck
Good Staff, great location.
Check in process is a bit slow, I found ants in my room!!! Like everywhere, it's on the 1st floor, not on the 0th floor(which is normally the ground floor), Even I booked a non-smoking room, I was given a smoking room. Comparing to local price, it was a bit more expensive.
Friendly staff, just it
Freezing, rooms are too small and dark,
Location next to train station.
The room had ants and the room was crowded, i was alone and they put two single beds which gave me no space in the room.
The hotel was clean, the room was spacious with a nice terrace and a lovely view. Wifi was available and working perfectly. Overall, nothing to complain about.
proximity to the train station outdoor pool
breakfast was not included in the room rate so we had had breakfast at the Venezia at the train station for less than the hotel was charging. The staff at the reception were not very helpful and didn't appear to have much interest in or experience with international travellers. The hotel did not have a map of Fez which was a disappointment since we did not have one ourselves. The front desk couldn't recommend any restaurants in the area. Nor could the manager. The decor at the reception was dull looking and the bar area was frequented by men. I don't think a woman would have felt comfortable sitting at the bar.
This is not the most glamorous part of Fes to stay (a guy offered us hash on the way to dinner), but it was perfectly fine for us, arriving back from Tangier by train and taking a flight out the next day. The place is a little tired (especially the bathroom), but for the very low booking price, it represented good value and was far more comfortable than a more expensive dar we stayed at in the Fes medina earlier in our trip. The taxi to the airport was reasonably priced (about 18 euro, for memory).
On checkout, the guy tried gave a dodgy currency conversion from the price in euro on the booking confirmation. I pulled him up on it and he revised it down to what it should have been. Despite requesting a quiet room, we were given a room overlooking the train station entrance, rather than the internal garden. The room was quiet enough though.
Good location Wifi good yard
withn one week i stayed there, the floor of my room were not mopped, only vacum cleaned. prices in the restaurant are rather expencive compared with other sam type places.
Poor customer services
The pool is great
The slight sewage smell in the bathroom
Garden and pool are beautiful. Rooms are solid.
The staff knows how to be inaccessible, but manager fix things.
Good Parking and security for a large van. McD's and Pizza place just 1 minutes walk away. 5 minutes from the motorway. Very good alround.
Great location, just steps away from the train station. Taxi stand is also few steps away. The staff seemed helpful.
Unclean room. We could sometimes smell cigarette smoke coming from the A/C vent and the A/C itself was ineffective. The breakfast option was not great, with flies / bees everywhere near the 'sweet' foods.
Hotel charged my credit card, but at reception, they tried to charge cash again... We hardly could agee about the price at we booked 2 nights..reservation number didnt mean anything to them..
+ Very close to the train station + Nice and clean, big rooms + Very close to the mall in Fes. You have to see the mall, it is an experience in itself! It was great to see how Moroccan people still try to learn 'how to supermarket'
- breakfast not that great
