I am about to say EVERYTHING! A pity as we, my family and I, used to love staying at this place.
The rooms are falling apart. The beds, bedding and so on. Still one of those old TV sets that people have started throwing away in the country. The mattresses differ from one room to another, which gives an idea where they have been purchased, probably. (We had two communicating rooms!) The beds are surprisingly TOO HIGH to sleep comfortably and safely.
The rooms are badly done, and the floors not swept daily. ONE toilet paper roll for TWO people a day. The towels are getting thinner and thinner.
Breakfast is almost invisible. Nothing to compare with that of, say, two or three years ago. Too meagre for five Euros, when, as we discovered, you can have a copious breakfast for just DH22, not even TWO Euros, in a fancy coffee shop a few yards up the little hill, quantity and quality ahead. To make it worse, the coffee machine broke down, and back to those archaic pitchers...
The prices on the Internet and those at the counter DIFFER. I had booked for 2174, and had to pay 2184 plus the daily individual Euro. Breakfast is DH55 on the booking site, and DH59 at the counter ...
To sum it up, we SHALL NOT GO BACK AGAIN!
Just the fact that the staff DO NOT SMOKE anymore in the lounge and other parts of the hotel, as they were doing just a couple of months ago.
