Go in the summer months if you prefer fewer tourists, we were the only guests and were told to treat the riad like our house by Imad, which was lovely! Also a very nice terrace and refreshing pool, and a great location in the medina and close to the main square.

Down quite a dark alley, which wouldn't be so nice if you were alone, but it was fine really!

It is an amazing Riad at the top location-in the medina itself, at the same time it is on small and quit street, which allows the guests to relax on the roof terrace.

The signs pointing towards the Riad were not very clear

Great location, friendly staff and lovely breakfast

Booking hadn't been received by the riad so there was a bit of confusion when we arrived, also we were made to check out early.

Yassim at the front desk was very helpful and attentive, as were the other staff. The riyad was beautiful, and the room was attractive.

Though we ultimately had a simple and late breakfast on-site, when we checked-in the previous afternoon, staff walked us 5 minutes to another (attractive, granted) riyad, and a few flights up of stairs to the roof, where we were told we were to have breakfast the following day. The riyad is in the medina, but past some windy, unpopulated alleys to get to it (fine for daytime but my friend & i decided to stay in at night), moreso than another riyad we stayed at at the beginning of our trip.

-Great location close to the Djemma el Fna square. -Comfortable and clean rooms. -Staff were friendly.

-Breakfast was fairly basic and some days not everything was available (I believe this was because the riad was virtually empty and they weren't prepared to get more in just for us). -Hot water ran out pretty quickly (about 5 minutes) although water reheated after a short break. -Staff were often hard to find to ask questions or even pay up. It also very much felt like we were not valued customers because we were not eating and drinking in or using the riad hammam (ie. spending a lot more money). For example, when a large group arrived who did eat dinner in the riad, flowers suddenly appeared on the tables and wood fires in the communal areas. Also see above comment about breakfast.

-Shower always had warm water -Good location for souks (but remember to mark the location on a good map before you arrive - look for the green signs for the riad) -Nice sun terrace

-Breakfast was basic -Earlier breakfast requested on the day of the half-marathon but the manager forgot to leave it out -Resident dog pooed in communal area and on communal sofa on 2 out of 3 mornings (it was removed but not cleaned before customers used it!) -Manager was not helpful (unlike the fantastic/friendly service we have received in other Marrakech riads on previous trips) nor would he accept responsibility for, or try to rectify, his shortcomings -3.5% charge for credit card and no change provided for cash in any currency (including Moroccan dirham!)

A very traditional Riad and friendly personnel

The owners have an old dog who cannot control its needs and uses the carpet in the lobby to satisfy them

    Charm of interior courtyard

Shower is weak and a little on the small side but not a disaster. Location was okay but it's a good ten minutes to get to the Medina. Not horrible but again, would have preferred to be closer to the action.

Beautiful and quiet riad, minutes away from the busy Jamaa el Fna. The staff at the riad were wonderful, especially Aimad who was very helpful and always ready with additional information, recommendations and little tips that made our trip more enjoyable. Although the breakfast was a little bit scarce, other services such as massage were delightful!

The breakfast - not a lot of choice (fruits, cake and pancakes which were microwaved and dry)
