Only the swimming pool is amazing and huge. A/C is very weak in both rooms we booked and almost not working. The electricity got cut twice at night for 1 hour each time and could not sleep at all. Boring and empty hotel. No minibar and fridge was not working. The safe is locked. Tv is from 80's and 4 local channels available. Breakfast is very poor. Furniture is too old. Trust me don't chose this hotel unless you want to swim there only and sleep some where else.

Nice rooms, and good breakfast The staff not overly friendly and we could not get a double bed had to be twin room and the impression was because we were not married. Bar and room service was extremely overpriced

Good-size room with balcony. Quiet, away from traffic. Gym and pool seemed good (too cold to use!) No heating in winter. No list displayed for meals or other services. Staff refused to phone for a taxi when we checked out.

The old spirit, the big gate, the lovely garden and the friendly staff The hotel is like a smoke funnel. Because of the any-where-smoking policy, everybody is smoking every sort of stuff inside the hotel. My son and family were coughing most of the time. The hotel staff were not able to help with this as they have no smoking Vs non smoking rooms. This was one of the hotel's biggest minuses.

Nothing apart from the location. Staff asking for money. Bathrooms and rooms need to be redone. Long wait dor check-in. Minibar empty... You need to call to order something to drink. In general, the hotel should not be more than 3 stars.

This place should have died in the 1970s. Expect women to be ignored and men to be pressed for tips at every turn. A souless and depressing hotel.

It was great, comfortable rooms, great service, nice pool and almost everyone spoke english and they were all willing to answer our questions and provide us with maps and directions to the city sights. The breakfast was definately very poor and not worthy for a four or five star hotel, it was more likely the breakfast you eat in a pansion.

Not far from the city cinter& attractions.Large and nice landscape.The staff is nice The hotel is an old one and need some work on remodling.The hotel need hotel managment so bad.For example there is no(do not diturb) sign in any room of the two rooms I stayed in during that week,beside there is no mini bar.The breakfast is too expinsive

Staff are not professional at all,i rang reception 3 times to come and fix the mini bar fridge but in vain,there is no bin in the room,i would recommend royal mirage next to it .beacuse this hotel used to be 5 stars before,but now only 4 stars because of poor maintenance and unprofessionalism.the money I paid is not worth it at all, During our stay in the hotel for the honeymoon,i had a terrible and awful experience,the staff are not professional at all.when we came late at night they made us fill in all the papers on the main desk rather than having a seat.but that was not a major concern because am moroccan and I know how poor customer service you get in certain places.i have asked 3 times to fix the mini fridge but no respond at all to my request.the worst part,when we were sleeping,someone opened the door at 1:00am,my wife got scared,and couldnt sleep th whole night,i was scared myself,when I opened the door,there was no one.i rang the reception straightaway,and they said it's a mistake from a member of staff.at 8:00 am the room service opend the door again,when I asked why?she said orders from the hotel to check the room.i was fuming at that moment,when we were leaving the hotel,i showed my frustration and the way we have been treated,even one of the manager admitted that we've had a terrible experience.when I asked for a compensation.it seems that I was asking for stars from the sky.

Its a good 4 star hotel, I can not understand the many bad critics, the price was okay. The situation also and it was very quiet. The bathroom all in marmor, only what we can say, its old, it needs a little renovation. But the price-quality was okay.

Location is Great. A number of negative points about the hotel. Room Airconditioning is a disaster, Quality and Spread of Food at Buffet Breakfast and uncooperative support from the Hotel Staff. In case you are travelling to Fes, please consider other hotel options.

The hotel was very easy to locate and was in a quiet area of Fez. The room was very well appointed and the staff extremely attentive as is usual in Morocco. For the price paid for the room it was extremely good vaue. The hotel is clean, the grounds well cared for. Perfect Absolutely no complaints at all. Superb value for money.

I was extremely happy with the location, away from the hussle and bussle of Fez town centre which was only down the road, felt it was idyllic set in its own large grounds. Staff very courteous and helpful, nothing too much trouble. Lovely restaurants, extremely large swimming pool and patio area. Glad we booked breakfast, because there really wasnt anything within walking distance. Rooms were clean and of a good standard, large bathroom with big bath. The style of the hotel was typically arabic, in the rooms and in reception/restaurants area. Its listed as a five star outside the hotel, it probably was when it opened, quite palacial, but over time I would now rate is just less than a 4 star.I have alreay recommended this hotel to a friend going to Fez in May.

The food, the rooms, and the facilities. One staff member at the concierge desk was very rude, and charged us for an extra person, the morning after. he said it was ok to have one extra person, but the next morning he charged us.

Hotel tres decevant pour un cinq etoile , menage des chambres a revoir, batiment veillissent, froid dans les couloirs dejeuners mediocre, rien avoir avec le zarat el jaba de qualité tres superieure et pour un prix trois fois moins cher et de plus une demi pensoin avec un chef tres bien, un hotel que j'avais frequenté un mois plus tot
