The room was huge, the bed ditto and very comfortable, linen was perfect and more than adequate; tv worked properly if you needed, lots of choice with channels (whatever your language); bathroom was extremely smart and well-equipped; yes bath was rather high so could be a problem for those with limited mobility, but fine for myself and partner. Shower was great, toiletries exceptional (all with argan oil); all was cleaned/replaced daily, by polite and friendly staff.
The pool was very clean and welcoming as we were practically the only guests who swam (the others lolled round the pool on loungers), no problems with people "bagging" seats, but maybe that was as it was not peak season. The pool area was lovely, with outside candlelit areas and lanterns around the pool at night, very romantic and pretty.
The food was exceptional, masses of choice for breakfast, no idea why people complain, it was fantastic and all very fresh and well made. Dinners were also very good, especially the buffets... not what I'd call haute cuisine but very well put together, presentation very good, large portions and good fresh ingredients.
The staff were polite, unintrusive, helpful and friendly, couldn't fault them. We were impressed by the reception staff's command of numerous languages.
Also, the position was great - not in the swarming noisy smelly centre! - but close to a new cinema complex and comprehensive shopping mall. We walked the 5km-ish into town several times and saw much more than we'd have done from a taxi.
We were sorry to go, and are planning to return next year.
The noise of furniture being moved early each morning, presumably either to clean or to put the breakfast room together. (not noticeable if you have the aircon on).
Could have used 2 seats rather than 1, on the balcony. Not a biggie.
