Internet was not working The staff was rude and not organised This hotel does not deserve 5 stars, should be max 3 stars
Manager was very helpfull.
There is nothing in the hotel that would say it is a five star. facilities and amenities hardly exist. hotel is in a run down condition with pegeon pooh every where. Buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner was nothing like we have seen in full board experiences before. overall great disappointment!
Staff were polite, pool was nice and good location.
Lizard in room, had to change rooms because I did not recrive the pool view I payed for plus the first room was dirty. Had to go to reception 5 times before I got the towels which fell into neighbours balcony back. Plus wifi works at it's own accord! Service at restaurants is slow!
upgrade to new room when first was dirty Gardens Swimming pool
room was dirty and we had to complain restaurant had ran out of most dishes Breakfast was like feeding time at the zoo Staff seemed rushed off their feet and overworked
Decent location. A long walk from the main square Jemaa el Fna, but walkable. Taxis available.
Overcrowded pool. Breakfast crumbs left at 9:30 (ends at 10:30). Waited in line for half an hour for fresh made Moroccan bread, finally gave up. Bellman very unfriendly and went out of his way to be sure I took the most difficult route to room when I said I didn't need help with my one wheeled bag. Conflicting advice from concierge regarding excursions. No airport shuttle despite description. Walls are thin and hallway noises carry. Internet very slow when it does work. Overall, our worst experience out of 3 Moroccan hotels.
Location not bad
Wi Fi not working only by the reception , so if you always wanted to keep in touch with the would , or your business then find another hotel !
Location was good. Breakfast was reasonable.
Internet was extremely poor. Front end staff was not much cooperative. Room Service was poor so much so that I had to complaint to the Duty Manager.
DO NOT pay with euros as the check out personnel that did the check out - Amino - does not know how to compute the exchanges. You will lose on the exchange. Pay with your credit card. Waiting times at the reception to get service leaves something to be desired.
No longer cooking omelettes to order for breakfast
The service and hotel staff are very correct and polite. Perfect situation. Only 15-20 minutes walking to Jemma Fna square. Lovely swimming pool and gardens. Very comfortable beds.
Construction of the building is a bit old, you can see it for example in the bathroom. Breakfast is fine, but better don’t go too late.
Relaxed atmosphere, good facilities, good value for money
Service was slow for a drink
it is a wonderful place to stay close to everywhere
Free parking, garden
WiFi, cleanliness, Check-in and Check-out, breakfast
Wonderful pool and gardens and superb room
The lobby staff never did get around to bringing our cases to the room we had to collect them
The location is good if you want to be close but not too close to the chaos of the medina
Customer service was appalling especially at the reception desk. We booked a family package 'special offer' and had to battle to get what was supposed to be included. We were passed from one staff member to the other to be told four different stories despite having the package details printed on our booking form. The hotel could badly do with being upgraded, the bedroom we stayed in was shabby with cracked tiles and a badly worn bath. Certainly not worthy of its 5 star status
Staff were very helpful and friendly, loved the breakfast and the pool. Would go back.
The first room we were shown was very disappointing, but we were moved straight away when asked.
The swimming pool The food was good It was pretty clean Some of the staff were very helpful The spa is amazing Walking distance to the square/medina (15/20mins)
The lack of good English speaking staff Trying to give us a lesser standard of room than booked The lifts are too small The whole hotel is a smoking hotel and people smoked everywhere.
Hotel needs uplift
Hotel was clean and a had lovely peaceful gardens.
The staff at the reception and the restaurant was not very attentive. Limited breakfast variety and poor staff training. Often we had to set our own table for breakfast and look for the cups and cutlery.
Great pools, indoors and out; great location - easy walk to the Medina and very close to the airport; lovely gardens for relaxing in the sun.
Pigeons in the pool-view balconies; bun fight at breakfast - mainly for the eggs; 500% mark-up on same bottled water bought in the Medina.
Not enough umbrellas round the pool - breakfast offering could be improved
garden. The use is free, thank god.
prices differ from what is announced on the menus etc They charge for the use of the gym. Not announced in any place, it's a disgusting surprise when they find you are using it and charge you.
av stayed here three or four times is a great hotel has very beautifull garden and great food and staff nice place.ten mins from square.
Do not stay at this hotel if you are looking for true 5* luxury!! After booking an airport transfer via the hotel they mistakenly sent 2 drivers with both my surname and maiden name on plaques. This confused me, as I did not know who to trust or who to go with, as both drivers seemed convincing! On arrival at the hotel after paying the driver directly in euros (which in hindsight we thought was strange) the reception area was ok and probably the best part of the hotel. Our luggage was taken to the room and we were given the key. However, the hotel is quite big and we had difficulty locating the room with no staff on hand to escort us there. Instead we were merely pointed in the right direction. The room was very very very basic and was not 5* star by any standards, i would say more of a 3*. The decor is dark and dreary (actually quite depressing), the bathroom had a horrible smell, the floor was dark and looked dirty and by no means did it match up with the pictures on the hotel website or those on booking.com. There wasn't even a mini bar! Our first night of staying there the electricity cut out and the fire alarm was constantly going off, the reception staff hardly answered the phone and we had no explanation of what was going on. **Be aware that there are hidden charges not explained clearly for the use of the gym, in-room safe and the indoor pool!** The quality of the food is not the best, we ordered pizza, which took almost an hour to come, and when it did arrive it was swimming in grease! The pool area is ok but was overcrowded; you have to play cat and mouse to get a bed. There is no private space and it feels as though complete strangers are lying on top of you. The breakfast area/canteen was not clean, we had to ask several members of staff several times to clean our table before we sat down but it still didn't happen. Subsequently we cleaned our own!
