great for relaxation, beautifully designed hotel and pool area (especially outstanding during nighttime), helpful and active staff, rich breakfast buffet pool closes around 6 p.m., pool staff (not unexpectedly) uncoordinated and at times inattentive (but folks, we are "complaining" on a high level here); all in all it is great for combining a trip to Marrakech and letting your mind wander off a bit)

Rooms were big and comfy Pool was very nice Staff is very friendly Quiet location far from downtown, so no noise really Poor service (I'd even say amateur sometimes), understaffed obviously, especially by the pool and reception Room service is really slow (1hour for 1 soup and 1 club sandwich) Food (even breakfast) is a little under average (taste is a subjective thing but I like to think I have good a taste :D ) Luxury codes went MIA for this hotel, not a palace, not a 5 stars. It's a 4 star hotel but as it is sold as a Palace I expected something better...

Excellent for bell service, concierge, restaurant and pool wait staff, and the SPA! Extra thumbs up for the concierge staff whose name tag said "Chief" for arranging our daily trips something to look forward to. His suggestions too were invaluable. He's an asset to the hotel. I loved, loved, loved the hammam experience which i should've had everyday while we were there. A must try! I loved the resort feel of the hotel and the driveway from the main entrance. It gave a more secluded feel to it. Other big hotels that were nearer the center city, which could get noisy at night on the roads, were all curb/street-side. Overall, a two thumbs up! Will definitely go back there again, hopefully with a view of the pool next time ;-) We stayed in Rm 342 and was quite happy for 5 nights. I had requested for extra pillows for one of my kids whose bed was missing a pillow since night 1. It never came in the 5 nights we were there. Had to sacrifice one of mine ;-( The shower head "holder" was quite loose, so 30 seconds after turning on the shower the water pressure just pushes the shower head to bend over so we always ended up having to shower holding the shower head which was quite a bummer. The tub also has a spout that has a shower feature which my kids would have loved if only it didn't leak water out of the base in the bottom. Few times that they tried using it, it created a puddle in the bathroom floor ;-(

The hotel itself was average, the bed was comfortable and the room was large. This is certainly not a 5* hotel however. Service is extremely slow, poor and the reception staff were not helpful. The hotel appeared under staffed in all aspects of service. The best service was indeed from the 'pool chaps' reception staff being the worst.

The hotel was a wonderfully calm world in a manic city. The room was comfortable and well designed. The staff were helpful and very welcoming. We had a buffet evening meal and whilst the first and third courses were very good the main course was not so good. It tasted like warmed up yesterday's dinner that hadn't been heated through properly.

Marrakech and virtually any of the larger hotels nearer to town Too far from town, little character, located under the flight path of the nearby airport. Taxi drivers always try to overcharge, and succeed ususally on first journey from the airport.

Big room, big bathroom, very green and relaxing place. Good location for a short break. Reception staff very very friendly and helpful. Restaurant staff has no idea what they suppose to do. Not enough sitting at the weekend busy period due to the fact the empty tables were full of cutlery and dirty plates left by other guests who finished their meals and the waiters wee not interested in cleaning unless asked by other guests to do so. Not a 5 star service at all... The swimming pool has been closed for maintenance (fair enough, it has to be done at some point) but the hotel management didn't bother to inform any guests prior arrival about it. They did at check-in. Cancellation was not an option at this stage obviously. They offered indoor pool instead in the spa. Pleasant one but not even close to the outdoor one which was one of the main reasons we selected this hotel for our stay. There is a problem with "electronic locks" in this hotel. We stayed there for 3 nights and on 4 occasions we were unable to get in to the room because the key didn't work. Bit embarrassing to go 4 times to the reception wearing a bathrobe from the spa and asking yet again to get an access to the room.

We had a great experience... the staff was very friendly, the food was delicious, and we were upgraded to a very beautiful suite. I will definitely come back to this charming hotel. We had to pay for coffee from the coffee machine in the room.

Very clean, our room was fantastic. There were free movies available, bed was comfortable and the room was a good size. The spa and gym were great. The overall feel of this hotel was very grand with lots of space. The food was decent. Check in was a little sloppy- my name wasn't asked for when we arrived to confirm the booking and then it was a little confusing as they didnt realise it was through bookins.com....but was eventually sorted out. Only other small thing was that a few of the fittings in the bathroom were worn (eg towel rack was loose off the wall)

clean and spacious Pillows in rooms very poor quality; little choice in food - either eat outside by the pool (at 14 degrees and raining) or have full buffet for lunch; doorman/concierge not especially helpful in advising us on how much we ought to be paying for taxis to various places, gave clear impression they were on a commission of some sort.

Kenzi Menara Palace is a very pleasant hotel, with kind and service minded personel. It is situated in a peaceful and relaxing part of town. Fyi, it is a one hour walk in to the center of town, Jemaa el Fnaa, For us, it was wonderful because we like to walk a lot. If you don´t like to walk, taxi is very easy to get wherever you are in the town. The rooms are big, nice furnished and with a bathroom which have both shower and a bathtub. WiFi was working excellent in the room. Breakfast, restaurants and room service were good. The swimming pool area excellent, with a nice pool bar. Be careful with the rooms which they say have a view over the Atlas Mountains. They may be disturbed from a neighbour hotell (Cesars), and their loud music during the early and late evenings. We complained the first evening, and Kenzi kindfully let us change the room to a room facing the pool. It was done in 30 minutes, which we appritiated. There it was very quiet.

The style of the hotel felt traditional, the pool and rooms were of a good standard. Service was excellent, Sherif, the conseirge was especially helpful. The food at the breakfast buffet was luke warm. Only the buffet restaurant was available whilst a conference was being held.

We had a great time at Kenzi Menara. The room was fantastic, plenty of space, huge bed, very nice bathroom and nice terrace view. The facilities at the hotel are great, the pool is huge and we loved the spa and gym. The food is very good, good variety and quality and plenty of choice (I am very picky!!). We always dined at the hotel, as this was included in our package. Finally the staff is extremely professional and helpful. Except perhaps for one, all the waiters/waitresses, cleaning ladies, gardeners, receptionists and pool boys were so friendly and kind. Sharif at the concierge organised all trips for us, much appreciated. The only thing we were left disappointed with were the tennis courts which are not watered (so they tend to be very dusty). But this is probably because not many people tend to play anyway. Plus they are not included, so you have got to pay extra if you want to play (not great value for money). Perhaps the cleaning standards (in room) are not up to a five star hotel level, but by all mean more than acceptable. But the structure as a whole is very clean and well looked after. I would definitely recommend this place, no doubt.

This hotel surpassed all of my expectations. The service was flawless, the food and menu choices were excellent and I will definitely be returning there very soon. I honestly could not find a single fault with this hotel and will be recommending it to all of my friends. There was nothing not to like!
