Very good looking and awesome pool. Very well designed rooms and reception area. Some staff very friendly & helpful, mainly the bag/porters. Room smelt very strongly of cigerattes I was sharing with my wife & 3 young children. The toilet light did not workeven though we reported it & stayed for 2 nights but was never repaired. We where promised help with maps & excursions, but once we mentioned we were not interested in excursions no help or maps were supplied, they tried hard sell on the excursions.

Swimming pool looked beautiful but unheated so too cold to swim in Rude check-in woman who lost our booking and accused us of lying when we said we had spoken to them to confirm. Our room was filthy and I was glad they could only accommodate us for one night.

The staff were always helpful, the room was kept to a high standard of cleanliness on a daily basis. Swimming pool was lovely with relaxing atmosphere, hotel itself was well kept and clean. Some entertainment at night which was very relaxing to sit by pool and listen to the music/singers. The price I originally booked it at was not the same when it came to settling the bill. Whilst I expected taxes the bill itself went up by over £50 which I wasn't expecting. The staff spoke very little English despite when booking saying they did, luckily my husband spoke Arabic which I feel without this would of been very difficult.

Its an authentic styled hotel. The first room we were given was shabby and dirty and very small and dark. We upgraded to a suite which was fairly cheap to do and this was ideal but not European luxury style. Just comfortable and roomy. The pool is very nice as is breakfast on the terrace daily. It is only 5 mins by taxi to El fna square. Reception are helpful. Its a very relaxing and quiet hotel and the price is about right for what you get. The rooms all need updating. They are worn out and just need re-painting and cleaning the carpets etc. The general look of the place on the hotel web site is gorgeous but when you get there you soon realise it needs an overhaul.

Pleasant gardens and beautiful pool Very dirty ! The carpets in the communal areas (stairs and corridors) were filthy, there was no evidence of hoovering or even sweeping in these areas - a potato crisp lay undisturbed in the stairwell during our entire visit and at one point a bird was dining on the dirt of the carpet in the corridor §

We liked the swimming pool and the fact that this could be used around the clock without complaints. Also the fact that we had use of the sister hotel next door was a plus point, however we weren't told this upon arrival and it wasn't until fairly late on in the trip that this became apparant. The room had a strange smell at times which we put down to the air conditioning, which incidentally wasn't too effective. More work could have been done to source taxi services as the bartering etc was left down to individuals. Having this as part of the concierge service would have made things a lot easier.

The hotel looked and felt Moroccan. Comfortable, roomy, relaxing, friendly, beautiful swimming pool! Great value for money. Somewhat removed from the big bazaar, but easily accessible by taxi. Nice staff! Cleaning room ladies were smiley, and really friendly!! Concierge ready to offer guides and advice. Fair exchange rate. Nothing to complain about!! Be realistic....Morocco is a different world, so you can't compare every single thing fairly.

A good base for a one night stop, not too far from the airport and close to the train station. Room was spacious and clean, enjoyed having a balcony. If you want a hotel like you could find in England this is a good choice. For us we preferred the riads we had previously stayed in, they gave a truer experience of Morroco. This hotel caters for European tastes,if this is what you want it is a good choice.

The pool area it’s nice. Hotel decoration does not give you a 100% Moroccan atmosphere but is good enough. Free WiFi clean enough to be comfortable You can see this hotel was grate in the 90s, actually in 98 got one award for best hotel, but you can almost feel that after 98 they just stop caring and improving. Staff does just the enough to help (when it does) the mattress i could feel the hole made by past clients Breakfast was nothing spectacular, was ok.

The staff were very attentive with me during my stay and were very obliging when i asked for late checkout. The maid had also accidently taken some clothes i'd left on the floor from my room. I didn't know why or where at 1st they had gone. She took them to the laundry room. Head housekeeper quickly located them and dealt with the staff quickly and efficiently and then left flowers in my room every day from then on and rose petals on my bed.The pool area is lovely with the gardens and the sound of the birds around the bouganvillia, very peaceful.I had been here for lunches on previous visits. The transformation from breakfast to lunch and dinner around the pool area is lovely. With clothed napkins and table cloths with lovely glassware and setting.Nice ambience in the evening.Breakfast was varied and very nice, with moroccon crepes cooked to order by a moroccon cook outside near you breakfast table.A great range of moroccon/european/french cuisine for breakfast. The barbeque lunches were wonderful and tantalising...even if you didn't feel hungry. The aroma as you are chilling by the pool was always very tempting. The restaurnat staff and reception and really everybody were so nice and helpful and really would try to meet all of tyour requests...all of mind druring my stay were met. The only thing i sort of didnt like was the fact that while i had a large balcony with 2 chairs...there was no table to sit with and rest your drink/book etc...i can honestly say that is the only thing i did not like.

Comfy bed and freshly squeeze orange juice at breakfast So many things to say about that hotel, it must have been a grandiose place when it open in 1993, it also use to be called the "little mamounia" which says it all......unfortunetely it has all changed.......room are not clean properly everyday, the carpets in the corridors are stained and not hoovered too....i had mould on my bathroom walls and had to complaints twice before anyone did anything (they move me).....breakfast is poor except for the freshly squeeze orange juice, the table clothes use for breakfast are the one from the dinner before so they are stained...the service is run by a bunch of guys that litterally dont care about you...the lady at the pancake counter is rude.....i had not had any food other than a salad by the pool one day, it was a salad nicoise which came without tuna!!!...when I ask for it the waiter just reply "you want tuna?..ok"....a salad nicoise is not a salad nicoise without tuna.............their wireless internet only work in the lobby and in some of the bedrooms, depands in which one you are givern,as they move me from the "mould" story I have been to realise that.....some of drinks on the menus (bar-restaurant) are not always available......i have been over charged for 2 buffets and drinks when I check out, despite me complaining about it the cashier was certain that it was me as he saw me there on that night (more or less calling me a lier)...after 20 minutes of looking for the receipt which they found, he realised he was wrong, barely apology and try to over charge me by 10 dirhams again!!!!......finally like a local cab driver say to me, great hotel when it open but lack of ivestment and staff who have been there way to long make this place a hotel to avoid and I can not agree more - cheers - richard
