Beautifully decorated and perfectly located.
The breakfast coukd be improved.
Interesting with the guy helping us with our luggage when we arrived(as this riad is in the medina, the taxi could not drive in!). Breakfast was standard, fresh breads, jam, juice etc. Was quiet season when we were there. Was nice to be able to hear the ocean at night and all the rooms have a really relaxing coastal feel.
There was some loud noise from the street below the night we were there, but it didn't last long.
Nice hotel, relatively easy to find. Great white decor, nice view from the top and excellent value for money. We also liked the clientele, and the general ambience of the place. Thanks a lot!
- excellent location - very helpfull staff (but nobody speaks english) - very good base to explore medina - sufficiently comfortable for riad - very nice terrace
- no outside windows - however is not expected in riad - bed and plillows are not good - quality of sleep is mediocre
Staff were delightful and ambiance was excellent. The two proper beds were very comfortable. The open fire was lovely but the smoky, smouldering logs all night was not!
The third bed was really a settle which meant the third person had to share in a double. Not ideal for three single travellers. Also lack of ventilation meant smoky all night
the hotel is super clean, calm and it feels like your own house. The rooms are nicely decorated and feel very homey. The bed was super comfy and the staff very helpful. My boyfriend got ill during our stay and they made him tea and helped me find a pharmacy to buy medicines. The roof terrace is lovely and it has sea views.
I pretty much lived everything!
the manager was a "fake nice" person.
The hotel is placed in a nice location very central.
The place is very overpriced for what it is!!It was the first place that we didn't get a welcome mint tea upon our arrival. The owner was a bit rude and unfriendly. Our room had a very bad smell during our whole stay and it was very hummid. Our bed was very hard and we couldn't relax during the night. If we hadn't pay in advance, we would have gone earlier.
The service was great and the place lovely. I had to ask them to buy a ticket for a bus and they were happy to sort it out. The best thing I would say it was the location, central and well connected.
The only thing I didn't like much was the musty smell of our bedroom and the feeling that the sheets were a little old made mefeel a little uncomfortable.
This riad is idyllic. Very beautiful and fits right into the waterfront landscape. Clean and bright rooms, beautiful terrace.
This was the best place we stayed in Morocco. Friendly staff, great location with ocean view, clean rooms.. We found everything we needed and wanted in La casa del mar. You will enjoy this place from the first minute inside! Also, it was the first place wher
Roof terrace has spectacular views directly over the ocean breaking over the rocks...
not really a complaint...only thing is that the roof terrace is so windy you can’t comfortably eat up there, eating breakfast on the roof terrace being one of the chief pleasures of staying in a riad.
well located / really nice & confortable rooms (uncluttered style) / small authentic terasse with vue on the rocks&sea (lot of wind however) / really nice people for service&advice / good breakfast
damp washing sometimes because of location
Tastefully decorated and the manager as well as all the staff were very helpful.
There was nothing to hang towels on in bathroom. No switches for the lights in the mezzanine. Sheets did not fit properly on the mattress on this level (too small because they were tucked directly onto the floor so they came loose during the night.
Very nice staffs. Everything in the hotel is beautiful!
Some staff can't understand English.
Very stilish riad , quite close to the center. Rooms were clean and spacious with a nice open bathroom.
The host was really lovely. She goes above and beyond and has a really good sense of humour. Loved the breakfast and the terrace as well.
Really nice vibe, friendly and attentive staff. Really nice rooms and a great terrace.
Of I were being picky, the Room needed a bit of an airing - but that is the nature of moat riads.
Friendly staff makes you feel as at home. Nice location out of the main streets. Nice home rooms with traditional desing.
The same menu on the breakfast, but I guess it comes together in all riads/hostels.
very clean, very well priced, friendly and wellcoming staff, plenty of breakfast, in the centre of town, highly recomended thank you !
Wonderful staff and rooftop views.
Stuffy rooms, extremely hard bed and lack of curtains to block out the hall way light at night.
Oh wow! When we walked up to the terrace.... such a great view of crashing waves on the rocks, the smell of the ocean, couldn't stop smiling. The room was lovely with great use of the space. Staff were very welcoming and patient with my limited French! Great position in the wonderful Medina.
The only thing was that the beds were hard but that certainly didn't hinder our wonderful stay.
