Friendly staff, nice pool and in walking distance to the waterfalls.

Rent a room rather than a bungalow. Bungalow's had a wet plastic smell inside. Rooms are very clean and spacious.

Located about 1.5km from the falls in a perfectly quiet spot. Small and really cozy, large bungalows. Breakfast (complimentary) in a nice outdoor open tent setting. Beautiful pool.

The pool and the lovely building.

Indifference of the staff and unreliable supply of power and warm water.

From the warm, genuine reception by the owner to the clearly excellent level of the kitchen staff, every aspect of La Kasbah d'Ouzoud exceeded expectations. The setting and buildings are very nice indeed, and given the moderate prices the kasbah qualifies as a bona fide bargain. I agree with Sharon's observation that everything is in French, mostly because the clientele is almost exclusively French. The owner, however, went out of the way to speak English with me and was genuinely excited about attracting more people from the English-speaking world. My room was among the very best I encountered anywhere in Morocco, nicely balancing fancy amenities with more rustic touches that convey some welcome authenticity. The owner and staff went above and beyond to help me. If I'm in the area again I will absolutely stay here.

I found that the wifi internet wasn't possible to use in the rooms, but this qualifies (at most) as a minor annoyance, since everything about the Kasbah is meant to encourage people to unplug from their connected lives. I did find the shower in my room could quickly change from a normal range to actual scalding temperature -- but perhaps this was a freak occurance.

Convenient location, good food, bungalows are comfy and nice. One of the staff members went above and beyond to help us out with dinner when one of us was ill.

Everything's in French with no staff fluent in English so we had to google translations for the dinner menu each day. Would have been ok if the wifi connectivity wasn't so slow and unreliable. We never had anyone coming to refresh our room so had to go and ask for towels and toilet roll ourselves when needed. The venue is used by tour groups so you may have a group of 18+ loud tourists taking over the pool, bar and dinner area - not great if you were hoping for a quiet evening.

Nice and quiet site a few km beyond the tourism chaos. But not as close to the falls as indicated. Good shower. Nice swimming pool

Wifi doesn't work. A Maroc telecom GPRS dongle is shared with 40 active users. Resulting in a non working Internet connection. The bungalows smell a bit damp.

The place is very beautiful, outside the hassle that is in the middle of Ouzoud itself yet it takes just a minute to get to the parking for the waterfall. The hotel has got very nice bungalows, a nice swimming pool and we recommend to have a dinner there as it is very good. Remember that many places in Morocco, and this also, haven't got doors for the toilet, they use a curtain, you don't see anything but you can hear. English is not spoken.

The garden and the hotel is a dream and very nice to relax after a visit of marakkesh. We stayed with our two children in a bungalow and we all loved it.

    Hard beds.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The quality of the room and its facilities were also good.

When making the booking it was mentioned the location is 49 km from Beni Minal and in actual fact it is 137km?? Which if you are travelling in the evening makes a big difference. Also the quality of the breakfast could be improved if necessary ask for more money??

Nice spacious room, beautiful pool in the garden and "cafeteria" for dinner and breakfast. Very quite and clean. Towels provided. Breakfast is good and satisying, so is dinner.

Few chairs around the pool, you have to run early in the morning to reserve it with a towel. They don't speak english, like everyone else in Morocco tough.

Amazing location, pool, views and dinner. Incredible garden. Stayed in the "bungalow" which is actually a super charming berber tent with stone walls, with a fantastic private bathroom. The place is exceptionally clean and they can really cook. By far the most charming hotel I have seen in Morocco.

The electricity went away in the middle of the night, and with it the fan (it was August) and more importantly the water pump in our room... We had no water on the day we left in our bathroom. I kinda would have expected something more than free tea as compensation, seeing the place is fairly pricey and we had to shower at the pool showers before we left... To their credit, it was probably a grid problem, but still.

Lovely garden/pool and accommodation. Staff very friendly and efficient. Quiet and excellent location, handy for the cascades. A little oasis in the heat of Morocco. Good value for money.

Menu a bit limited but explained by the fact that we were there during Ramadan.

Beautifully located in the Moroccan countryside. A reals oasis in a dry environment. Comfortable rooms in tasteful local style. Staff very friendly and helpful and food was tasty and well presented. It was too bad we were only passing through, definetly worth a longer stay.

    Distance from Route National.
