beaufiful place, very nice and warm staff, friendly and helpful. Great breakfast and good wifi.
Morrocan-owned guesthouse. Very friendly staff, who take their time to make you feel welcome. Dinner was excellent!
staff couldn't be nice and more helpful, the rooms around the pool are lovely, the pool is exactly what you need after a day in the desert.
The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, and the food was quite good. Rooftop breakfast was nice, too. The rooms are basic but clean, and there's a pool for hotter days.
Flies everywhere, through no fault of the owners. There are simply just flies everywhere in Zagora (the bank machine, the gas station, the hotels).
The place is very quite and the facilities simple but with a special charm. The owner and staff very helpful and kind. A place to come back and stay longer. I will recomended it.
The owner Brahim did everything he could do to make ou stay unforgettable. Perfect place for a tour to the desert: at the hottest of the day we could sit in the garden and enjoy the swimming pool. In the afternoon we went to the desert with a very competent and friendly guide. Brahim has good contacts to good guides and arranged trips for us (desert, camel ride in palmetry, walk for panoramic view). Breakfast and diner were delicious. Our stay was also special because of the friendly and helpful personal.
It was hard to leave.
Le Petite Kasbah is great in its simplicity. It's a perfect place from where you can plan your trip to the Sahara. Brahim, the owner / host, will give you a very warm receive. He does everything possible to please you. An overnight camel trek in the Sahara? He will arrange it for you, when you ask him. And, for example, an extra bowl of rice for a weak stomach was no problem...... The real Moroccan food (cooked by his own husband) tasted perfect! Also, the staff (Ali and Hussein) are very nice people. They approach you very personal and make it a real Moroccan experience (especially for children). We had a very good time there! Do like us!!!
Generosity and hospitaity of owner and staff. Lodge is ideal for an original "kasbah" experience; not a concrete touristic-facade building. Very clean and quiet. Dinner and breakfast superb.
The place is wonderful and it is really worth a stop on your way to the desert. Brahim and Ali were just great and made us feel really at home. At the petite kasbah we just had the best breakfast of our trip to Morocco. Also, on the first day Ali kindly offered us to visit the palmerie surrounding the neighboring and the walk around was really pleasant and felt authentic.
Brahim, Ali, Jamila and team went out of their way to make feel at home in what had been Brahim's family home. Proper tea welcome, very good dinner, excellent breakfasts on the roof terrace. These were more than ample, eggs, lots of breads, cheese and the most delicious homemade lemon jam we have ever tasted. The beds are comfy, the rooms are fine and the pool (only been built for a couple of years) is great - deep and cold. It's on the way out of Zagora to the south and is close to the path up the jebel - 35 mins easy walk. (Starts between two large houses opposite the roundabout near the supermarket). Basically, they are lovely people who are striving to do what is necessary to show people 'the real' Berber life away from tourist areas. NB, It is on the RHS of the road, 1 km before their lat/long indicates.
Leaving them and Zagora.
Brahim and the staff of La Petite Kasbah were very welcoming, friendly and eager to help with anything. It was a great experience to stay at this place and I will definitely go there again!
La Petite Kasbah was the best in our trip in Morroco. Great owners and staff. They were very welcoming. Nice rooms in old renovated kasbah. Excellent food. Especially thanks for Brahim and Ali. Ali, our children missed You :) Highly recomended !!!
This please feels like being home! Amazing hosts!
Great owners and staff, very welcoming. Nice rooms in old renovated kasbah. Very good -also vegetarian- food (dinner and breakfast). Private parking available, Wifi. Highly recommended!
Our hosts, Ibrahim and Mustafa, were extremely friendly, helpful and generous. Mustafa gave us a a very interesting tour of the surrounding date gardens and a nearby Kasbah. The food was excellent. We stayed for two nights and really felt at home there. When there was a minor problem with our room, Ibrahim insisted on giving us a different room and refused to charge us for the first night. Highly recommended.
It's too far to walk to Zagora town center. The rooms are very basic (but still nice).
Staff and owner were extremely friendly and welcoming. A few kms from Les Dunes de Tinfou and on the road to beautiful Mhamid el Ghizlane. Definitely good value for money.
Very kind and friendly staff with good food
The accommodation was simple but scrupulously clean and fresh and the decor had been chosen with loving care. There was an enclosed garden with areas within in designed for privacy and relaxation. The property overlooked a palm grove which it was possible to explore. The most outstanding feature, however, was the service provided by Brahim, his wife and members of his team to ensure the comfort and convenience of the guests. This was always at the forefront of the minds of all the staff. We ate dinner on a large terrace under the stars and the food had been prepared and was served with the same care and attention to detail which was evidenced in the room decor. We had to leave at 5.00 am to catch a coach back to Marrakech. Brahim organised a reliable taxi and got up to see us off with a bag of fruit for the journey. Staying at La Petite Kasbah was a unique and memorable experience
We liked everything about our stay.
