Central Medina location and yet still quiet and great pool.
Layout and interior Location
wonderful facilities and staff
internet poor would have liked a kettle in the room
The atmosphere The décor The staff attention and service
Dim lighting in the room
A delightful place. The ambience was amazing. Every part of the hotel was a work of art decorated in the most beautiful traditional Moroccan decor. The rooms were lovely, large but very cosy. It's was an unforgettable experience.
The pool was cold. Could not swim
Personal service of the friendly staff
The location is wonderful. The riad is opulent and wonderful to look at. The rooms are amazing
My Mother and I were visiting Marrakech for 5 days and we stayed at La Sultana. This hotel was fabulous! Top notch 5 star service, incredible food, stunning riad! It comes highly highly recommended. -Artist/Designer from NYC
The staff and the restaurant are excellent
The Spa and the pool are disappointing
Gorgeous building friendly and helpful staff
Food is expensive
Beatifully done riyad, wonderful roof terrace, nice little courtyards. Very friendly staff.
the guide hotel suggested on the first day was not willing to share much information and he took us to his friends carpet sellers where we were pushed for over an hour to buy a carpet (not a several hundred dirhams item!) Also, one of the receptionist discouraged us from going to El Sadi Palace because it's only "ruins and stork nest place". I found it very interesting and magical with all the storks. Beautiful view of the city and the Atlas mountains from there as well.
Wonderfull place, great and very helpfull staff. On walkingdistance of all The hotspots
Swimming pool not ideal; breakfast and dinner around the pool which limitates the operating hours + no direct sun because of plastic cover over the patio ... All the rest was excellent ... so please move the pool and it will be perfect!!!!
Beautiful, elegant Riad hotel. Immaculately maintained and furnished/decorated in great taste. Very romantic restaurant by the pool with the best food we had in Marrakech and lovely roof terrace restaurant with view of the Atlas mountains. You can see that the owners really care. The location is excellent in the heart of the Medina (walking distance to Jemaa el Fnaa square) and the hotel is an oasis of calm amidst the bustle outside. Very helpful friendly staff. Well appointed bedrooms with exotic bathrooms. Lovely spa with traditional hammam treatments. I highly recommend La Sultana and will return!
Nothing i didn't like, though wish we had booked a bigger room, although it was adequate. We booked "Ostrich" and will go for "Puma" next time.
The room was very cold; several attempts to get the fire burning didn't succeed.
Enjoyed every second of it from the moment we arrived all the way till diparture .
The only good experience was the hotel decor.
The superior room was small & crowded. Not being able to connect to the wi fi or cable tv. The food was poor and over priced; The tajin was not cooked in the tajin only served in it. Not being able to sun tan whilst around or in the swimming pool. The attitude of the manager was unaccommodating to us.
A very professionally run Riad, well trained staff and level of service from everyone. The decor and architecture are stunning and our room "Panther" simple adorable. All of the riads ( this property is made up of 4 or 5) linked to create La Sultana are stunning. A lot of thought has gone into its flow and design. First class, excellent breakfast offering and very romantic suppers. We have stayed in many stunning hotels around the world and this is right up with the best of them. Great Hamman and massages too.
We struggled to stay warm, our suite and the lounge areas and breakfast room were cold, it wasn't particularly warm in the Spa either however there was an open fire burning down there on one occasion which was a comfort. This was end of November and we required all of the warm clothes we packed whilst indoors.
Staff could not have done more for us, from morning to last thing at night, always available for advice or help, but not intrusive in any way
A tiny tiny problem but they had wobbly tables at breakfast
I liked everything. It is wonderful hotel and I will come back.
Location great, staff great and beautiful riads. The roof terrace is stunning and gives a superb view of true Marrakesh. If you want to experience Marrakesh but stay in luxury, this is the best you can get.
Dinner was very average so only dined once. Breakfast is nice but only variation is the pastries. They need to make more effort with the food.
extremely friendly and efficient staff
The hotel was absolutely stunning in design. The hotel was designed around elaborately decorated four courtyards around which the rooms were situated and a fifth which contained a gorgeous pool. The staff were quiet and ubiquitous and very eager to please without being solicitous.
Although well presented, the food was sometimes disappointing at dinner. Lunch around the pool was fabulous though!
Interesting mixture of 5 Riads turned into a beautiful quiet boutique Hotel with excellent staff situated in a great position within the Medina . Food also excellent .
Tea and Coffee at breakfast !
Most incredible staff I've ever experienced, amazing decor, right in the old city, walk everywhere
