Terrible service, weird vibe! Felt invisable to the staff and the atmosphere felt like being in a morgue, no smiles from the staff ( apart from girl who spoke English and was new there). Dinner table was covered in mess, crumbs etc. food was poor. Waiter service was so bad I got up to collect our food which was cooked and just left on the side getting cold. There were hardly any other guests there and we felt we were an inconvenience to the staff for being there. New girl there who spoke English was very helpful on the only positive note.
When the sun came out the pool was nice for a swim.

Cold dining room and cold bedroom. The fireplace in the dining room and the heater in the bedroom made it bearable but not much more.
Driving from essaouira to ouarzazate we didn't want to deal with Marrakech or drive during dark through the pass. Hotel Le Coq was in the right place at the right time. The staff was helpful, they even lit the fire in the dining room, but it did little to lessen the chill.

The receptionist's English rather poor but he was friendly. Wifi only in public areas.
The room was spacious and nice. We had a small balcony. Location on the road good for those who need to make a stop for night. Good breakfast.

The Moroccan food we had was not recommendable, but the following night they prepared us some great pizzas. Rooms with very thin walls, you can hear your neighbours' every move.
Very easy to find and yet in the back of the hotel it's nicely quiet except of many children playing in the pool of the hotel next door. The rooms are quite spacious and mainly clean. Some of the staff were superfriendly and prepared us food after breakfast hour.

We were looking for a hotel to stay on our way to Ouarzazate from Marrakech. We enjoyed the garden, the swimming pool and the familiar atmosphere.

We had to change rooms due to smell of drains. Staff not too welcoming even though we seemed to be only guests
Away from madness of Marrakesh, great swimming pool. Take credit cards without charging commission

All good for us :)
We arrived very late at the hotel as getting out of Marrakech was crazy. It was easy enough to find, they looked after us and even made us dinner despite the kitchen being closed hour earlier. The staff are friendly, the area is very relaxed and the pool is wonderfully kept. I would absolutely reccomend you stay here if your heading staright out of the airport and madness that is Marrakech as we did. Thanks Le Coq :)

The breakfast service was a little slow (there was only one employee for all hotel guests) but polite and personalised.
Great place to spend the night. It is located in the main road so is perfect if you want to make a quick stop. The rooms were very modest but clean. The breakfast was good. Amazing garden with pool and kids playground. Overall we recomended this place!!!
