The owners have taken such care in the restoration of this lovely 1880 Riad. It is charming with no expense spared in the use of craftmen When one of us was ill, they were most solicitous. Dinner is to be recommended.

We are a young couple who like to travel and this was probably the best vacation accommodation experience we've ever had - period. Marrakech can be overwhelming and we were so lucky to have picked Pavillon Oriental. From the moment we arrived at the airport, we were well taken care of. A driver picked us up and took us to the beautiful riad. Stepping out of the medina into this gorgeous oasis feels surreal - we were greeted so warmly by our host and offered tea and pastries as she showed us around on a map and answered all of our questions (in perfect English). The spot itself is indescribably beautiful and peaceful, and the wonderful family who owns the riad were so kind and helpful while also giving us lots of space. From our lovely breakfasts outside by the pool (with lots of coffee!) to taking us to a special spot in the market to buy real argan oil to helping us find the best restaurants and making reservations in the evenings, we were shown exceptional hospitality and care every day of our stay. I can't do this wonderful place justice in writing, but I am already dying to go back and would absolutely recommend Le Pavillon Oriental to anyone visiting Marrakech. I don't believe you could find better. This is a perfect place run by a wonderfully kind, smart family. Lucky you if you get to visit soon!

- The room was quiet and peaceful, pleasantly decorated. - The rooms, common parts, terrace and pool of the Riad was all very clean. - The staff were very helpful and friendly. - The location was very central in Marrakech. - We liked relaxing from the terrace. - There were lots of comfortable lounges for the guests. - The free wifi was very useful. - Breakfast, whilst tasty and fresh, was perhaps a little plain.

From the moment we arrived, we knew we had made a good choice. The accommodations were lovely, the location was just a 5 minute walk from the Medina and the breakfasts were delicious. We were upgraded to a larger room at no charge because there was availability. Kwathar and her father made us feel as if we were guests in their home rather than clients at a hotel. I will definitely stay here again when I return to Marrakech.

Great hospitality from the family running the hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great view of Marrakech and Atlas mountains from roof while enjoying breakfast. A beautiful Riad with great Moroccan taste, design and architecture. A very authentic experience of Marrakech, the Moroccan culture and traditions. We highly recommend this superb hotel. Frankly, nothing. The only bad thing is that we stayed for only 2 nights. It should have been at least 3 or 4 maybe. This place was like a dream that came true. We loved it and we are recommending it to everyone going to Marrakech.

Everything! Especially the security service when we got back late at night all dressed up as two female travelers. But also the very warm, personal and friendly athmosphere provided by all memebers of staff. The Riad is within excellent walking distance of the main square.

A fabulous fabulous riad; a peaceful oasis of calm, right in the centre of the bustling Medina. Superb home cooked meals. Purpose built hamman and spa facilities. Our hosts made us feel as if we were part of their family, offering friendship, hospitality and kindness of an extraordinary degree. That I can't stay there more often!

This Riad is the perfect place in Marakkesch. It is like a secret Paradise between the loud and crazy Medina! The owners family and the staff are super helpfully and try everything to make your stay to be perfect. Probably the best place in Marakkesch.

The family that owns and runs the Riad were amazing. Nothing was too much trouble. They go above and beyond to provide a beautiful oasis in the middle of a busy city. The Riad was beautiful and the terrace and pool were wonderfully relaxing.

The personal service was second to none. We loved returning to the beauty, peace and cool of the Riad after the madness of Marrakech. Our hosts were enjoying a family holiday together while we were there but we were always treated as a priority. It was a privilege to meet such lovely people. We will definitely return. After such delicious food and hospitality we had to say goodbye!

Everything was good at the pavillon Oriental. I stay often in Hotels and after this experiment i advise everybody to stay in a guesthouse, perfect ambiance, perfect personal staff, i cannot find one negative point about this Riyad in the middle of the Medina. Original authentic interior just out of a ferrytail of 1001 nights. amazing owners who speak there languages. They give you the real feeling of the client is King.

The Medina's best kept secret. This is without a doubt one of the most beautiful riyads in the medina and is fantastic value for money. Walking into the riiyad is like walking into an oasis of calm and beauty from the madness of the Medina. Its a fantastic location. To see the heart of Marrakesh and run in and out of the Souks. The staff are so friendly and always on hand to help with anything. The pool is beautiful. The menu is small but I had the best meal in Marrakech there (Kafka Tangine). Breakfast is excellent. What a great find!. Its very new so doesn't have as many review as other riyads but this is up there with the best especially given the value for money. Next time I go to Marrakech I'll be returning to La Pavillion for sure. No complaints. Its luxury at great value for money. The lady running the hotel is wonderful 10/10

This place was an absolute dream, the manager was so helpful and made a few phone calls on our behalf as were having difficulty arranging a transfer to a hotel were were staying at in the Atlas mountains. The Riad was about a 5 min walk from the Medina. The room & bathroom were fantastic, very clean and very well decorated, the bed was very comfortable and we had a great nights sleep. The breakfast was excellent and overall it was the finest small hotel/riad we have ever stayed in. The manager told us to call her at any stage while were were in Morocco if we were having any difficulties at all. An absolute excellent place. If you are staying in Marakech it is definitely worth staying in, you will not be disappointed.

The owner is wonderful - so helpful and knowledgable of Moroccan culture. The location is great - close to exit of Medina and also close enough to Grand Square. It is a beautifully restored riad with several lounging rooms and terrace for taking in the warm Moroccan sun. We would stay here again!
