This traditional riad is in a restored 18th-century mansion in the heart of Marrakech's Medina, a 5 minute walk from Jamaâ El Fna Square. It features a hammam and a rooftop terrace with lounge areas.

A very beautiful riad in the south of the "medina". A perfect place to discover Marakech, you can access nearly all the points of interests with your legs!. And a very nice Staff ( thanks a lot Abdu!).
Location was good and WIFI was strong throughout. One staff member who looked after us did a good job
Cannot understand why visitors give this place such a good score. When we arrived the staff were more concerned with showing us what excursions they could organise for us and arguing with some other guests about a bill for tea, than checking us in after an 8 hour flight and 2 hour car journey from Casablanca. Breakfast was stingy. We had a night away up into the Atlas and asked to leave our bags in the Riad. This was refused even though the place was almost empty. No explanation was given. The day of our departure at 0700, we had requested (the previous night) tea before we left. Breakfast did not start until 0800, so we understood it would not be possible to be fed. But they could not even offer us a cup of tea.
Cannot understand why visitors give this place such a good score. I agree with reviewer from Abu Dhabi. When we arrived the staff were more concerned with showing us what excursions they could organise for us and arguing with some other guests about a bill for tea, than checking us in after an 8 hour flight and 2 hour car journey from Casablanca. Breakfast was stingy to say the least, almost not worth sitting down for and nothing like we had at other places we stayed. No fruit just carbs and alternate days, a pot of sweetened yoghurt, a hard boiled egg then a small piece of processed laughing cow cheese. Would not recommend this place.
The staff was amazing The riad is very very beautiful It's very quiet and calm, a great refuge from the hectic streets of Marrakech
The breakfast was very simple.
Overpriced for the quality of service and the attitude of the owner. I will give it a zero if the rating permits. The owner is greedy and kept trying to load extra charges. I paid for the Moroccan tea in the afternoon which was complementary in the Raid I stayed in Fes and in my Casablanca hotel, I was asked to pay for a vase that I broke by accident (don’t you have insurance for those items!). The breakfast was frugal and I expected more for the money I paid: omelette or egg is extra charges apply, and it did not have any type of local cheese, you will get one piece of cheese if you asked! Overall, very bad experience and I will not recommend this place to anyone. It is better to stay in 5 star hotels for the same amount of money. The staff were the only positive thing in this place.
Perfectly situated Riadh with 9 beautufyl rooms. Clean and good comfort. Beautiful views from the roof terrace. Very friendly owners and staff, always at your service. Very nice experience in the Hamam and the following massage.
Bell-door too loud at night-time when other guests return to the Riadh.
A beautiful Riad, so peaceful and spotlessly clean. The owners were incredibly friendly and helpful. We had breakfast on the roof terrace every morning and a delicious lunch and dinner one night. Thoroughly recommend this Riad, you won't be disappointed.
Lovely staff, great location and free Wifi...Would defiantly come back
Everything. The owners and staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful which, as a solo, female traveler, I really appreciated. The rooms and communal areas were very comfortable and immaculate at all times. The food was great too. I ate there on my first night - the vegetable tagine was delicious.
There were no negatives. I wish I was still there!!
The stay was exceptional. The owner and his wife were attentive to our every need, including our gluten free needs. In the course of our stay the staff helped us with everything we needed and were gracious and friendly and have become friends very quickly. We will be in touch and return with great joy on our next visit.
Lovely Riad with great Decor and a mostly calm atmosphere. Far enough away from the hustle and bustle to enjoy the quite. Beautiful breakfasts on the roof terrace, with the view of the Atlas Mountains, our best time of the day.
Staff were very friendly, but slightly keen to serve... it became a bit awkward, and seemed a bit too much. We found it hard to ask about activities that were not directly related to the Riad. And a simple question would turn into a 1/2 hour conversation around the table. But this might come down to the fact that we like to be left to our own devices. This is just our general feeling, not a big negative.
The staff were fantastic - very attentive and friendly. They really made the extra effort to ensure we had a perfect stay and would help us decide on what to do during our stay. We would definitely recommend this Riad to anybody visiting Marrakech.
Good location. The hotel was clean and the staff was very friendly.
The breakfast was not good, mainly bread and cakes. There was rather cold in the breakfast room; the only heating (electric battery)was in the bed room and that helped there.
My partner and I stayed at Le Pavillon Oriental for 3 nights in Jan. 2014. The staff was absolutely brilliant and went out of the way to make us feel welcome and comfortable in Marrakech. We booked two excursions through the riad staff upon arrival and had a wonderful time. The riad itself was beautiful (pictures don't do it justice) and very centrally located. Even though the riad is right in the heart of the busy medina, it is astoundingly peaceful and quiet. Would absolutely recommend.
Everything was excellent ! Absolutely nothing to complain. The best location that you can find to experience Marrakesh in the best Ryad inside the medina.
Absolutely nothing to complain about.
Awesome people, everything was spot on and amazing!
A fantastic Riad right in the heart of the Medina a few minutes walk to the Jemaa el-Fnaa on an unassuming little back street, but behind the beautiful wooden door lies an oasis of calm and service that's second to none. Proudly run by a very welcoming family, and quite rightly so! Each of the 7 rooms is different but all beautiful. We had the Fassia suite which was on the first floor overlooking the courtyard with the pool. It was stunning. Breakfast was delicious and can be taken anywhere you desire - We usually chose the roof terrace for the beautiful views out over the Medina and to the High Atlas beyond.
Charming traditional family owned riad. Authentic architecture, central location, best in class service - fully recommended.
