I loved the peace and tranquility of Riad Berbere. Ingrid and her staff were so welcoming and nothing was too much trouble to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The food was superb - varied and well prepared. The riad is very well situated, and with the help of the map Ingrid provided, we found all the sights easily. 10/10 FOR RIAD BERBERE!

By far, one of the best places I have ever stayed. Every single detail has been of. Riad Berbere is a true gem in the Medina of Marrakech. Sadly, we only had one night at the Riad, but wish we could have stayed longer. The manager, Ingrid went out of her way to make our stay and experience pleasant and memorable. The staff were extremely accommodating and hospitable. Without reservation, the best place to stay in Marrakech. We highly recommend it.

The Le Riad Berbere was a very peaceful and tranquil place for us to enjoy our stay in Marrakech especially after a days shopping in the souks. The staff were very friendly and catered to our every need while keeping the Riad spotless. Ingrid, the manager, was very attentive and helped us in every way she could from booking us bus tickets to getting our breakfast prepared early on our early rises! The food at the Riad was delicious and everyday the breakfast was a little different from the day before and served with a smile. We only had dinner there one night of our stay but again it was delicious and when we visit again we will have dinner at the riad a few more times. I would definitely recommend this Riad to anyone visiting Marrakech.

It is hard to point out any downsides to the Riad but if I had to and it would purely be because I am not a cat lover, it would be the cats. There are a few in the Riad itself but Marrakech is full of them and so they couldn't keep them out even if they wanted to!

This place is the jewel in the crown of Marrakech. Designed by a Belgium architect, it ticks every box. We stayed in the Terrace Room which has huge floor to ceiling windows, is very very spacious, has its own terrace overlooking the courtyard, and a huge luxurious bathroom with original stonework. It's designed on a duplex basis, and has oceans of white space. The courtyard is truly amazing, banana trees surround a small fish pool, and you get a huge sense of garden/outdoor space. The lounge is exceptional and has high ceilings and if you look up, there is an intricately carved wooden ceiling which reminds you of the one in the Marmounia Hotel were all the celebs stay. The staff are so helpful and friendly, especially the manager Ingrid. She escorted us to Cafe des Espices and made sure we could find our way back, and even came with us to an orphanage we planned to visit - her help getting there was invaluable. She made you feel she really cared about your stay, and was so easy to talk to, like an old friend. She organised Taxi transfers and porterage for our bags, and even found out bus times for us before we arrived. The Riad was exceptional, the staff brilliant, but Ingrid was the star. It's in a superb location for the Souks and the main square, and close to the Museum of Photography / Museum of Marrakech. Everything about this Riad is truly perfect and wonderful. I had researched over 100 Riads, but this one would be my top choice on all counts. Stay here and you will not be disappointed. I am already planning a return stay.

Perfect in every way - I only wish we could have stayed longer. I will never forget this place or the staff, truly superb.

Beautiful place, super clean and very charmingly decorated. The Riad Berbère is a romantic and relaxing place to stay in Marrakech. We loved the location, in the Medina and right next to the Souks. It was our first time in Marrakech and we had a lot of assistance from the host, who showed us how to find our way in the city, suggested great restaurants and made herself available for whatever we needed. She even spent an afternoon with us helping us to buy a rug, negotiate a good price for it and make a good choice! The whole experience was a lot of fun. This is a place with a soul, we'll be back!

Ingrid and her staff were so warm and friendly. A nice touch were the freshly baked cookies to welcome us on our arrival. There was a wonderful peaceful atmosphere within the riad and it smelt amazing! It was centrally located and we really enjoyed staying in the tiny alleys of the old city.

Very nice place to stay. The staff and Ingrid are very helpful and kind - even the cats are sweet. The Riad is beautifully decorated and has a calm atmosphere. Has both a lovely patio and two great rooftop terraces where you can relax in comfy furnitures

Doors and Windows do not keep any noise out. So whatever conversation or music being played in the courtyard you can hear from your room. But from late evening and until late morning its very quiet. But not something that would keep us from staying here Again. Serving of breakfast takes its time - if youre anxious to get out in buzzling Marrakesh. But its a nice meal.

Ingrid is wonderful. She turns herself inside out to make sure your stay is as pleasant as possible. Breakfast and supper was delicious and served in front of the fire.

    My stay was too short.

This accommodation is truly lovely in every way. All the staff are delightful, welcoming and always smiling, and although the manager Ingrid was on holiday when we arrived we were very well looked after by Giovanni. The central courtyard is an oasis of calm from the hectic medina just outside the door. The room was beautiful, as were the roof terraces. Breakfast was lovely, offering a variety of breads, cakes, fruit salad. We ate one evening meal at the Riad and it was also very good, served in the very romantic living area. Can't wait to return, would recommend it to anyone although really don't want to let the secret out!

Cannot fault Riad Berbere in any way.

Ingrid , the wonderful manager . The food , delicious The simplicity , a contrast to the colorful, chaotic, noisy city , but yet has all the comfort The staff , the nightwatch , the cook .... The cats , which know how to keep the distance but on the lovers laps ...

İ have a very weak sense of orientation , so it took a few days for me to find my way back to the riad !,,,,,but this is only my defect.

Our stay at Riad Berbere was wonderful , we were 6 friends ladies, all + 50 . , occupied 3 rooms ( the ground floor room, room with the balcony and the terrace room) . The first few days it was a bit tricky to find our way from and to the riad , in the maze medina, but then we learned. It is a very tipical beautiful Marrakech riad , wonderfully renewed, by Quentin Wilbaux , the well known Belgian architect , who also owns the Riad Berbere. Its managed by Ingrid , the miracolous host , who knows everything about the town , and a wonderful figure with her sympathy , intelligence and beauty. The riad is a complete contrast to the chaotic medina , it is monochrome, pastel , minimal , no cheap morrocan accessories around only the essensials.... It is spotless CLEAN. ... The wonderful staf is continously cleaning the floor . They are great, they prepare delicious meals and breakfast. So is the night watch Anuoar , who accompanied us to the restaurants. The afternoon tea , breakfast in front of the fireplace , with cats ..as cats..! I wish i could go back soon .... The only place to stay in the medina .

Everything! Beautiful, calm road, like an oasis of tranquillity away from the craziness that is Marrakech. Ingrid and staff were wonderful and helpful. The food at the riad was fantastic, as was the restaurant recommendation from Ingrid.

First of all, Riad Berbere's greatest asset is their manager, Ingrid. She is friendly, helpful with everything within, and outside the Riad. Whether you want to arrange a dinner in the beautiful courtyard, or in a fancy restaurant, or get a Hammam, etc...she's ready to help. The Riad is clean, like hospital clean, not just tidy. The ladies spend much of their day washing every inch of the Riad. The courtyard is sunny and tranquil, each room is nicely airconditioned yet filled with light. The decor in the rooms and throughout the Riad are done in peaceful bleached white and neutrals, which is such a welcome reprieve after the colors and sounds of the Souks. There are also some wonderful animals relaxing about the Riad... My son's favorite was a very active turtle named Carolina. The small pool in the courtyard helped calm our energies down at the end of the day, or sometimes mid day as the location is very central. After all the meals we had in Marrakech, our very most favorite taste and ambience was Zara's many coursed meal made in the Riad for us. She made us pigeon pastilla and the most tender and not too sweet tagine of lamb and another of beef. The hammam I had was also fantastic and an excellent deal...I wish I had it daily. When I finished I felt renewed and about 20 degrees cooler. The breakfasts consist of so many fresh items, it could last you a full day...it is way beyond a "Continental Breakfast." Take the airport transfer thru Ingrid, there is no other way to find it accurately for your first time. Once there, Ingrid's landmarks will help you maneuver like a pro.
