staff food hammam
not great wi-fi
Beautiful setting, lovely rooms, charming staff. A tranquil and chic escape from the wonderful chaos and colour of the Medina.
I can't imagine a more beautiful location. Staff were very accommodating to english speaking guests.
Food was incredibly expensive given its quality and portions. Prices for soft drinks bordered on extortionary.
We only stayed 1 night at Les Deux but would have happily stayed much longer. Our room was huuuuuuge with two balconies...the hammam and massage was the best I had in Marrakech and the grounds are like a garden of eden. Service was extremely friendly, taxi drivers were kind and quick. The Palmerie is filled with great hotel options (we also stayed at Jnane Tamsna,) but this place feels like a boutique oasis! Highly recommended!
Terrible spa . N massage not enough sun beds to lay on for people who stay in hotel round the pool . Non changeable menu not flexible .
The location was perfect as we did not wish to stay in the centre. The gardens were beautiful and quiet, the staff helpful and courteous, and the hotel had a lovely atmosphere.
The ground floor suite we stayed in whilst being very authentically designed and decorated was very dark.
We loved this hotel! Beautiful settings, lovely staff, fantastic hamman. & also the food was delicious. We would defiantly be staying here again.
This is a perfect place to stay if you want quietness near the Marrakech medina. Very friendly staff, good - french oriented - food on lovely terrass and very attractive decorated rooms. It was the second we stayed here and we can highly recommend it.
There is nothing to complain about, although roomrates are high but understandable imagening the costs off all the staff and perfect services.
Glorious gardens, pool, ponds, Terrapins! Eating on the terrace a delight, quality of the food very good but would have appreciated the menu changing during the week. Very authentic Riad style with modern amenities. Attentive but not overbearing staff, a well run hotel.
Half hour drive into Marrakech medina. Possibly not the place to explore the city from but wonderful for relaxing in the sun.
The layout of the hotel was individual, very comfortable bed, the gardens and pool were lovely, food excellent, wonderful spa. We had a very relaxing time in the hotel. The staff were very good at arranging taxis for us and there was a set price for trips into town. They also arranged a trip for us with a driver, Aimed, who was very informative and we enjoyed talking to him about the customs and practices of everyday moroccan people.
A changing dinner menu would have been nice, although everything we tried was delicious. The restaurant could have been better organised at breakfast, there was a lot of milling about and a bit of a jam in the doorway. However, this is very picky as the food was lovely. The taxi service was very good and the hotel gave us a card to phone when we wanted to return. We were dissapointed that one of drivers (Halim) challenged us about why we had phoned the hotel taxi and not him directly which we found a little aggresive and uneccessary. All the others were very helpful and informative.
Beautiful classic room, open plan bed & bathroom with private loo... Massive bed & roll top bath, and fireplace. Our room was off small riad like courtyard, very quiet, you felt like the only guests. Lovely grounds, small ponds in the central gardens with lots of turtles. Kitchen gardens are worth wondering around, they keep chickens and some very cute goats.. Breakfast had a good selection of fruits, breads and pastries. They cook omelettes on the terrace.
Pool was gorgeous.. Just very cold for September.. Could have put the heating on...
Such a peaceful and relaxing place for a holiday. The staff make you feel incredibly welcome, and the grounds are stunning. A serene haven in a bustling city.
Wifi was a little temperamental, but still available in the hotel.
Food excellent and staff were very pleasant. We had a junior suite and the room was comfortable with a large king bed. It was clean and pleasant.
The server forgot our 1st course on our first night dinner. Although the service was very good they could pay more attention to the details. Our bathroom only had one towel so we had to ask for another one and the internet was non- existent. Hot water took 15 minutes to arrive and most TV Stations had snowy reception. The Palm Grove location is very dusty and the appearance is not too attractive but once you arrive on site the resort is lush and gorgeous.
staff, facilites, standard of food and accomodation were excellent.
location was great with tranquil gardens, great suite and large pool to relax around. Great breakfasts
Wi-Fi was intermittent. menu a bit limited in the evening
Room, grounds, pool, the whole setting!! Absolutely beautiful place to escape after a few days in a riad in town. We had the best of both worlds on the trip and one of the best holidays my mum and I have had in a long time. the staff were really helpful and couldn't really find any fault.
The restaurant food was very expensive -- so whilst the hotel and grounds were beautiful, and represented extremely good value for money, the cost of the stay did creep up -- the resort is not within walkable distance to anywhere else to eat so limited options other than a taxi into town.
charm, lay-out gardens, pool, breakfast terrace, kindness staff, tranquility
Beautiful hotel with amazing staff. I would highly recommend this hotel. It's lush gardens and character make it a wonderful romantic retreat. Pure luxury
Nothing. It's fabulous
fantastic balance between luxury, calm and nature with excellent hotel service
We lived the peaceful location and wonderful staff.
The overall grounds of the hotel are very nice with lots of small private spots to relax in. The idea of having small sets of ~5 rooms grouped together works well. The rooms could be perfectly described as 'shabby chic'.
The staff were polite but useless. The poolside service was non-existent. They failed to book an airport taxi which they had confirmed a week before - this could have easily caused us to miss our flights.
A little paradise, beautiful gardens, lovely pool and really comfortable rooms. good restaurant and excellent buffet breakfast. Quiet location but within easy reach of the Medina.
Very relaxed atmosphere, very helpful staff who were always eager to please if asked, arranged taxis, meals in the Medina and sorted any queries with delight... vegetable garden was well tended and colourful. Cocktail bar was a pleasure to be in, staff and ambience drew us back several times.
Possibly could do with replenishing room consumables and keeping same buzz at breakfast during week, not just weekends, dinner menu when staying for more than a short time became unadventurous (but always of good quality).
Superb standard of quality throughout. Calm and tranquil setting and overall design. Staff were exceptional in every way
A little more variety of choice for breakfast would be very welcome
peace and quiet after the hubbub of the Medina comfortable room
no restaurants nearby the hotel to provide variety
