the food was as good as any hotel in the world . the staff in the restaurant ,likewise ,were so helpful. there was only one grotty heavily tattoed ,fat slob-and he was, inevitably ,English.(guest) To be fair, he was harmless-as he was heavily outnumbered by nice French and English people. the setting of the hotel put me in mind of Singapore /Malayan hotel of the 1950`s. Divine arcades; vistas across the garden through orange,palm,jacaranda tree to a 19century mansion of impeccable taste. I can think of no place more to my liking. The Morroccan government should ask your advice about how to improve Marrakesh.,

the front desk staff ,were less forthcoming. they let the place down by being too off-hand/casual.

It was a beautiful oasis in the medina with a great bar and restuarant and beautiful rooms and bathrooms. I loved everything about it.

I thought the hammam was underwhelming.

Very attractive courtyard pool area, plus well designed rooftop sun terrace/relaxation areas. Adjacent relaxed and informal dining area with excellent menu.

Occasionally service a little slow, but nothing to seriously annoy.

A very comfortable and peaceful hotel with friendly and helpful staff. The interior garden is extraordinary. The Manager, Luc Fougère, was a great help in suggesting good places to stay for a three-day trip to the Atlas/Sahara area.

The hotel is located in a relatively poor part of the Medina, quite a long walk from the main sights and other restaurants. Dinner is relatively expensive and not always good value.

Staff were very friendly.

It was hard to get to the hoel by car.

An oasis in the heart of Marrakech

The location in the middle of the Kasbah makes it easy to discover the old city of marrakech. However dissonance between the luxury of the hotel premises and the surrounding areas.

Though being really kind and always eager to help and please you, the staff sometimes seemed slightly confused and unorganised.

The room was nice, as was the pool area, however some days the pool was very busy and not always as relaxing as I'd hoped. The restaurant was ok but expensive and the quality of food was varied greatly. The setting was lovely with the tall palm trees around the pool and the interesting building, with most of the rooms looking different externally.

The restaurant quality varied hugely from excellent to poor and it was expensive for both food and drink. We had arranged a transfer from the airport but this did not happen as they had forgotten about the arrangement when we arrived, so had to get a taxi. We were promised a free return transfer when we left to compensate but this didn't happen either as it needed to be arranged in advance apparently.

Service staff were most attentive I have experienced in a long time.

The restaurant service, as a solo traveler, was horrendous. I was repeatedly ignored while other tables sitting down after me were served wine, starters, main course and coffee. I asked four times for a single glass of wine. I finally physically stopped a waiter to order one grilled fish and half hour later was served a chicken salad. Fortunately I had a bottle of water in my bag, which I drank. The sun became quite warm and all the tables around me were offered a shade umbrella, except me. The only question I was asked (three times) was if I was traveling alone in Marrakesh. Forget that it was a bit unsettling, the male staff made it quite clear why they were not serving me. My bill came promptly but then I sat there unable to pay for another 15 minutes. I got up to go the front desk to pay and three of the waiters chased me there asking if I was going to pay!". I canceled my five night stay (ank you booking.com) and stayed at a beautiful Riad with excellent service and much better located. The only time any management followed up, even though she was sitting right there when I told e three waiters how awful my lunch experience was, was after the cancellation!! If you are a solo female, do not stay here. You have much better options in Marrakesh.

Staff was unbelievable...always friendly and helpful! Location is perfect for easy access to the medinas.

Tout est parfait dans ce Ryad, l'accueil, les petites attentions de tous les instants. On se sent choyé comme des hôtes de marque. Incroyablement beau, calme et romantique. On mange très bien.

Service peut parfois être un peu long, mais tellement souriant...

le lieux est exceptionnel, les chambres très bien et l ensemble du service de très bon niveau.Et surtout, la piscine et le jardins sont grands, en pleine médina ! la cuisine est bonne sans être géniale mais il y a beaucoup d autres restos à marrakech.

Franchement, rien et je suis difficile

Nous avons tout apprécié! L'emplacement est idéal, le cadre est exceptionnel (les jardins sont magnifiques, il y a beaucoup de recoins tranquilles ou l'on a l'impression d'être complètement seuls dans l'hotel, la piscine est très agréable, la décoration est de très bon goût), le service est impeccable, les petites attentions tout au long du séjour sont très appréciables (thé de bienvenue, patisseries marocaines dans la chambre, petits gateaux et météo portés vers 17h dans la chambre, etc), bref cet hôtel a été une très bonne surprise pour nous! Nous le conseillons vivement et y reviendrons surement. Nous pensons que cet hotel est le meilleur de Marrakech (Sofitel et Les deux tours loins derrière....)

Le seul bémol est peut etre sur la cuisine du midi, beaucoup moins raffinée que le soir et parfois pas vraiment top - en dessous du reste (toutes proportions gardées, il faut dire que le reste est tellement bien...)

La qualité de l'ensemble de l'établissement à commencer par l'accueil avec une boisson de bien venue au bar. Les chambres sont spacieuses bien décorées et un service attentionné (pétales de fleur tous les jours et gateaux le soir sur le lit)

Pour la 2 e fois dans cet hôtel, le service impeccable et discret, le cadre très agréable. Juste ce qu'il faut pour passer un excellent séjour.
