The reception. The apartment. The facilities
The grounds are beautiful. Staff were friendly.
Staff were always delayed. Late breakfast, late dinner. Dinner was cold and had no flavour.
Very helpful staff, especially Ismail. Beautiful gardens and pool. Lovely spacious rooms.
The breakfast was very good, but evening meals were mixed. One day we stayed in and the gardener spent the whole day cutting the grass until we complained eventually. Don't pay for a Souk guide - not worth the very high cost. Join a group tour.
The location was absolutely breath taking both by day and by night (we arrived at night which is slightly more stunning) and it should be noted that the online pictures of the resort don’t do the grounds any justice. The staff was great, they were both very helpful in planning events, but also proved invaluable when the airline lost our luggage by putting us in touch with a great taxi driver (Abdulilah) who not only saved us unnecessary trips to the airport to check on the status of the luggage, because the airport’s lost and found luggage staff didn’t answer their phone; but he also was the first to alert us that the luggage had arrived, 5 hours before the airport. With that being said Abdulilah organized a great impromptu trip into the market and to the wall, as well as drove us to the cooperative and a great leather store. We also received the resorts full array of spa treatments and not only absolutely loved them, but remember them as high points of the trip. All in all the food was great and the atmosphere felt other worldly.
I understand that French and Arabic are the native languages, but being a resort I did wish more of the staff spoke English, even though we made our way without too much trouble. I also wish they had a few English speaking TV stations and internet access in the rooms instead of just the lobby, as well as made a few minor repairs to the walls in the bathroom. All the aforementioned are very minor and inconsequential.
Stunning place, excellent food, beautiful pool and gardens and the staff couldn't have done more to make our stay totally enjoyable. Highly recommend the hammam and massage too - absolute bliss!
Very nice hotel outside Marrakech. Beautiful garden and pool. Large rooms and friedly, helpful staff.
Excellent and friendly staff. Great landscape with a wonderful view on the Atlas mountains. Very calm and relaxing. Ideal for family with young kids. Very family like atmosphere thanks to the limited number of rooms.
Choice of meals a bit short if you intend to have every lunch/diner there.
A beautiful relaxing oasis of calm and tranquility
very peaceful and relaxing Clean pool and apartments friendly staff
Fantastic owner family, extremely friendly and helpful. Very friendly, helpful and genuinely smiling staff that are there when you need them but not ever disturbing or annoying you with "too much" of anything. Highly recommended if you are looking for a relaxed and non-noisy place to stay not too far from bustling Marrakech.
Some stray dogs populating the surrounding areas tend to throw extended territorial fights and disputes during night time. If you are easily disturbed this might annoy you, but on the other hand it is nothing compared to the sounds of central Marrakech... :-)
