We liked everything. Said and Cherifa took great care of us and made us feel home. We will definitely come back!

Comfort, security, luxury! Said was very helpful with map and directions. Room was beautiful.

Both the Cafe & Diva rooms are on the ground floor overlooking the courtyard with the fountain which initially seemed to lack privacy... when we first arrived at the riad and was ushered into our rooms on the ground floor which we mistook as the sitting rooms and thought we were going to be served tea in the room. Hence, we were shocked to find that these were our rooms... The doors & windows to our rooms were left opened to the courtyard which after the initial shock turned out to be very pleasant - felt like we had our private courtyard since there are only 5 rooms (3 rooms on the first floor) and breakfast is served on the rooftop terrace (not in the courtyard).
A wonderful, comfortable, cozy, friendly, homey riad! The location is great - easy to find & close to Jemaa El Fna square & the souks. You are treated as a member of the family here. Charlotte (the manager) and Sayid go out of their way to make you feel very welcome. We stayed for 4 nights and were greeted every time we returned every day to the riad with complimentary mint tea & sweets! The breakfast was very generous and often included eggs (hard boiled/fried) - loved the fresh squeezed orange juice and is served on the rooftop terrace! The rooms are updated and well appointed with Moroccan decor. A truly home away from home in Marrakesh!

The staff: Charlotte and Sayed were warmly welcoming and amazingly helpful from the moment we walked through the door. I even received a phone call on my way to the airport from Charlotte, just so she could say goodbye! I wasn't expecting luxury for the price, but I have to say, this place beats all of the 5 star properties I've ever stayed at. The little details ensure you're never wanting for anything. The bathroom was incredible. The bed was the most comfortable I've had in Morocco, and the breakfast was the best as well! This is a quiet, calm, peaceful retreat only 15 minutes' walk from the main square and souks. Also very close to taxis if you need to get out of the medina. I think I would travel back to Marrakech again *just* to stay here :)

The staff made staying at this gorgeous riad a stellar experience. The location is a 10-minute walk to Djemaa el fna. It had everything I wanted for my first trip to Marrakech.

I wish at least one riad/guesthouse in Morocco would do a different kind of breakfast then the usual piles of assorted breads and pancakes with jam.
Charlotte, the owner/host, was incredible. She went out of her way continually to help us, advise us, and make us feel welcome. You couldn't imagine a better host.

Our only complaint was that the wifi was rather slow making it a pain to look things up. Other than that, no complaints!
The manager at the riad is really great. He was friendly, helpful, and really went above and beyond. He was up first thing in the morning and the last one to go to bed in the evening. He was really attentive and always available to answer questions. He even walked us to an from a few locations just to make sure we didnt get lost. His English and Spanish was great, making it easy to communicate. We were in a courtyard room. At first I was concerned about privacy, but the heavy doors and shutters make sure you have all the privacy you need. The bed is super comfortable. The room service was great. They cleaned the room well and left us some tea bags and a kettle for the afternoon! The breakfast was really great - it contained the bread and jams that are typical of Moroccan breakfast but there was a lot of variety and they included some crepes and pancakes. I was definitely full at the end of every breakfast! The riad is beautiful, with a nice courtyard in the middle and beautiful, intricate decorations. Despite it's location in the medina, it was very centrally located, making it easy to walk to and from the sites. It was also easy to find once the manager walked us to the riad once. We never had any issues locating it. The owner of the riad (Charlotte) was also very friendly and CALLED us just to say hi and welcome us to the riad since we were already out sight seeing when she had passed by. I would HIGHLY recommend this riad. It was one of the nicest places we stayed in Morocco.

Location means that you have to walk down some busy roads or find your way through the Medina to get to restaurants
Very friendly and helpful staff, lovely interior, roof terrace

I've stayed in a bunch of riads in Marrakech. This has become my favorite part of the medina because it isn't overcrowded with tourists, yet easy enough to find. In addition, A cab can get really close. The staff was wonderful & breakfast was great. This will be my first choice in the future, for sure.

I've stayed at a dozen or more riads in Marrakech. This is my favorite. The location is great as it is in a regular area with very little tourist stuff, yet a short walk to the souks and the square. Also, taxis can get really close. The breakfast was great and the staff really helpful. This will be my first choice from now on.

We enjoy a delightful stay at Maison Belbaraka. We chose this Riad after have readed several reviews of places in the Medina and it totally satisfied our expectatives. The Maison, located nearby Riad Laarouss area, is a beautiful and peaceful courtyard house, which rooms has been neatly decorated. Its location is appropriate to move across the Medina, as well as towards Gueliz. Charlotte and Rachid (the owners), as well as Said and the rest of the staff were extremely kind and warm. Because me and my wife were celebrating our anniversary, they served us a tasty Moroccan dinner. Also the plentiful breakfast, served in the terrace or in the patio, as well as the mid-afternoon mint teapots, were delicious, memorable experiences. Charlotte was extremely nice on guiding us in different aspect of Marrakech. The price-quality relationship is really convenient. Maison Belbaraka is totally recommendable to stay in Marrakech!

We got a very small room with no chairs and a step up to the bathroom.
Kosy, but special house. Very helpful and nice staff. Splended breakfast. Nice terrace on the roof.

Nothing out of the ordinary to report. Naturally, a riad is quite different from a western home, so there are certain things one needs to get used to e.g. lack of daylight in the rooms, and greater proximity to other guests than would be usual in a hotel.
Staying in a riad is an interesting experience if you do not mind the lack of daylight whilst in your room. The roof terrace provides plenty of opportunity to catch the sunlight, where meals can be taken. The Balbaraka's terrace, like their rooms, are well appointed with Arab style loungers and cushions in open tents. The rooms are large and have heavy doors and internal window shutters to reduce noise from guests arriving or leaving during the night. The staff are also very pleasant, courteous and pleased to help at any time.

Management and staff really friendly, courteous and helpful. Tastefully decorated room. Quiet environment. Wonderful breakfast. Good location re- main square, good restaurants (Cafe Arabe, Terasse des Espices), Acima supermarket & Marjorelle Gardens (15 to 20 minute walk)

The hot water ran out if you slept beyond 10am; the walk through the alleys at night was daunting at first.
The staff were all very friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was excellent.

Nothing in particular.
More or less everything was brilliant. The staff and the owner really welcoming and helpfull!

Very friendly and helpfull staff. Made our stay fantastic! The riad is at a very good location, and the riad itself is nice and kozy.

Slightly noisy in the mornings, not the most beautiful riad we stayed in (but this shouldn't put you off)
Nice location, fairly easy to find, and helpful staff.
