Staff was extremely nice. We were even upgraded to a suite, since the Double Rooms are equipped with rather short beds and we are a tall couple. Breakfast was a good value deal, even the eggs were freshly made.
Tried to print a document, No white paper.... After 12 Hours, paper came, No toner... No copy machine..... Safe is extra charge...
Really lovely hotel and beautiful decor. Brekfast was tasty and staff friendly and helpful. Great location. would defiantly recommend staying here !
The hotel theme - traditional Moroccan styling - is a good idea. General layout is attractive. Breakfasts were enjoyable. The concierge tried his best.
Bedroom furniture not clean. Poor maintenance - dead light bulbs in the bedroom and moldy, peeling mastic around the bath. No heating for cold winter nights - shiver! Unhelpful reception staff, despite the smiles. Daily charge for use of in-room safe. Cost of drinking water too high.
Excellent location, just next to CTM bus station, restaurants and the city. Breakfast was really good, but of course...not included in the price. Reception looks nice and they give you a welcome tea and cookies.
People at the reception were rude, I don´t know if it was because they didn't speak good English or what. My bedroom got a lot of noise from the next room... which happened to be a staff room...weird. The place looks old and the bathroom kind of dirty. No satellite TV... when I asked for it they just said "NO... no TV". I wouldn't stay here again... there are cheaper and better places in Casablanca
Location is good , central. Staff is nice and helpfull The rooms are special with a very typical Moroccan decor
Our room was a bit dark , but we arrived at a stormy period so maybe this didn t help. Better to arrive early at breakfast , around 10 there s not much left on the buffet.
Spa in the basement, wifi working ok, location close to Medina
A little "worn", dark and a bit too much with the decoration, but minor things
Nice room. Nice atmosphere
The bathroom was so crowded.
Staff were very friendly, which was really appreciated, as a single female traveller arriving at night. All staff spoke English to some extent and were keen to be as helpful as I needed them to be, including chatting to me over breakfast, giving me options about how to get to my next hotel by either taxi or walking, and directions when I elected to walk. Location is great - very central. We had a small misunderstanding about breakfast (it was included in my rate, but this wasn't evident on the paperwork that the staff at breakfast had) but it was resolved very quickly with apologies from the staff for the confusion. The room was simple and clean and had everything in it that you would need, including air-con.
friendly helpful staff
water pipes squeal constantly
The room was very exitic and you can feel nice atmosphire there.
The bathroom was not clean enough. When you use shower, water spills on the floor.
This hotel was located in a good area. Supermarket nearby and good restaurant opposite. Decoration of hotel and rooms were very Moroccan in style. Breakfast okay, tasty fried eggs.
The staff. They need to be trained to be polite with better customer service. My husband asked for a glass as there was only one in the room, but it was an effort to get one for him. And then we found the glass was filthy. So we decided to eat our dinner elsewhere, and also drink our drinks out of the bottle rather than ask for more glasses.
location and its originality
when you reach the floor and get out of lift, within seconds all electricity went out and it is so difficult to find the electrical plug...so this is a big problem that should be solved
The decorations were quite charming. The bellhop was very helpful. The room was quiet. Staff was helpful in letting us leave our luggage before we checked in so we would have time to visit the Hassan II Mosque
One side of the double bed was up against the wall. If the person sleeping next to the wall has to get up during the night, he/she must wake up the other person. The breakfast cost (100 dh) seemed excessive. The street adjacent to the hotel was filthy and littered with broken glass. Charging 10 dh for the city map was unwarranted - especially since the numbers on the map had no explanation. Elevator was too small for the number of guests (one of the 2 elevators was not working).
Staff was very helpful and the location was good for me because I was familiar with the area near the Port. Parking was available on the street right out front for my car.
I was assured that they accepted credit cards but when I checked out I was told their credit card machine did not work so I had to pay cash which was a problem since all banks were closed for the Eid holiday and I had a very limited amount of local currency.
Noise coming from the street until 3 o'clock at night. Very old and dirty place Breakfast relatively ok
Decour/ambiance - very Moroccan Cleanliness and comfort Great breakfast
Close to old Medina Beautiful ambiance Real Moroccan stile
Centrally located close to cmt terminal, staff was friendly
Not entirely clean, rooms in need of maintenance
The hotel is located nearby casa port train station, and there is a supermarket very closed. The staff are quite kind and helpful. They helped us book taxi to the airport.
It seems that WIFI was only available in the hall, but not in rooms. The bed clothes are not so clean that we only lied on the bedspread. My friend even saw cockroach in his room.
Fantastic breakfast compared with all other accommodations I visited in Morocco; lovely decorations in the public areas as well as the rooms
The massage was not good in my perspective (room didn't smell good, massage itself was poor, stretcher didn't have a whole for the head) and the masseuse arrived 30 min late; bed was not comfy for me; had to pay 10 DHS for a city map
Appreciated that the decor was very much in line with Moroccan style. Drapings on beds were lovely and having a small fridge in the bedroom was a bonus.
The concierge would not give me a verbal quote for us to stay there at the end of the trip - he said I must email him?
morocan style wall paper
Rooms are decorated very typically, and it is quite pleasant. The breakfast is good
The hotel was overbooked when we arrived, so we have been re booked to another hotel for 2 nights, this was really unpleasant. Even more unpleasant was the owner yelling at us because we dared to complain about that! Some people of our group have even been re booked for the entire stay. Noise in the street when there is some party (up to 6 AM!).
