Good location, clean, friendly staff, good WiFi. Beautiful Moroccan furnished welcome area and dining. Nice traditional paintwork in the room. Bed was ok, firm like most hotels in Morocco. We didn't eat at the hotel. Consider this is a budget hotel so the rooms are basic but suitable. Bathroom is basic but suitable. Hot water and heating worked well in February.
Didn't like the canopy/curtains over the bed or the leopard print bed cover, but no impact to our stay
BED COMFORTABLE, LOCATION GREAT, STAFF LOVELY.
OLD BUILDING, SHOWER WAS A NIGHTMARE SOMETIMES HOT MOSTLY COLD.
Very traditional hotel with amazing decoration.the location was pretty fine about 20 min walk to the square. Rooms nice and comfy
Too many kinds of cakes for breakfast Would prefer something more savoury
The location is very close to medina, you can walk if you enjoy that. Around the hotel is an area with shops and also a Mall. The room is big enough
The smell in the hotel and in the bathroom is very ugly. The internet connection is poor in the room. The girl from the reception is not so nice. We ask them to print the boarding card and told that they printer doesn't work ant to go to a cyber net. We ask for the bill and the prove that we paid and first she told us that is from booking and it ok that wad paid. I said that ok, is from booking but that is not a proof that I paid thinking that I paid cash and I need the bill and the receipt.
Staff spoke good English
It was cold in the downstairs rooms where you ate breakfast WiFi was not available in upstairs rooms
Distance from train and to airport, Public areas were ok but the room was a bit tired and the blankets had a slight smell. They tried to put us into a hire car for 150 ds when a taxi charged 70ds despite the meter reading of 21 ds. Airport is a regulated fair.
very pleasant staff. Very different from a standard hotel
Location was good . Staff are pleasant. Roof terrace could have comfy chairs.
Breakfast limited. Bit of toast would have helped.
Cool style! Our room was big and nice. Good breakfast.
Too cold in January in the hotel. There was no wifi signal in our room on the second floor.
Generally the hotel is good and the staff helpful. Room was comfortable and warm as I stayed in the winter. I would stay here again but perhaps only in the warmer months.
Breakfast was basic so my advice is go to one of the many cafes nearby. There was no heating in the communal areas :( There was an issue over the price of the room at check in though I suspect this is an issue with being given an estimated price by the website.
The staff were extremely helpful. When we did call reception about a problem, they cam to fix it right away. Althoygh the wifi wasn't too strong, it was available from our room.
The room was just too cold. The heater in oir room didn't seem to work. We had to call down to reception atleast twice a day for someone to come and fix it. Even when they would, the room just wasn't warm enough. We had to stay under the covers justso we didn't catch a cold. Although my friend and i both did fall ill. I will have to say that the temperature of the room contributed to that I feel bad leaving a bad review as the staff were nice, but i have never experienced such a cold hotel room. I wouldn't go back I'm afraid.
The staff was quite rude which made us feel uncomfortable. There was no hot water in our initial room and had to move. Our room was absolutely freezing! Thankfully, there were extra blankets available otherwise we would have froze (no the air conditioning was not on). Granted the hotel is quite inexpensive but I have paid less for accommodation before and have had a much more enjoyable experience. I would not go back. Side note: You have to pay an extra fee to use the safety box in your room.
Hotel was in a good location. The lobby and dining area was very Moroccan style.
The key to the door was enormous. The bathroom door did not lock as I was sharing with a friend so was uncomfortable when using the loo and shower. Taps weren't working properly and were leaking. The duvet had bobbles on it so I couldn't get to sleep comfortably. The breakfast wasn't great as I've had better in Marrakech.
I do like everything
Free upgrade to bigger lovely room with earlier check in. Breakfast buffet was good but maybe don't prepay, just pay at the restaurant if you leave early mornings and plan trips. Staff was friendly, helpful and most people spoke english or would get someone that could speak it. Great freebies in the Bathrooms ( shaver, thootpaste, shaving creme ......) Love the design and architecture of Moroccan hotel and yes the room design is moroccan too but rooms are a little run down.
No kettle. No wifi in our room so we sit in reception area for many hours to book our next 3 flights and 3 apartments but bonus reception area seating is comfy , beautiful and offers a coffee service at cost. Outside car parking we had our rent car damaged and people in the hotel did not really care, this was very stressful for us. No breakfast for us on our last day as we left before 7 am i did mention this as we payed for breakfast and got told we would get a coffee and a packed something but we did not get this. Unfortunate pool area has no wifi either. Also we did not get a welcome Moroccan tea but after seen other people getting this and mention this we did get the tea.
Location, helpful staff
Poor room maintenance
Breakfast served on the terasse and of reasonable value
Slightly over decorated making the place dark. Bathroom fittings (taps) outdated
over-the-top decor, helpful english speaking staff, good breakfast buffet, clean, felt safe and comfortable.
weak slow wifi (although better than most places that I stayed in throughout Spain and Morocco). room could use more electrical outlets.
Loved the decor and friendly, helpful staff. Location was great and I thought it was excellent value for the cost.
Not a big deal but pillows were lumpy. Hot and cold in showers was hit and miss. Breakfast was adequate but we chose not to pay the extra the last night we stayed there. There were many coffee shops close by with excellent pastries.
The staff were fantastic... They couldn't do enough for us. The bedrooms were interestingly decorated but it added to the Moroccan feel.
Sorry the breakfasts were not very inspiring.
Location, staff and good value for money
Poor Wi Fi otherwise not much
What stands out the most at this hotel is the friendly and helpful staff. They speak good english and did their best to make sure that our stay would be as comfortable as possible.
Thin walls and doors, some nights we could hear everything that was going on outside our room.
Everyone was friendly.
Pool to cold doesn't get much sun.
No wi fi in room
Very helpful and friendly staff, interesting and varied nice breakfast. Hotel is very child friendly. We had a good stay in this quirky budget family hotel. If we went to Marrakech again we would go for the full adventure and stay somewhere in the old city.
We had a problem with unwashed sheets on arrival. No storage space and a small quadruple room. Miniature balcony that was useful just to hang towels really.
