Bungalows were very comfortable, clean and the bathrooms were excellent. There is a lot of privacy and a fantastic nights sleep. There are two very nice pools, including one which is very peaceful and secluded. There are lots of things to do like treks and walks from the hotel which are great. Most of all the food is absolutely fantastic.

Don't follow the recommendation in the guide book that there are mountain bikes available as this is not the case, however there are plenty of other things to do.

A beautiful hotel in a perfect setting, this was the ideal break after 5 days in Marrakech. It's definitely worth doing a trek in the mountains to see the salt mines and Berber villages. The pools are very comfortable and the staff are all friendly. We had good food, and the cabins/bungalows are spacious and clean.

Beautiful place just an hour drive from Marrakech. The hotel is in great shape and the gardens are stunning. The rooms are very comfortable and you get a lot of privacy in you own litlle bungalow in the middle of the olive trees. The pefect place to be near nature and relax by the pool. We enjoyed trekking in the mountains in the morning and returning to our private paradise in the afternoon to enjoy lunch by the pool. The couple in charge of the place is adorable and the atmosphere is really cool!

    No negative comments at all!

The tranquility, picturesque gardens, friendly service, cleanliness, facilities in the rooms, tasty food, fabulous swimming pools all make L'Oliveraie De Marigha the most wonderful destination. The Atlas Mountains, visible in every direction are stunning - a fabulous backdrop from the terrace where meals are served throughout the warmer months. The rustic charm experienced here is so vastly different from the city. With the capability of trekking into the mountains and seeing Berber Village, or taking in the experience of the Asni Souk on a Saturday this hotel is perfectly situated for the odd day trip. Providing table tennis, petanque and mini golf as well as the pools, young and old alike can enjoy the facilities. The on site Hammam was a great experience - followed by a relaxing massage by an experienced masseur we were impressed. The set menus offered an interesting mix of Moroccan/ Mediterranean food, with a vast range of pizzas being available. This place is definitely worth a visit - we only wish we could have stayed longer!

We felt the whole experience of staying here was wonderful... we have only a few suggestions which could improve the overall stay: An extra cabinet for storage in the bedrooms; More variety in the breakfast menu; The opportunity to take just one course from the set menu for hotel guests / or more basic salads and sandwiches.

suberb location in the mountains, very clean and friendly and helpful staff

breakfast a tad bit frugal, lunch and evening menu to ambitious. Should rather stick to simple and local cuisine. Director smoking in front of guests

The location is perfect for trekking into the hills, and only 90 minutes drive from Marrakech. The accommodation is nicely spaced out and each chalet is surrounded by olive trees which give one a sense of privacy. The rooms are air conditioned, the beds are comfortable and the shower worked well. The restaurant area is beautifully situated looking out over the pool with the Atlas mountains as the backdrop. The food was good, if a little expensive. The staff were friendly and helpful, and helped us to make the most of our stay in the area. Overall this is a great antidote to the heat and bustle of Marrakesh, very pretty and chilled and I would definitely recommend L'Oliveraie to friends.

I can't think of anything at all that I did not like about this place - as long as you want peace and relaxation then it's great. They don't have much in the way of on site entertainment, so probably not great for families with young children.

Great place - peaceful and quiet in the olive forest surrounded by beautiful mountains - for us it was a great escape to civilized world as we were a little tired of typical moroccan places with noise and smell

Perfect getaway place only 1h away from Marrakech, set in a huge, beautifully kept olive grove - you can taste the first press in the restaurant... The room/bungalow was spacious and came with a fireplace which was essential come the evening. Attentive and friendly staff and great breakfast too!

it is definitely worth to book the "premium room" - wonderful mountain view, very spacious room and athmospheric fireplace, which also works well ( and is much needed during winter times ;-) - very nice dinner !

Breakfast was better in other Hotels and Riads - public rooms (for breakfast and dinner ) a bit "spartanic" , not much athmosphere

The room was lovely and calm. The gardens were beautiful. Staff all very friendly. Food good.

Breakfast was a bit dull - all bread and carbohydrate based and the same every day. I would have liked more eggs, cheese etc. Dinner menu a bit formal.

The hotel is excellent! Rooms are so comfortable and nice. The breakfast is very good and the lunch and dinner are even better, a lot of choice. Mostly french cuisine. Very tasty and they serve nice wines and beers. The pool is large and clean with a lot of sunbeds. The view from the pool is overwhelming. This was our best hotel from our trip of 14 days in Morocco. The people who run the hotel are so helpfull and friendly. Merçi beaucoup!
