Value for money

Palais Clementina is a beautifully rustic hotel. A lovely haven just 15 mins drive from the hustle and bustle of town. All staff were friendly and attentive. Excellent value.
Good breakfast but the same every day. Other meals have to be ordered in advance with no flexibility but there is an excellent restaraunt 10 mins walk down the main road which we found on our last day.
The staff were more than helpful and the hotel itself offered everything you need on a holiday. A really great place , would definitely go back.
The evening meal wasn't the best but breakfast was great. Location was a bit far from town so I would recommend to bring a car.
Location, excellent suites, value for money, staff and service. Thank you Mr. Magid, Naima and the rest of the staff for making our stay memorable!
+ Quiet. + Rooms are quite large (but very poorly furnished). + Staff is friendly.
- The water plumbing is very poor. The toilet flush tank refills only after 10 minutes. The flow of water in the shower was unsteady (from no flow, to very hot, to cold). - I cannot think of a hotel where we had a poorer breakfast. The "breakfast included" feature is a joke. - We took 2 rooms. Air conditionning did not work in one of the rooms. - TV did not work. - Swimming pool access costs extra (no impact on us because of weather). - Rooms contain strict minimum furniture, and whatever exists is of very cheap quality. - The pictures on booking.com are much, much nicer than the real thing. - This probably explains why there were very few guests at a time when most hotels in Marrakech were full (New Year' Eve). - We wanted to change hotels after the first night, unfortunately we had alreaxy paid for both nights upon arrival.
I thought the staff at the Palais Clementina where amazing, nothing was too much trouble. I will recommend staying here to everyone I meet.
The rooms are very big, the setting is amazing, and the swimming pool is very good.breakfast was decent as well. Very relaxing place. Mme Naima at reception was really nice and helpful.
The staff (excluding Mme Naima at reception) didnt seem very friendly: considering we had a wedding there the previous night where we payed a good amount they were not friendly enough and they charged us for every litlle thing. The shower was not working at our room (they had to call the plumber to come and fix it). The place is awesome but I think the client orientation is non existant, that is the biggest issue.
Everything was perfect!
Very, very impressed by this hotel, and I have had my fair share of hotels. Superb, friendly personnel, the manager gave us a free upgrade to the most luxurious suite. Spacious, beautiful grounds, lovely pool. Food very good, warm bread, tasty, juicy orangecakes for breakfast, cobined with fresh oj and tea and omelets. No choice, but very good quality. Dinner of the highest quality, try the Berber tajine with chicken, olives and preserved lemon and/or the tajine with beef and cinnamon prunes.
Location somewhat out of town, but we did not mind as we had our own car. Note: location is 8 km south of town, not 36 to the east as online navigation says. Reported this to the manager and booking.com, it is confusing when finding the place for the first time. Also the suites do not have airco, even though booking.com stated so on their site. This is quite unbearable in summertime, but they got us a ven, apparently the only one in the hotel, which was good service. Too little shade at the pool, which has extremely comfy beds with large pillows, only 2 parasols int he whole place, which is not nearly enough, considering we kept on moving them between the terrace and the restaurant area. Manager knows this and will get more. Overal, superb stay, with excellent staff and true friendliness.
I can count as a local and I chose this place over any other party hall, had my wedding there...best place in marrakech, with an awesome staff and manager, catered to us like it was our home..my guests were in love. Definitly worth it
Liked everything about this hotel. The staff are wonderful, the bed was very comfortable, the food was great. We enjoyed 5 really relaxing days around the pool area. Only ventured out once. One of the most relaxing holidays we've ever had.
Everything perfect for such a fair price
Poor breakfast, hard to find, reception not 24h
Fantastic staff lovely pool beautiful decor very quiet
Could have been more information/menus not within walking distance of anywhere
Overall a lovely hotel but they let themselves down in simple areas which are easy to fix. The staff were always very helpful and jumped at any chance to be of assistance. We were staying on our honeymoon and were initially disappointed the room we had booked had 2x twin beds when we had requested double rooms. Also disappointed the room had no view when site states it will have one of 3 rooms. When enquiring about this we were told that was only when available but this isn't stated on the website. They kindly upgraded us without extra cost to a larger room (without view) which was beautiful but the place was in general quite cool. Would have been lovely in 50 degree heats which it can reach but it was in the low 20s when we were there.
Located ~10minutes (100 morrocan dirhim) out of the medina. Close enough but does add extra expense to your trip. Breakfast was very average with no options or choice, no water unless you pay for it. Breakfast was bread, an omlete and pancake... I normally like to have a few options... The Wifi only really worked in the public areas, not in the room or in the dining room. This should be improved.
The rooms were large with large modern bathrooms(executive suite) staff very good and friendly great view of Atlas Mountains .breakfast was the usual morrocan style with plenty to eat.
The location is not where it says on booking.com or google maps .is about 4km along the ourika valley rd but not a problem if you are in a car
The room was superb staff very very helpfull
It advertised outside the hoteL BAR & RESTAURANT but infact it didnot have a bar & the restaurant was very limited
Beds very comfortable fantastic lady on reception so kind and helpful
Food very poor choice for breakfast , lunch and dinner same set menu very disappointing no alcohol available at hotel have to buy yourself bathrooms need updating paint hanging off celing new taps etc
The staff were very welcoming and very helpful, The bedrooms were very comfortable and luxurious, the house and grounds are beautiful, I liked the grand piano and the swimming pool. We are sending family&friends...
-amazing building -huge executive suite -nice owner -beautiful garden
-lack of English speaking staff -expensive shuttle to airport and town -no fruits at the breakfast
Wonderful setting, great spacious suites, a lot of detail in decoration throughout the hotel. The pool is also great and suitable for kids as well. The garden is perfectly maintained and nice for a small stroll. Breakfast was fine but could be extended with some fruit or vegetables. Staff members were all very helpful. One important detail. The hotels is located is 8,5 KM down the Route de l'Ourika, so the map on booking.com is not right (which the hotel confirmed to us) It’s a 20 minute drive from the hotel to Marrakech ville-nouvelle. We did like the location outside the city center but if you don’t have a rental car and want to eat out in the evening this could be very inconvenient.. As a family we would stay there again. Great setting and wonderful staff members. Thanks guys!
It feels strange to comment on something we enjoyed so much but there are point where some progression can be made. The room could be cleaned better, our toilet did not look so fresh and all the lights witches were not cleaned for a long long time. Secondly there was a nearby wasp’s nest and these insects bother you at the morning breakfast. Nevertheless great value for money!
New team with new management clearly making great improvements. I loved the attention to our well-being, the "can do" attitude. There is clearly a nice new start at Clementina. Great place with a great team.
The pool mattress were about to be re upholstered when we were there. It is a shame it had not been done earlier. But that should not deter any new customer as this should have been done now.
I loved the serene and beautiful views. One of the rooms that we were offered was the most GRAND and SPACIOUS rooms I have ever stayed in. It had a separate massive lounge and very large bathroom. The view from the balcony was awesome. I guess a lot depends on what room you book as we had direct sun light in our executive room. The staff was friendly and very welcoming esp Majid.I love the fact that it had wifi which is always a bonus.
I didnt like the fact that we had to pay 200 dihrem every time we had to go to the centre as most of the attractions were there.
so good staff very nice we will go back same hotel
Beautiful building, very spacious, superb artwork on the walls and ceilings. Outside gardens and view of mountains were amazing. Will definitely recommend to others. Had a great time
staff attitude, size of rooms, food.majid the manager was fantastic.would highly recommend the clementina especially the suites which were the best value rooms i have ever stayed in-they were bigger than my flat.
breakfast could be a little slow.100DHS to get into town.
