- Large room - Large hotel - Great pool area - Friendly pool staff - On the beach - Nice walk to marina - Excellent choice of options for breakfast
- 50 minute walk to marina (I did know that when I booked!) - Average customer service in the first week (apparently some of their staff were on strike) - The quality of the food at dinner wasn't great - Hotel room was very cold at night (for the first week)
More fascilities for daily meals and warmer rooms.
Quality of Wi Fi.
- large rooms, clean and comfortable - nice breakfast (made to order omelettes, pancakes) - staff at SPA, nice massages - grounds are lovely, well maintained
- staff protest during the duration of our stay (picketing outside, apparently due unfair dismissal) -lots of building work -bulky items stored in corridors - no wifi in rooms!! - swimming pool in spa was closed, gym when it reopened during our stay, was dirty and was not cleaned after building works -room was constantly missing shower gel and shampoo!
Nice pool, big lobby, on the beach, quiet, out of town
It was cold, ok it's December but the heating in the room didn't work. There was no alcohol served in the hotel. I didn't see that on their website. The manager told me it's alcohol free. It's ok if you just want somewhere quiet for a week to read a book but if you want a bit of fun stay nearer the marina.
The extents the staff go to for you to have a pleasant stay is fantastic. The right attitude. They even gave me a surprise for my birthday. Would only stay here if I ever went again.
calm and quiet place. staff reserved but very helpful when approached. evening food was good also breakfast. gardens and swimming pool. comfortable lounge furnishings. room was spacious and warm. we asked for a heater and within minutes had one brought to the room.
there was a peacful no hassle labour strike outside main entrance, but to be fair we saw this on some other hotels too. outside walls needs a lick of paint. no variety on evening entertainment. smell relating to shisha pipe smoking,
Breakfast was ok only
The staff were poorly managed and was getting the run around for changing a room due to lack of heater. After much persuations i was transfered to a worse room. The staff were under skilled
Got myself a good haircut on the spot.
The SPA services could be better.
poor and delay check in and out. no internet in the room
Vert Nice pole
Environment (beach and swimming pool) Room cleanliness Breakfast
The first reception was slow. The hotel is at about 50 minutes by walking to restaurants and the restaurant of the hotel close to the beach was not excellent in contrast with those in the city. Wifi is only available in the lobby and its quality varies during the day.
Staffs (especially Mohamad from concierge), Facilities, pool, location, food.
No wifi in room just in receprion :(
- NICE swimming pool / nice beach - location - hotel staff - reception - big rooms - clean - tasty food
- no music in the swimming room area ( only 2 times some sport exc. )
Position, view from the window.
The room was dirty. The staff absolutely not prepared, For every question the answer was i don t know. We had to carry by ourselves the luggages without anything for almost 300mt. The only restaurant open it didn t have any plate of the menu, and was very expensive for that poor quality. The room was at 68€/n maybe not so much for a big hotel like this, but over all was a bad experience.
Tous etais excellent
The weather and the beach ... Morrocan city was lovely ..Agadir is stunning But, The hotel " Palais Des Roses' (place of death) where I stayed was so horrible , dangerous and food poisoning . Reception staff rude and helpless
Almost everything horrible , I don't know how to start.... But let's start by the staff: Poor customer service at the reception ,you have to keep on calling and asking until they respond but you end up by being disappointed most of the time .... Watch out when you eat food , make sure you are not eating a row chicken ... I had a horrible night owing to a uncooked chicken which caused a looseness of the bowels and sharp abdominal pain , I have called the reception for help, but someone told me that they don't provide medication at the hotel ,I was dying from pain because of the hotel's food poisoning . I kept on asking help on the phone but none came to see me in the room .. Even though I told them to pay what ever cost just to get someone or medication to kill the strongest infection I've ever had ... The receptionist called me back to let me know that no pharmacy was open .it was very humiliating to hear that the pharmacies were close and no action was taken ... It was an issue of death or life for me ... The only option I had was to call the kitchen staff to get some cumin and hot water ... Fortunately , I got some cumin which I used as a medication . But it didn't remedy the pain which got stronger , I really cried the whole night alone in the toilet ,because of the strong diarrhoea . I slept around 4:30 in the morning .. I woke up very late with a little bit of pain . I couldn't have breakfast . I went to the reception to find out about the last night . One of the staff felt sorry and said that there is normally a nurse in the hotel and they can call a doctor in case of emergency ... The only excuse that they provide which is a big joke again was because of a trainee staff who doesn't know the hotel's services yet. Very ridiculous !!!!, how would you imagine that a trainee staff doing a night shift alone !!!!!!! I've heard that the kitchen chef is not happy as not getting a logic salary .....
The hotel has good design with amazing swimming pool and the hotel has good location right by the beach.Hotel and the rooms are spacious with nice view. The staff on the reception was always very helpfull.I think this hotel is perfect for families with kids as well as older couples.
The only think is restaurant! While everything else in the hotel was just perfect and made us happy. The restaurant and it's staff was dissaster and it make me for the firs time in my life to go complain. There was not enoug staff available and these who were present were not helpfull. Everyday was difficult to find free table because they didnt clean the used ones or they prepared just half of the tables available in the restaurant. We has to always seach for cutlery, tissues, cups....And for 7 days we stayed there was no change in the breakfast menu.
The location only.
The hotel rooms smelt of stunk, had spiders hanging down the walls, over 30 bugs flying around the room, the bed was broken, the phone was not working, the safe was not working, towels are a luxury there, demotivated staff, dirty pools... Etc. Now when it comes to breakfact, it was an experience of its own; no food, no seats, no service and very dirty. As a result, we had to checkout and move to the Sofitel next door. Just to clarify, we went to Palais Des Roses two summers ago and the experience was different. Although it wasn't top luxury, it was a fair and comfortable 4 star hotel. Whatever happened next will remain a mistery for us. Next again for us!
- The swimming pool - the beach.
- the hotel from out side is awsome. - from inside is very old with a woody smell which was annoying . - the staff at the reception were not smiling with a very dirty uniform . - I arrived at 12.30 at the after noor , when I want to do my check in the staff ( ahmed ) stated that I have to wait until 2 pm from my check in without any appology or excuses. - He was very rude and arogant . - I m ashmatic and I requeted him to give me a room with a good working AC and he stated that the AC is centralised and He can not do something about it . - It was only one elevator which was working among 2 . - the room was clean however was very old , and did not deserve the price . - The room was not equiped with an iron , and shampoo , we have to beg them for the shampoo every day . - No drinking bottles of water were offered , they stated that we have to buy it . - the houskeeping were very loud , you can not sleep properly . - The AC was not working at all and they do not provide u with a FAN . - the internet is not working in the room only at the lobby . - No busniss lounge was provided forthe guest. - the location is wrong as u have to pay more than 50 MDH to reach the city . -The worst breakfast you will get at the hotel , only scramble eggs as a main dish . - Not recommended at all
didn't sell alcohol
The swimming pool was so nice!one of the nicest iv seen. And it was very peaceful laying by the pool. The rooms all had balconys which was nice and we had a balcony looking over the beach and swimming pool. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was right on the beach also.
Breakfast wasn't good at all. Poor selection and the fruit wasn't good, (not that they had much of it)
