Offering an outdoor pool, a garden, a spa and wellness centre, Hotel Sahrai is located in Fès, a 10-minute drive from the old Medina. Free Wi-Fi access is available in all areas.
Score from 27 reviews Excellent
Absolutely everything from the cleanliness, the hotel staff to the spa.
Wifi is not always the best signal everywhere, however, we are suppose be there and relax not surfing on internet.
Staff very attentive, extremely helpful, even getting train tickets for us. Not searching for a tip either. Recommended.
One of the tour guides may have got back handers from his mates shops. Paying the final bill was stressful as morocco and UK didnt like to speak regards credit card payments. No fault of the hotel whatsoever.
Hospitality Kindness & willingness of staff
Stunning interior architecture. Unique, traditional refinement with all the latest comforts. Beauty everywhere you look. Style, attentiveness, discretion of staff. No exception. Immediate response to all requests. Quality/price value. Got a great recommendation for dinner. Courtesy chauffeur to take us to competing restaurant! Arranged fun, highly knowledgeable guide (Abdul) to tour the Medina. Great views from top floor. Free WIFI worked flawlessly. Lovely pool. Palais Faraj simply made our stay in this extraordinary city.
Not a single negative point ( we stayed 5 nights)
Try the food at the terrace restaurant. We loved it there.
Ideally located at the top of the Medina. The facilities are excellent, very clean, and retaining the character of the original palace.
The selection of food, especially the casual food bar service was limited.
Everything...the suites (the smallests were super), bathrooms, shower. Nice bed with very confortable sheet (600) nice cosmetic for guests. The staff was incredible and made everything easier during our stay. The restaurant had excelent food and wines besides a super overlooking view over the medina. Strongly recommend if you want to see a restored palace from inside.
Few options in the international cuisine Restaurant prices elevated (offsetting the nice prices for the suites) No alcohool (only wine at the restaurant. No alcohool at all at the minibar)
Everything was good
Staffs were good but they were looking to ur puket for any such services
This hotel is absolutely beautiful! I have no words to describe our experience in this place! We got the Ambassador suite which was amazing and so romantic! To be in this hotel is like visiting a museum, it has a beautiful and elegant decoration and the staff is always helpful and polite! They really make their best to help you with everything! It is indeed the best hotel in Fes and I would come back here without any doubt! If you can afford it, don't think twice, this hotel is the best ever! Be prepared to immerse yourself in one of the most beautiful experiences in terms of hotels! Don't miss the spa! Very nice hammam and massages!
I would recommend just a little improvement on breakfast which I found a little bit poor for the high quality of the rest of services of the hotel.
excellent location, gorgeous property, the best breakfast all around, very clean rooms and the most beautiful view from the room and the breakfast room
Location and decor.. The staff were unfailingly courteous and rightly proud of the hotel.
We had greater anticipation of the cusine, which to be honest was pretty ordinary and is the weak link in your presentation. The staff were well meanig and tried hard but they lacked experience in service and how to handle the wine. Shaking the bottle to see if there is any left does not inspire customer confidence and again was due to lack of training. You may think of opening the spar earlier as we had to leave at midday but were sadly unable to take advantage of this excellent faciltiy.
Actually all is good.
The staff really tried very hard to cater to all our needs
There was not much to complain about. A little irritant is when they maid came to clean up she would take out the card for electricity and our phones were not charging when we thought they were. The maid was obviously trained to do this to save electric costs.
Spa was excellent Food was good Every thing perfect except ..
...The guide arranged by the hotel was more interested in making money from us than guiding us It's a racket. Looked like there is a nexus with the hotel.
Alles was perfect, toplokatie, tophotel, topservice. Beste restaurant van Fes.
Nice place, with good staff. It is a typical Moroccan Riad,, with lovely atmosphere,
I thought the food was very average, I had read the reviews on booking.com and was expecting something much better.
GREAT! Everything about that place is just fine.
Have stayed in other 5 star hotels for business and work in different parts of the world. Have never experienced such hotel / service / Bkfast was awesome, best time of my life. Happy to paid what I've paid!
Everything - it is just the ideal hotel that personifies quality comfort and service - simply brilliant
Beautiful hotel Breathtaking views Very helpful staff
The location, the beauty of the place with a very nice view, the staff
The moroccan details are beautiful throughout the hotel and dinner in the restaurant overlooking the medina is not to be missed. Hammam was a welcome respite after a day of touring and bartering. Very spacious junior suite for 2 adults, one child.
Gracious helpful staff. Extraordinary hotel design, food and service. Many thanks to the front desk manager Nasser who, apart from his help, was a was a pleasure to talk to. Faraj is a special experience.
This place is just a dream. Profesional and friendly. Helpful and stylish. Just perfect.
Good location, on the edge of the old city walls, but a 10 minute or so walk to the medina. The walk to the medina is through some dark narrow streets so may be uncomfortable for some people, but we always felt safe. The building has a nice feel to it, lovely patio, our suite was pleasant and nicely decorated and clean. Breakfast was very good, and the terrace has great views over the medina. Free wifi worked well all over the hotel.
Would like tea / coffee facilities in room. Staff were indifferent and I would urge management to do something about staff training. If they sort that, this good hotel could become a great hotel.
