Beautiful! The staff was excellent! The location was perfect. It is on the wall of the medina but the entrance is on the outside of the medina. So you could drive up and drop off your luggage at the front of the hotel. You could easily get around for site seeing and shopping. The room was spacious and covered in beautiful mosaic tiles. My only problem was that we could not stay longer. Wonderful hotel.

Breakfast was a little small and mostly cold. If you did not want cold cut meats, yogurt, or cereal you were out of luck. The fruit was yummy though.

This hotel is beautiful, spacious, with very nice (decorated, tiled, clean) rooms, comfortable beds, public areas, and very polite, helpful staff. The restaurants/bar are on the top floor, with great views of the Medina/hillside and very good food.

I loved everything about it, the location, the view from our balcony, the decoration,the food at the restaurant,the friendliness of the staff. Simply its prefection!

I suggested to install a mirror in front of the desk in the room, as a lady I do have a lot of make up & accecories which the bathroom is too tight for it.

Excellent small luxury hotel. The new gem of Fez. Good value for the quality. Very friendly staff. Very clean. Excellent bed quality. Quiet. Accessible by car. Beautiful and neat renovation work, which is exceptional in a medina. Lovely spa.

Ask for the breakfast's specials. The buffet offers only continental dishes. We didn't know that. It's on the second day of our stay that we realized we had to order for special morrocan breakfast. Included in the price anyway

Very nice decor and courteous staff

This is fairly new hotel situated at the entrance to the old city/ Medina. The restaurant actually offers views of the old Medina. The rooms were very well finished in traditional Arabic decor. The Mini bar offers Coke, Sprite and bottled water which is free of charge, (In the Ambassador suite). Staff were very kind and helpful. Restaurant offered good local quality traditional food and wine at a reasonable price. Service in the restaurant was good. Rooms were very clean. Upon request the Hotel provided a very good official tour guide to tour the old part of the city.

Being a new hotel (opened for only 6 months), it is quite obvious that not all the facilities are fully available yet even though they are advertised. Although staying in the Ambassador suite we were not offered use of the spa or massage, or even the beauty products as advertised. A bit over priced considering the national average and what was actually on offer. The hotel claims that free wi-fi is available, this was not the case and I only managed to pick up a connection in the restaurant. There are no tea or coffee making facilities in the rooms, which I know is a western facility, but should be available from a hotel of this category. There is also a lack of information available regarding facilities, tours and day trips etc with the client having to ask to obtain this kind of information. There is only one reception desk with one clerk which caters for check in- out, queries, requests and money exchange causing ques.

Wifi didn't work at Ambassador Suite, one of the hotel's best. How come?

The only slight criticism was the service at the bar wasn't too quick. Swimming pool was freezing!

Exceptional levels of service throughout. The palace was restored to its original glory with great attention to detail; art is on display throughout. The hotel offers various additional services which greatly complement the accommodations. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Fez.

From the moment we arrived, the staff at Palais Faraj took amazing care of us. The well appointed suites and beautiful restoration was breath taking and their location at the south end of the old medina was perfect to get in and out of. Their roof top terrace for breakfast has one of the best views of the old medina in the city, great breakfast (included in the room price) and the staff was very attentive and by day two knew exactly what we needed. The spa was clean and comfortable - spa staff was very good with their treatments and I had a great massage. The room was beautiful - incorporating the three aspects of Moroccan architecture - cedar, tile and plaster. A top notch experience - thank you to the staff and owners of a great hotel!

The hotel was amazing and their service and they way they treat you is worth to revisit again.

Their Spa is amazing and the service is excellent, very friendly environment mixed with luxury.

It’s rare for a hotel to capture the spiritual essence of the city, while providing its guests complete modern day luxury. Palais Faraj rooms make you feel like you’re staying in a museum. The restaurant roof top breathe taking views of the Madina take you centuries back in time. Wonderful, relaxing accommodations are provided at the beautiful pool and spa. Best of all are the people at this hotel – who make you feel welcome and very well taken care of. Make sure to visit the rooftop restaurant, even if just for a cup of tea, it may end up in some wonderful conversations.

If I give you one bad point, the location is distant from medina( which is the main sightseeing point). I always use taxi from hotel, but taxi service is very low cost.

Excellent place, one of the best hotels I have seen in Morocco. Staff extremely professional yet friendly. Wonderful hammam. Excellent moroccan cuisine in the restaurant both breakfast and dinner. Would recommend to anyone without doubts.

It was quite expensive to stay here, but I think sometimes you need a bit of comfort, probably best to only stay for one or two nights maximum

Great staff! Beautiful place. Extremely nice and relaxing hammam. Very good food on a beautiful terrasse overlooking the medina. Very romantic! The swimming pool size allows to really swim, which is quite unique for a ryad in Fes. Perfect location. An oasis of calm at the doorstep of the medina. We will go back.

Double thumbs up. Masyallah. Seriously very welcoming.Greeted by the ever cheerful Sales Manager Rachid El Amrani along with Moroccan tea and delicious pastries. An insightful tour of the palace and getting to know the surrounding around us made us feel more comfortable.They even have a library! Room was simply royalty with an amazing view of Fes. The view from the top terrace is just priceless too. The city during the day and at night the swimming pool is an awe. Took a honeymoon package catered with a nice romantic dinner. That night the room was full with candles and red roses everywhere. Truly a memorable moment for us. Hotel environment was quiet. Perfect for honeymooners. Staffs were very friendly and ever accommodating too. The place is actually new and I may say everyone is on top gear. Really enjoyed ourselves there. :-) overall Amused! Alhamdulillah...

I love the breakfast... Freshly made pancakes and a variety of Pastries. Though I was hoping for more meat! Meat lover... Overall the restaurant service is exceptionally fast and efficient. Feels like you have a personal butler. >;-P

l'accueil et le service sont excellents. Le personnel est aux petits soins. Les soins dans le SPA sont magnifiques avec un excellent rapport qualité/prix le restaurant panoramique est très agréable et la nourriture délicieuse. Certainement la meilleure table de Fes.
