This is a basic hostel, though it has some charm and an excellent location for exploring the medina area. The breakfast is surprisingly good and will fill you up until the afternoon.

The rooms are very cramped but there are public areas to hang out in. The wi-fi often drops out and needs to be reset but when it's working it's fast.

I stayed at the rainbow hostel for 4 nights. I was greeted by a very warm, welcoming and relaxed member of staff called syed. He gave me Berber tea with some sweets and made me feel very welcome. His knowledge of customs and his innate ability to tune into others needs was remarkable. He was very willing to explain the Berber culture and answer any questions that I had about marrackech . He gave me helpful hints about the places to avoid in regard ro eing exploited and which ones to visit. The woman that did my henna was also very nice and proficient. The turtles on the terrace were also very cute.

I didn't like the man in charge. I found him unfriendly and he added an unpleasant atmosphere when he was there. On the last night he decided to turn all the lights out at midnight and we were constantly being told to be quiet whilst we were talking. He appeared to be very unpleasant to syed, who to be honest runs the hostel single handedly. This added an uncomfortable atmosphere. I felt syed had the people skills required to be in sole charge of this hostel and that the other man would be better off just leaving him to it! The man in charge also refused a guy entrance to the hostel just because he was morrocon, which I found totally unacceptable. The breakfast although nice, could have been better as there was a lot of bread and lacked diversity. However it was always served with a smile.

The warm welcome of the staff, the nice colourful decoration of the Riad. Very conveniently located close to the main square ! Good breakfast in the morning .

A bit noisy in the morning and at night as the riad was full. The mattress of the bed could be changed ...

the staff is very friendly and wants to help you with everything. the accommodation is clean. they offer a very nice cooking class. The hostel offfers a lot of excursions.

cold showers, it's hidden in a alley, it's difficult to find on your own if you have'nt been tot the hostel before.

Right in the centre of Marrakech Medina, hostel was cleaned every day by lovely maids, the staff boys were very attentive and promptly got us everything we needed. It was more of a second homes instead of a backpackers accomadation. Hoping to head back to Marrakech again, will definately stay here.

Great time! The employees get you everything you need and it was perfect for my time there.

There was nothing I didn't like about the hostel but it may not be perfect for everyone. Very loud at night due to open concept.

When I arrived, having had an unfortunate cash loss incident, hicham was very helpful and understanding, allowing me to stay until more money had cleared in my bank account. He was reassuring and made me feel relaxed - no mean feat considering the state I was in. The guesthouse cooked a fantastic dinner on the first evening, which was great value for money. Breakfast - included in the price - was massive and kept me going until the evenings. I would highly recommend this place and I will be booking here again when I return to Marrakech.

    Not a damn thing.

Breakfast is ok Rooms quite clean

I strongly discourage you to go there: - Unfriendly management - the guy told me to leave the hostel. He first confirmed the extra night I asked for, then told me the day after there was no room left and asked me to leave without any help! - The 'manager' is here to collect the money and smoke in the patio. For instance he knows nothing about the trips described on the walls! - There is a cardboard in the matress that makes is very hard.
