the location near medina. 20 minutes walk. to the grand mosque 35 minutes. the hotel is really old and need renovation. we have booked deluxe suite 801 for 3 people. as we came into the room , we found dirty sofas and carpet glazed with stains and food sauce or something like that and as we checked the toilet, the toilet frame was so blured with darkbrown dried stuff like someone has puked on it and the cleaning personal did not care about that. it was really disgusting to see it. we thought we will get 3 normal and comfortable beds instead of 2 twin beds and 1 thin folding bed. as we see the dirty carpet I always keeped my flipflops on when I walked thorugh the room. and last but not least the windows where you should be able to have an amazing view to the grand mosque if only the windows were cleaned.

I liked that it was close to the us Consulate. My wife had her visa interview there the next day. Everything went smoothly. The beds were very comfortable. We were both pretty nervous about the interview so neither one of us took advantage of the extras the hotel had to offer. We were not even hungry enough for breakfast the next morning. I liked that the valet noticed we booked the wrong room that had two single beds. He was nice enough to put us in a larger single bed.

The staff were friendly and helpful The food in the restaurant was of poor qualityat all three meal times.. The bath had rust stains. Despite agreeing that I could stay another half day for half the daily rate I was paying, this was reneged when I checked out. The excuse was I was getting a discount rate through booking.com

Hotelul atlas almohades este foarte interesant ca arhitectura si decoratiuni, stilul maur se impleteste cu cel european. Pe alocuri ar fi bine sa se innoiasca/renoveze, intrucit sint unele aspecte care par "obosite" (mai ales micul restaurant unde se ia micul dejun dimineata...). Personalul este excelent, ospitalier, iar amplasarea hotelului in zona foarte centrala permite vizitarea principalelor obiective ale orasului, mergind pe jos. Atentie la taximetre: nu va urcati in ele inainte de a negocia pretul, altfel veti avea surprize neplacute! Mici elemente ale hotelului ar avea nevoie de o renovare/innoire, pentru ca par "obosite" (de ex. Scaunele din restaurant!).
