Interesting convenient location; traditional style and atmosphere; friendly staff; high standard of cleanliness; furnishings pleasing. Ground floor room, which we had, is exposed to noise from within the riad early in morning, and is slightly lacking in privacy. Did not bother us but would bother some. TV room appeared to be used by staff/ family so that availability to guests was not clear. In the room a hairdyer would be welcome. |

The hectic, magical life of Marrakech starts literally around the corner from the front door of this authentic Riad. Once back inside the tranquility and quiet of the riad were the perfect respite. |

We liked the accommodation and the very friendly and helpful staff. The food we had at the hotel (cooked to order) was very good. As with many Riads the location was difficult, almost impossible to find by oneself. Nearest spot for a car to park is 1/2 mile. However this was alleviated by the Riad arranging transport and porterage. |

The proprietoress and her staff were unbelieveably friendly and helpful and accommodating. Breakfast on the terrace was a delight, and they even offered a wonderful home-cooked meal with local wines one evening. A charming place and well located near, but sheltered from the tourist areas. |

Really beautiful guest house (rooms, patio, roof-top terrace and all), detailed and lovingly interior decoration, friendly staff. On their website they offer an initiation to Moroccan cooking (one can stay in the kitchen, watch the cook prepare the meal, get some explanations on ingredients & timing). Not expecting a rip-off given the friendly atmosphere, we didn't ask prior how much the meal would cost (whose preparation my gf watched). However, eventually we were asked to shell out 465 Dh for two - when eating out in mid-range restaurants doesn't exceed 120 Dh/p. Now, this didn't make us poor (and would have been more acceptable with a more active cooking course), but it spoiled the atmosphere a bit - and perhaps one should be cautious with the "extras" they offer... No space left: privacy may be issue (as in most Riads); contact staff was on site only temporarily. |

Honest and knowledgeable - able to give a local perspective (and local prices) for a city which is otherwise challenging for the uninitiated. Very friendly, with the best tea and tagine of our visit. Difficult to find initially, and intimidating given part had to be done on foot. A map on the hotel's internet site, showing the quarter, the two car drop-off points, and the routes on foot from there, would have been a great comfort (as we could have printed it out and brought it with us). Once we had been there a day, though, it was refreshing to be in an authentic area of the medina. |

The owner and her staff are extremely friendly and helpful and made our stay at the Riad Adriana an enjoyable time to remember. The room was spacious and comfortable and hot water in the bathroom was available at all times of the day and night. No adverse comments to make about the hotel. However, smoking should be restricted in common area. |

The owner is very charming (French lady) and semi retired. A little eccentric perhaps but a lovely, helpful, accomodating lady. I had asked if she had a pool -. she did not, but drove us 20 minutes to one nearby. She also gave us great advice while there. Roof area fantastic - just don't look at the neighborhood - keep your head under the wall and you are in paradise. It is in a horrible part of Marrakech but from what I could see this is an ugly, smelly and aggressive town. I would not feel safe on my own there at night to walk near the hotel. But that is likely a reflection on Marrakech. There is a single door with 6 locks on it! |

Very welcoming staff, clean room, nice terrasse with wifi internet, big room. Very relaxing from the hustle-bustle of the city! People complain about it being hard to find, which Riad isnt? From BabDakkoula entrance simply walk straight take first left and first left. |

Close to Bab Doukkala with relatively straightforward access to Medina but, even, then guide needed to find Derb Jedid. Having a spare dirham or two or five is helpful for tips. No downsides. |

Airport pickup service available; very friendly and helpful staff (nice welcome and on day of departure, breakfast was already prepared at 7.15 am); breakfast is delicious and served on roof terrace when wheather is good; the Riad is beautiful and is situated in calmer area of the medina only a 10 minutes walk from Djeema el Fna ; decent bathroom with always hot water in the shower. first time maybe not easy to find, but you can call the Riad or simply ask; room was a bit cold (January) at night as we did not want to run heating/air condition all the time, but additional blanket was provided. |

Friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, location (inside the Medina, but very close to one of the gates), decor, delicious breakfast, surprisingly calm and quiet given the echo-prompt building, reasonable rates (€110) for new year. 15 min. walk to main plaza using the most direct route, 25 minutes via the souks. Minor things: Heating mode of the A/C did not work properly, could not close the bathroom door. |
