Personel was fantastic - very friendly and helpful.
Room had windows to the courtyard of the hotel - low intimacy.
The day staff Attiqa who as the only person who was hospitable in the place and seemed to be doing all the work. She took time out to be welcoming and answer tourism queries that the mgr would not answer. The traditional decor was appreciated but be warned the traditional shower rooms are separated only by a curtain from the bedroom!
Incompetant and lazy "manager" Adnan left our group of 8 adults, 3 young children and a baby on the street without alternative accommodation after we asked him to ensure that hot water is available in the bathroom. Hot water was only switched after a whole night and morning without when we asked the cook Attiqa to help us after Mgr Adnan refused to fix it. Mgr & 3 friends drinking & smoking & listening to loud music outside our room until 3am. Children and adults suffered ill effects of smoke inhalation and smell in the supposed non smoking rooms. No response from Riad when requested airport transfer. Mgr attempted to con us out of 25 Euro each to use the hammam which was filled with old mattresses. Having to wait 2 hours for our rooms to be confirmed by househelp instead of receptionist. No welcome from reception staff, had to rely on housekeeper for everything instead of mgr. Advertised Rabat Suite as having kitchenette and bbq area on booking.com but there was neither. We booked the place to use kitchenette for preparing baby food / milk but was let down. Non- smoking rooms are steeped in smoke. Towels were of dubious standard. This place was advertised as children friendly but children were told to "shush" and stay in their rooms when they woke up tp ahve breakfast on the patio at 8.30am!
We had a fantastic long weekend stay here! Beautiful Riad in a fantastic location and with wonderful, warm and friendly staff for which nothing is too much trouble! My other half particularly loved the bed as it was so comfortable! And we cannot thank Atika and Serjo enough for making our stay a real home from home! Also highly recommended is a massage from Fatima which can be done in the comfort of your room with candles and music etc - amazing! Would highly recommend a stay at Riad Ain to anyone and we will definitely be returning to Marrakech at some point and staying here again!!
Stayed here for four nights and really treated like family no request was too much from help with directions or sights to see all the way down to how I like my eggs in the morning the owner of riad Jean Pierre is very humble down to Earth guy who happens to make fine wines in France also had really good nite drinking on one nite and tried his Speacial brew he even gave me present to take back home and invited me to visit him in Bordeaux he also arranged pick up and drop off to airport for us cost 20 euros which is very cheap and less headache as finding riad on first time can be difficult as Marrakech like a maze but u get used to it in no time its also very safe as your next to royal palace so you have police and army outside on the rd 24 hours I used to be out until early hours so found this a good thing on one occasion had a slight mishap on a chauffeur driven taxi and Jean Pierre took 400dhm off my bill with out me even asking or complaining !! If you want a nice quiet family environment with people you can trust this is the ideal place for you and it's 5 mins to most places you want see including main square .... Returning in March can't wait Also Adnane is very knowledgable and will tell you the honest places to go eat and drink every where he recommended was amazing experience for us
Only thing I didn't like is that I had to return to the uk
-Staff(especially Atika) were really nice and helpful -Great location next to the royal residence and a few minutes walk from jemaa el fan -Riad was nice and tastefully decorated -nice terrace
Very friendly atmosfere, good quality/price balza c'è and charming room. Well placed in a calm corner of the Medina.
Near the medina. Very friendly if mildly incompetent staff.
Near koutoubia mosque so woken at 6am every day by the muezzin's call. Towels damp on arrival. One day a cold shower. Frequent miscommunication about breakfast times etc.
Thev location, cleanliness and friendliness of staff as well as value for money.
Staff, location, food, comfort
Room's where lovely....staff very friendly...location great....would definitely recommend road ain to anyone and if I ever return to Marrakech I wouldn't hesitate to stay with with them again.
This was our last stop in Marokko, and this riad was absolutely wonderful. It was exceptionally clean, quiet and cosy. Wonderful Arabic looking room with airco. Upstairs there was a roofterrace which was beautiful. The staff was super helpful and made our stay even better. It is in the hart of Marrakesh, just 5 minutes walk from the big square 'El Fna'. The staff showed us around, and you can book almost every trip you want to make near Marrakesh (like going to the dessert, etc.) We would reccomend this place to every one, it is the best.
safe -Location - nice and clean rooms
wi- fi connection is really poor- only one modem for the whole Riad?
