We enjoyed our stay at Al Akhawaine, Kacem and his team of girls were very friendly and accomodating, the location is great for visiting the city and and an excellent guide, Thami, was arranged to show us the sights of Fes. Our room, the Messria suite with four poster bed, was also an interesting and eclectic mix of Moroccan styles with many antique items. Breakfast was adequte, although some fresh fruit would have been welcome. We would especially reccommend Al Akhawaine to mature couples.

Great location inside Fez medina. Confuse to get there (if you travel by car you need to park quite far).

Location Staf is awfull, don't care about tourists at all, that was the only hotel where there was a 1/2 egg for breakfast, they didn't help me to bring my bag to the 3 floor, didn't help me to find hammam, everything they suggested was overcharged, lot of uncorrect inforrmation about sights and opportunities to visit it, and at last one of hotel stuff said that he is not pleased with my desision to leave hotel at 6 a.m. (early train) because he will have to get up early..

The staff was excellent very helpful. Made us feel like home. The owner Kacem (Not sure about the spelling) did everything to make our stay enjoyable. The ryad is located in a quiet street in the medina just off a main road and we were really immersed in the Fes life style. Not as fancy as some ryads in Marrakech and Essaouira but good value for the money, recommended Make sure you negociate with the porter before he carries your luggages.

We had a very pleasant stay in this beautiful Riad in Fez. Staff was very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed a great breakfast and a very big room, with a small terrace and separate livingroom, bathroom and dormitary. Riad is located near Bab Boujloud, so relatively easy to find in the maze of corridors in the old medina of Fez.

It was in an old riad that had beautiful decorations. They were helpful. Had someone pick us up at the airport. Helped us contact people that we needed for our trip. It did have a place on the roof where we could look over the city. We all got sick while we were there. We don't know what caused it. Our beds were on a slant so we felt like we might fall out one side. The sheet was pilling.

It was quite convenient to one of the main gates to the old medina of Fez which is a car free zone. They were very welcoming and friendly and the architecture and design is great. A very peaceful refuge from the busy market which is very close by.

I loved the quiet of this hotel, and its elegance. Also, it was very centrally located for visiting the old Medina, even though the quiet gave a sense of being far off the beaten track. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and it remained for us a reliable refuge during our stay in Fez.

We had a great welcome in the riad and felt like home from the first minute we arrived. The location of this Riad is perfect, just in the beginning of the medina. We had a great time in Fez and would really recommend this Riad to other travellers. Price/Quality a good option.

It's an excellent location in a confusing city: in the midst of shopping/restaurants/shrines, easy to find without imposing helpers, and good value for money, plus you can pay with a credit card. Also, two-level rooms, with bedrooms on the second floor provide better sound insulation, which is vital at dawn if you are not Muslim. What can be partly improved is breakfast. It was fine, but other riads offer fancier things, my personal soft spot being home-made preserves and marmalades.

This riad is in a great location to tour the old city of fez. All sorts of leather goods.shoes, and clothes on your doorstep. Local restaurants very cheap with traditional food. Breakfast nice, we had ours served on our private courtyard. Lots of bread. Mint tea served any time of the day. Staff organised local guide and transfers. Beds a bit on the firm side

Beetje jammer.
