Very central position, just outside the souks, you can walk to the main square in 10/15 minutes once you master the route. The riad is a small one, so it's quite and once inside it's not possible to hear the hustle and bustle of the market outside. The towels were changed everyday. The staff was kind.

We booked a half board double room. We had been given a twin room arranged as a double, very small and with no window in the bedroom. The guy in charged told us that if we weren’t happy he would have given us a double the next day. We asked at what time the dinner was served and he seemed very surprised. The cook had left already, we had to convince him we had a reservation which included the dinner and had to show him a printed receipt of our booking (we did print a copy in French as well as English, just in case, and we did well since he was not fluent in English). He escorted us to a restaurant 5 minutes away from the riad, which we had to pay for. Breakfast was not great and a bit on the small doses. Worrying that we could be late the next morning, the evening before our checkout date we asked if we could pay our bill. With my surprise, this other guy took a receipt out of a file with the amount already paid with my credit card numbers on it, dated the day before! I didn’t need to take my card out of my purse, swipe it, punch my pin into any machine.. it was already paid, let’s say they helped themselves without even having the cheek of informing me. They probably used a pre-authorization (I only used my card to book on line with and thought this information would stay with them) to draw money out of my account. At that time we booked a cab to take us to the airport the next morning. The guy assured us that someone would accompany us to meet the driver outside the souks. Checkout morning: nobody was at the reception. The time we supposed to see the cab driver arrived and passed. We asked the cook to please find out where the manager was. It was 9am. He appeared after a while, sleepy and blissfully unaware that we paid to his brother the evening before. He started to add up the prices of water bottles and two cokes we had at dinner (we made our point clear that they were included in our half board) and teas and a coffee.

    Nice friendly staff.

We had a 3 bed room. This had no windows to the riad inner yard. Normal is to have windows to the inner yard The feeling was beeing in a prison. The roof did not have nice view.
