The staff and architecture of the Riad, it is a beautifull place. We loved it. The pool although nice to look at is on the midle of the Riad and is very small, so not very interesting to swim in. The brekfast could be improved. They serve no alcohol.

very quiet area in busy medina. Very helpful owner. Very clean. Super for shopping . Definitely very handy to the souks but needed help with luggage from where the taxi arrived to the riad. Could be a little scary if you were single to walk along the back alleys on your own

I was traveling on my own for the first time to Marrakech. I arrived in the evening and Mohammad took me to the riad from where I was dropped off by the taxi. The streets were quite chaotic and I was thankful that someone came to show me the way. Once I stepped inside, I was amazed how beautiful and quiet the riad was. Absolutely enchanting! My room was impeccable and they really paid attention to every detail - rose petals on the bed, fresh flowers in the bathroom, lovely toiletlies...Later on Khaled took me to Jemaa el Fna. Walking through the souks was an experience but soon I got used to it. Other staff at the riad were equally very kind. It felt as if the riad was my home. I loved the stay at riad - definitely one of the best and most memorable place I've ever visited! It's not what I didn't like, but the location of the riad could be challenging - walking through narrow alleyways and the busy souks. I personally enjoyed the experience, but it is not for everyone.

Great staff, Fantastic food (Best meal we had the entire week in Morocco, and we went to some fancy places), Very clean, and generally a wonderful escape from the hustle and bustle of the Marrakech Medina. Once you step into the walls of the Riad, you'll completely forget about the hectic town outside. It's amazing how they have created such a serene atmosphere in a town that surpasses even New York City in busyness. The main drawback was the location. Walks to the main square of Jemaa el Fna take anywhere from 15 to 30 minutes depending on traffic (it can get really bad). At night, the walk back to the Riad is faster, but you are sure to run into "helpful" locals who will scream at you that the main square is in this way or that. Worse yet, sometimes the locals will be telling the truth, while other times it seems they are intentionally trying to throw you off and point in the wrong direction. The Riad also does not have an alcohol license, and it would have been great to relax to a beer or glass of wine, but this should only be a secondary concern. The location is the main drawback.

Riad was beautiful and very well kept. Very traditional and peaceful. With Simone's help we managed to navigate around way around the alleys to get to the souks and square (and back!). Breakfasts were lovely and served on the terrace if required, the staff looked after us very well. Being in the Riad within a warren in the medina heightened the experience for us and would thouroughly recommend. Simone could not do enough to help us showing us the areas we needed to go to, booking restaurants and organising us taxis to get us to and from the airport. The Riad Al Loune ticked all the boxes for an authentic Moroccan experience.

We were on our Honeymoon and were treated impeccably by the staff of the Riad. The Riad is absolutely beautiful, like paradise. Kept spotlessly clean and furnished in traditional style. The breakfast which is included is almost all 'homemade' including a delicious homemade yoghurt. Dinner is available if you want it and is traditional Moroccain dishes, which are equally delicious. The are two massage therapists on call if you like to enjoy a relaxing treatment on the roof terrace, where they have a specially built area. There is also a small hammam, which is complimentary. The staff of the Riad are brilliant: Khadija, the Manager; Youssef, Zeineb and Latifa. More than willing to help with anything you need and always polite and attentive. We would highly recommend staying here and hope to return again in the future. The Riad is situated in the old part of Marrakech, approx. 10 minute walk from the main square. To reach the Riad you must navigate your ways through the maze of old, cobbled streets and this is a bit creepy at night. There are also many vespas (everyone has one!) and these fly past at 90 miles an hour. It can be quite an experience, very interesting but not for the faint hearted! The Riad can always arrange a taxi to deliver you closer to the hotel if you are going out later at night.

Personale squisito, mangiare e pulizia eccellente...ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo.

The service and the atmosphere in this Riad is incredible!!! After booking, we received a friendly email with all the details on how to get there and an offer to book a transfer organised by the Riad, what we finally did. We were picked up by taxi at the airport and then guided by a friendly staff member on the short walk through the Medina to the Riad. Once there, we were in the middle of the peaceful and lovely oriental atmosphere of the Riad Al Loune. Fresh mint tea and delicious Moroccan cookies were offered to us and we were asked to feel like home. This was not difficult! The staff looked after us in such a friendly way that we really felt like home. The building and the rooms are in an oriental style and there are so many details in decoration that you just cannot believe how beautiful it is. You can choose if you want to have breakfast on the terrace or in the patio and you will get a rich Moroccan breakfast with pancakes, pastries, cake, yoghurt, fresh fruit salad.... We can also recommend to have an original Moroccan menu in the Riad cooked by the very friendly cook Rachida. A massage in the Riad is a must. It is done with Argan oil (be careful, in the Souks, the quality of Argan oil is not that high, but you can buy a bottle of good quality Argan oil in the Riad). The Riad is located at the eastern end of the Souks, so you can be in the middle of the Souks after 2 minutes walk. The beautiful previous Koran school "Medersa Ben Youssef" and the Museum of Marrakech are reachable within 5 minutes walk. The famous square Djemaa el Fna is around 10 minutes walk away and on the way to it you will pass the beautiful spice market "Place des Epices". As the streets around the Riad are not allowed for cars you can take a taxi to visit places/have diner outside the medina directly from the Djemaa el Fna square.

Tutto: Riad senza dubbio fantastico, a circa 10 minuti a piedi da Jema El Fnaa, siamo in un vicolo tranquillo della vera Marrakesh. Accoglienza ottima e servizio impeccabile . Ci torneremo appena possibile.
